The answer is very simple: You were not the original owner of the phone. Target sold you a phone that had been returned. You can verify the date of the original sale here: Apple - Support - Check Your Service and Support Coverage. I suspect you will find that the warranty expiration date is not one year from the date that you bought it.

I was able to create a digital signature for my boss who's on vacation using his email address. I figured when I used the signature he would get some sort of email confirmation letting him know, but he got nothing. So it seems like I could create a signature for anyone and use it on any document without their knowledge. What's the protection against anyone creating a signature for anyone else and using it whenever?? Am I missing something??

A digital signature can not be used to verify someone's identity. I can create a signature using anyone's name and email address. In fact, those things are irrelevant to the signature. The only thing that matters is the key used to create it, and therefore to verify it.

They are iMessages & this is happening because you both use the same Apple ID for iMessage, iCloud & FaceTime. One of you needs to get a separate Apple ID & use that for iMessage, FaceTime & iCloud. You can continue to use the same Apple ID for iTunes content, but for the rest you both need separate Apple ID's. You can create an Apple ID here:

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

We installed a new Exchange 2007 CAS on Windows 2008R2. Got rid of old CAS on Exchange 2007. Now seeing this error. Does anyone have an idea??

If the issue persists, I recommend you install Exchange 2007 SP3 RU7 and check the result. Also, ensure that Exchange 2010 SP2 RU1 or later version is installed. Old Exchange version may lead to the CAS-to-CAS proxy incompatibility.

There is no such thing as "sub-accounts".
Multiple Apple ID's can be used on a single device.
Created unique Apple ID's for each user and use those Apple ID's on the appropriate devices from iCloud and iMessage. This will not affect the media on the device.

If you want to switch from PC to Apple I recommend a programm like Parallels.
It has a tool (believe its called transporter) which runs on your current PC and creates a file (big) which is a "virual machine". It is a 1:1 copy of your PC which will run under parallels on your iMac.
You will be running your "old" PC as it was under MAC OS X while you run MAC applikations etc at the same time.
This is how I made the transition to Apple.

You will not be able to complete your order through the Apple Online Store, because the carriers require that you have the mobile number, account number, last 4 of SSN & password for account or any combination of a few of those criteria. The best solution Apple can generally offer is that you purcahse a Gift Card and allow the recipient to purchase the iPhone themselves.
