Paid my subscription,i can only download trial versions and than being asked to subscribe and pay

I have paid my subscription for photoshop/lightroom cc. Got a mail with link to download the desktop app. I have done so but no matter what I do, I can only download trial versions and then being asked to subscribe and pay for a subscription to the cloud. I have been busy for 2 days and cannot get it to work properly.

I didn't, was something with adobe. Came with the download.

When I launch the apps store, the google maps download page shows and I am unable to proceed to the store in spite of having already downloaded google maps. Any clues on rectifying this please?

Did you try to open teh fle by double-clicking its icon? If the file was made with an older version of Office, you may get that message. Try opeing PP and, from its "File" menu, see if you can open the ppt. I've foundthat often gets around that message and then yo ucan save the file from the newer version.

I just got my mac a month ago so go easy on me but I was just working with the pages that was already on it, and then today I know it updated, and now I am unable to open a lot of my documents!:( Idk what you mean by the icloud version lol sorry! As for the version, when I open pages from my apps and click 'about' it says version 5.1? And when I open the document it just goes grey and kind of blinks and doesnt open? What is a proper way to download video first and then play it in Flash? NetStream seems to allow me only to stream video - I can't find a way to download file completely first. Is there some other file for this?

No, I don't think that's the issue. I have no problems downloading the video using URLLoader, which does the crossdomain check. Problem is when I do this:
stream = new NetStream(connection);

video.attachNetStream(stream);

stream.appendBytes(videoByteArray as ByteArray); // videoByteArray is taken from URLLoader downloaded content, i.e. the video
As you can see NetStream doesn't know anything about the video, it doesn't know anything about the server, so it can not take something from crossdomain.xml.
As far as I've read, it's imposible to do what I'm doing: simply Flash security won't allow to take contents of anonymous stream (i.e. stream started with play(null)).
So my question is: how do I download video first and then play (instead of streaming) it in some other way? I couldn't find such API on NetStream itself.

you can only buy an app 1 time they don't bind to the computer or ios device for that matter they bind to the appleID

Downloading google maps from apps store and songs from itunes.

When I try to download google maps from the apps store or a song in itunes on my iphone 4s, i get the following message 'your account is not valid for use in US store. You must switch to pakistani store before purchasing'. How should I be going about it?

IWeb Google Maps and Photo Gallery Question

I have a Website I started to create a while back. Is there a way to insert a google map and some type of photo gallery
into my site, now that MobileMe is gone??? I really liked the simplicity of iWeb. Is there anything else out there?

You can still insert Google maps into your site - you just need to do it as you did before the Google maps widget arrived.
Go to Google maps and create the map you want and then copy and paste the code and place it in an ordinary html snippet and then click on Apply and the map will appear.
Also, another tip - you could have found all the answers that you were looking for before even posting your question by searching this forum and there have been literally hundreds of posts on the same topics of Google maps and slide shows.
Suggest you search the forum and look for posts by Old Toad and Roddy, who have found alternatives.
You don't need to stop using iWeb - if you have it use it, but just upload to another host/server.
There are plenty of alternative out there - again a forum search would have given you answers.
Take a look at RapidWeaver, Sandvox, Freeway Pro/Express and Flux 4. You can download free trials of all of these and most are available for purcahse from the Mac App Store.

Yeah this "fix" is bunk. The movie is downloading just fine, but the extra features is the one giving me this error code. It is NOT my firewall. If it was, then both files wouldn't download. Plus, I already have the firewall "issue" tacked down and fixed. Have had it fixed for months now. No, this is due to the "new" itunes version 11 software. The only conclusion to fix this issue is UPgrading from 11 back to 10.7 which is what I am going to do. This is completely ridiculous! Come on, Apple, get itunes working once and for all, and fire the people responsible for itunes 11, just like you did to the guy who was responsible for apple maps. Thankfully Google came back to the rescue with google maps app.
