Simple answer: yes.
But... you need to proceed very carefully or you might delete the wrong things.
Are you running a Managed or a Referenced Library?
A Managed Library, is the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing. The files are then stored in the Library package
A Referenced Library is when iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing because you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced. (You unchecked the option to copy files into the Library on import) The files are then stored where ever you put them and not in the Library package. In this scenario you are responsible for the File Management.
If you have a Managed library, and also have copies in the Pictures Folder outside the Library, then they're the waste of space...

I think the best solution would to just sync all email accounts and turn on and off which accounts you want on a device by going to Settings>Mail/Contacts/Calendars>name of e-mail account>toggle Mail On/Off switch.
I do not own multiple iDevices (maybe one day I will), try that and see if it works.

Sounds like you have display set to "Mirror"
Apple menu > System Preferences > Displays > Display tab > deselect mirror displays

For your addressbook, export the files to vCard on the PowerMac, then bring them over to your Mac Pro. For your iPhoto, copy the Users -> yourname -> Pictures folder to your Desktop on the Mac Pro, and open iPhoto on the Mac Pro holding the command and option keys. Select the library file from that Pictures folder and open it. It should import all the pictures into iPhoto as part of the rebuild process. Whether or not everyone gets the response depends solely on the person responding. i.e. you send a group text and i am one of the reciepients. From here i have two options, reply to the group text (everyone gets my reply) or i could text just you on the side (by opeining a new window in messages with just you as the reciepient) and replying to just you. Theres nothing you can do, its up to the person replying whether or not they reply to the entire group or just you seperately.

"Headers" is short for "Continuing Headers."
Use a Header when you want recurring information on a series of pages in your document.
If ii, iii, etc. are page numbers, you can place them in Headers using Insert > Page Number, then formatting the page number to lower case Roman numerals.
