Can i have an ipod mini and an ipod nano on same account

My daughter got an ipod mini 2 christmas's ago and so we have an itunes account. This christmas my son got an ipod nano because they had discontinued the minis. My son likes a lot of the songs that my daughter had on her ipod and i really dont want to use all that money just to rebuy songs. I was wondering if there was any way that I could use one account and they both have the same songs on their ipods.

There are a couple of methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer. One way is is to set your preferences so each iPod is updated with only certain playlists within one library. You could create one playlist for the Mini and one for the Nano. Each playlist can have whatever songs you like in it drawn from the single library. If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device and follow the instructions.

When syncing the iPhone and iPad with iTunes on your computer that is logged in with the Apple ID you plan on using on all three, the Apple ID should be transferred to the iPhone and iPad for the iTunes & App Stores on each device. If not, you'll need to sign out of the existing Apple ID on the iPhone and iPad followed by signing in with the Apple ID you want to use on both.
Keep in mind that all 3rd party apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account or Apple ID that was used to download the apps. With an app installed on your iPad and iPhone that was downloaded with a different Apple ID from the one you will be using now, you will need to use that Apple ID and password to install app updates for those apps. Not possible to transfer apps purchased with one Apple ID to another or to merge Apple IDs.

There is no device limit for the number of iDevices that can be synced with the same iTunes library on the same computer. Each device can have its own sync preferences with iTunes on the same computer along with iTunes creating and updating a separate backup for each device.
Do you share the same iTunes library and iTunes account? If so, then there is no reason to have separate iTunes libraries. Each device can have its own sync preferences with iTunes. iTunes content can be added to an iTunes library from an iPhone, but iTunes content cannot be deleted from an iTunes library by syncing an iPhone with iTunes.

Hi,?Can I have speakers (2.0 Creative I-Trique 2200) and headphones with mic (Sennheiser PC6)?connected at the same time to the back of the card?The question is related to SB X-FI XtremeGamer Fatalty?(without front panel), as I assume with a front panel it wouldn't be an issue. More than possible. Start with plugging the headphones into the front out jack and the speakers in the rear out. Then it is just a matter of changing the speaker settings and a change in CMSS. When using the headphones set it to headphones, and when you want to use the speakers set it to 4., and in the CMSS settings adjust the fron/rear balance to all rear.

Many thanks for the reply; so to explain to this bear with little brain!!! If I just plug and sync into itunes without touching anything, my contacts will stay on the phone, and not revert back to my husbands contacts?
This was what happened when he received his new phone,
All was fine and dandy when we plugged his new phone in to itunes and registered his phone, but when I plugged his old phone in to itunes for me to customize to my liking and add the few apps and move things around, pop up boxes kept appearing and I just said to yes to all, as I am very new to this, not realizing what any of it really means.
The next day I went to use my phone to call someone, and I had found that all the contacts had disappeared.....I was not a happy bunny, so I plugged into itunes and the only contacts that reappeared were my husbands old list of contact.
I went into town to the Orange shop and they managed to transfer my contacts from my old sim on to the iphone, again....but the man in the shop said to stop it happening again, I have to open another itunes account, something I do not wish to do.
Is the Orange shop assistant correct?

I like the ease and layout of the previous iMovie. In my mind, it's quicker and more precise. But, at the same time, there are some good features of iMovie 11 I also like. So, I was going to download iMovie 6.0.3 and just use both of them, but then I started worrying that if I installed it, it might mess up iMovie 11, or the installation simply might not work. It was just a special update for those, who didn't like then new iMovie08 - which wasn't more than just a demo, imho.With appearance of iM09, v6.03 was pulled by Apple…-
You need a 'real' installer disk with an old version of iLIfe to install iMHD6.
There's no legal way to download an obsolete version of iMovie.-
iMHD6 and actual iM11 can co-exist on the same Mac.
Afair, you need MacOS 10.6 to install it…

My paper work for my linksys says WEP 64 bits. I've tried changing my IPOD to that and it will say put in password and when I do I get "invalid password" or can not connect. The wifi symbol only indicates the presence/signal strength of wifi. Not that you are connected.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them.
