Can I download once a app for more than one iPhone?

I would like to know... if could I download the WhatsApp Messenger on my iPhone 4 (which costs 0.99 dollars) and into my older iPhone without paying twice.
This is possible? Could I go to AppleStore on which iPhone and download it on each iPhone with the same account without paying for it twice?
Thank you

How would you be so sure? Even if I use different PCs to sync each one?
It only matters that you use the same iTunes Store account.  Read these instructions:

  • Can we use same program ID for more than one RFC scenarios

    Hi experts,
I am working on a RFC to FILE scenario. I have created one TCP/IP connection in SM59 with a program ID. Can we use this program ID for more than one scenario. I have written code as below
data: iquote type standard table of ZIQMD initial size 0,
IPRODUCT type standard table of ZPMS initial size 0,
          wa_quote type ZIQMD,
          wa_PRODUCT type ZPMS.
    CALL FUNCTION 'Z_CBT_RFC_QUOTEMASTER'
      TABLES
        I_QUOTE       = iquote          .
CALL FUNCTION 'Z_CBT_RFC_QUOTEMASTER' in background task DESTINATION
    'ID4'
      TABLES
        I_QUOTE       = iquote          .
      COMMIT WORK.
    CALL FUNCTION 'Z_CBT_RFC_PRODUCTMASTER'
      TABLES
        IPRODUCT       = IPRODUCT          .
CALL FUNCTION 'Z_CBT_RFC_PRODUCTMASTER' in background task DESTINATION
    'ID4'
      TABLES
        IPRODUCT       = IPRODUCT          .
        COMMIT WORK.
when i am executing the code like this. i am able to send the data to 'Z_CBT_RFC_QUOTEMASTER'  , but iam not getting data  for 'Z_CBT_RFC_PRODUCTMASTER'  interface. ID4 is the connection that i have created in SM59. with program ID as ABCD.
Can i use the same connection for all interfaces. Please help in this, if we can use same connection for all interfaces. then how to make changes in XI.
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Poorna.

Just tried this and I can confirm that my earlier understanding was correct!
One of my colleagues confused me out and the conclusion is,
    1. You need a separate TCP IP Connection for every interface with a Unique program ID.

  • Can you download from i tunes to more than one i pod

download from i tunes to more than one i pod

Sync each with the iTunes library normally. This won't erase any content(except for rented movies) from the library, but will erase content from other iTunes libraries on the iPods. If you want to preserve that, click here and follow the instructions.

  • Can I use the redemption code for more than one machine for Photoshop Elements?

I want to use the Photoshop Elements that I bought on more than one machine. Is that
possible using the Redemption Code? It says it was used with another Adobe ID.
    Thanks

    Hi Stover,
Typically you use the redemption code to retrieve your serial number for Elements products. The licensing for Elements allows the owner to install on two of their computers.

  • Can I setup two-step verification for more than one Apple ID?

I have one iPad and one iPhone.
    I have four Apple IDs.
I want to setup two-step verification in all four accounts.
    Can I?
It seems that I can't, because to add a "trusted device" to an Apple ID requires setting up Find My iPhone on that device. Find My iPhone requires an iCloud account (which is available with every Apple ID). But once you change the iCloud account account used for Find My iPhone on a device, the device will not be able to be used in two-step verification for the previous iCloud account. Or will it get remembered?
Anyone have any knowledge about this?

You should be able to have more than account authorised on your Mac's iTunes via the Store > Authorise This Computer menu option - and you should be able to select and sync purchases from both accounts to your phones

  • How does syncing apps with more than one iPhones work?

Me and my girlfriend both has a iPhone. I was wondering do I have to purchase the app twice for both iPhones?are apps tied with my computer, the phone or my iTunes account? Assuming I purchase it from my mac there's no way to say which iPhone it is for so I assume I can use of on both phone? But what of I bought it from the phone?

Yes you can do this. It works just like music, you do not have to purchase an app twice if, for example, you purchase an app and then would like to also put it onto your husband or wife's iPhone. You can authorize up to five computers to "hold onto" the app and allow it to be synchronized down to the iPhone. I did this with two computers, mine and my wife's, synching to two iPhones, mine and hers. There's probably a limit of 5 iPhones too, but I don't know for sure.
You can simply email an app, or put it onto a CD or external storage device to move it to another computer, and then authorize it on the additional computer.
Here's what you need to know:
Go to iTunes on a computer that has the app. Top left, Library menu, click on Applications to display the applications which are on this computer. You'll get a big screen that says IPhone and IPod Touch Apps, and icons for each. Right click (Control-click if you have to) to get the contextual menu, and select "Show in Finder." All of your apps should be residing in the resulting folder. Grab one or more of them and email or copy to a CD or external drive (or transfer by network) to get the app onto the additional computer. On my computer this is the "Mobile Applications" folder in my iTunes Library; this appears to be the default location. Of course you need to put the app into the correct default folder on the new computer.
Once the app(s) is on the new computer, it may not show up in iTunes (look in the same place; in other words, open iTunes, go to "Library --> Applications" top left). If it's not showing up in iTunes, then simply go back to the folder (the actual app in the finder) and right-click and select Open With --> iTunes. That'll force it to show up. Your goal is for the app to show up in iTunes on the "new" (additional) computer. Once it shows up, you are almost there, although it is not yet authorized, so if you go ahead and sync with your iPhone on this additional computer the transfer will fail.
To authorize it, simply double click on the app IN iTUNES, right there in the Library -->Applications view. A window will pop up and say you are not authorized to play this (just like it does when you try to play a song you originally purchased on a different computer). The user name that is displayed will be the user name of the original purchaser. Enter the password of the original purchaser. You are good to go. If you added multiple apps, they will all become authorized on this additional computer with this single authorization action, you do not have to repeat the authorization for each of them, as long as they all were purchased by the same user.
Proceed with syncing the additional iPhone using iTunes on the additonal computer. You are done. Enjoy!
This will work with no regard to AT+T accounts, it's not related to them at all. You can have five authorized computers, including the one which originally purchased the song or app. You can send an app to a friend who lives in a faraway place and allow him to authorize his computer to play your apps and songs. Note that he will be able to play all of your apps and songs forever until you deauthorize his computer. This does not mean he will have access to your account in any way; simply that he will have general authorization for any songs or apps you send him; he won't need to re-authorize any new things you send him. In order to allow you to maintain control (change your mind) there is an option in the iTunes Store (Account button) which allows you to deauthorize ALL computers on your account, if you wish to reauthorize individual computers again.
The apps and songs are simply password protected. If you send one to someone they won't be able to use it unless they know your password, and you can allow this up to five times (for five computers).

