Unless the app is available from the iTunes app store, you are out of luck. There are many Android apps that are not available on the iPhone and likewise many iPhone apps not avaliable on Android.

Is there a reason that you don't want to use Migration Assistant to automatically transfer all your user files from one Mac to the other?
If you absolutely want to do it manually, copy the contents of the user/Library/Application Support/AddressBook folder from the old Mac to the new. Use Dropbox or a flash drive or whatever you prefer, but it must end up in the same location you copied it from. You must hold down the Option key and click the Go menu in Finder to see the Library folder, or use Go - Go to Folder and type in "~/Library".

I tried to download my old phone's iCloud data to my new phone and keep getting the same message "apple ID could not created because server error." I can't connect to iTunes, my iMac has the old operating system. Is there anyother way to download without restarting to phone? Thanks!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and install any updates available.
Navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all contents and settings on the device you want to restore.
When this completes and the Set-Up Assistant starts, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose which backup to restore from.

If Contacts are the only thing you care about, you can turn on iCloud on the old phone following the setup instructions in http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/ and insure that you turn on Contacts in the list of items to be synced.
You can verify that the contacts are uploaded to iCloud by then logging in to https://www.icloud.com
On your new phone, when you setup iCloud and turn on Contacts, as you did on the old phone following the instructions above, the contacts will automatically sync to the new phone.

I have an older model iPod that was synced to my computer back in 2007. Obviously that computer is LONG gone. What I'd like to do now is transfer all the music off the iPod to my new iPhone but I can't figure out how. I downloaded iTunes and plugged in my iPod and iPhone but it hasn't seemed to help.
How do I do this?

You need to authorize the new computer in iTunes, transfer purchases from the iPad into the new iTunes library, backup the iPad and then restore the iPad from the newly created backup and then sync with iTunes.

As stated above, you can download apps again at no charge as long as you use the same ID. Depending on where you live, (in the U.S.) you can download just about everything again that you have purchased as long as you use the same ID.

It depends on what kind of sim card and carrier you have, but the most likely answer is no. Contacts, maybe, but pictures are very unlikely. Sorry.

if the computer cannot be turned on, one option would be to remove the hard drive and put it in an external enclosure that can be connected to the working computer.