  • Can I put the same app on more than one iPad?

I'm not sure I can even do this or how if I can.
Situation is I got a New iPad and my wife 'inherited' my iPad2. We use ONE Apple iTunes account. I've dup'ed the iPad2 over to the New iPad. We use two computers and each has iTunes on it. No problems at this point.
Now I added an app to my iPad, and my wife wants it. She went to the app store and it shows as 'already installed'. Again, we're both using the same account (I don't want 2). Looked at Previous Purchases, same thing, already installed, grayed out.
So the question is can I do what I want, that is install the same app on 2 iPads? If so, how?
    Thanks,
    Irv S.

Sure - as long as you use the same apple ID on both devices you can download it to both devices. Why is is greyed out on her iPad is not clear to me - other than the app is actually on her iPad via Automatic Downloads and she doesn't realize that its on the device. Is that possible?
Search for the app on her iPad- swipe to the right from the first home screen and type in the name of the App at the top in the search field. Does it show up?

  • Can you use apps on more than one iphone?

My husband and I both have iphones. I sync my phone at work and he syncs his on our imac at home. We both have purchased apps that we would like to share. Can my apps be copied to the itunes at home and then be loaded on my husband's iphone? I think it is crazy that we have to pay so much for some of these business apps if we can't share them.

Thanks - I haven't any way of testing it but quickly scanning that article, I cannot see anywhere which says about content purchased by two different accounts being share-able. It allows content to be moved into a central library which itself becomes share-able between multiple devices (like an iTunes library on one machine being useable by another) but as there is no mention of the second machine I assumed that it had to be logged in with the same account.
I read it as sharing content between media purchased under the same account and if as was suggested earlier, Apps are DRM protected to a given account, I cannot see anywhere there which authorises Account A Apps to be used under Account B.
Maybe it works in practice, I don't know, in which case the article needs to be rewritten to make this clear, or the statement that an App is tied to an Account is false.
To take up wjostens point in the next post he/she says that both his and his wifes iPhone share the same Apps as they were bought with the same account. This I understand but thats NOT what the OP was asking.
The OP's have Apps bought with different accounts altogether and if they are tied to Accounts as Lawrence Finch suggests I cannot see how Person A can use Person B's purchased material when the DRM allegedly should prevent this ?
Surely if this were the case then anyone could use any App using Home Sharing by just importing Apps from a hard disc ?

  • Can an iPad be set up for more than one user accounts?

I have an Ipad wifi. i would like to let my son use it, but would like to set up a separate user account for him. Is this possible on an Ipad?

No, an iPad is a single-user device, it can only have one set of apps and content on it

  • Buying apps for more than one Touch?

I have two iPod touch's in my home and so far have used one on my laptop, the other on the homes desktop. However apps bought on one I can't load on the other. Now with the new sharing is this possible? I just don't see why I would have to pay twice.

If I'm not mistaken you just have to sign into your iTunes account on each computer and activate them both. This should allow you to have the apps downloaded on both computers.

  • Buying apps for more than one ipad classroom

Can schools pay for one app and install on 5 others that are connected to the same iTunes account in a classroom? We do not have configurator

Not legally, no. You legally need to purchase one license for each iPad you're going to be using the app on. If Apple offers the Volume Purchase Program in your country, that's usually the most practical route.

  • Can Time Machine perform encrypted backups for more than one computer to the same external drive?

I have two MBPs.  The older MBP, with 1TB of storage, now contains two other MBP clones, for a total of 3 user machines on 1 MBP).  I'd like to back up both my newest MBP, and the older MBP with the 2 clones, to my new 5TB drive (via wi-fi).  I want to encrypt these backups, but am unclear whether it is possible.  Does TM first encrypt the drive itself, or is each back up separately encrypted?  I understand that if I wanted to encrypt an existing Time Matters backup on a drive, the prior data would be erased and reformatted, but here I am working with a new backup drive, on which one encrypted backup has been performed.
I just don't want to overwrite this existing backup (which was for my newest MBP).
Thanks for whatever help anyone can provide.

You should have prepared the drive better..
The drive should have been partitioned. It is possible to load the backups.. but you can get into trouble.
    See http://pondini.org/TM/4.html
Since partitioning at this point would destroy the existing backup.. the best way is to setup a disk image for each of the other Macbook backups and then mount the disk image and use that for the TM backup..
Encrypting the drive or the backup.. that is something I avoid.. backups to me are useless if I forget or lose the key.. apple have warned lose the key.. the backup is useless..
But check pondini FAQ .. you might be able to encrypt a drive image.. or the backup.
