Can I have photoshop on a work computer and a laptop?
HI, I have just bought photoshop and I have it installed on my computer at work, however, I would like to be able to use it on my laptop so that I can use it on the move too. Is this possible without paying for it again?
well you can access Photoshop from any computer but you have install it first on that computer
at a time the creative cloud subscription will work on two computers

I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum for this question, but I don't know where else to ask about installing on cross platforms. So, the computer I use at work is a PC. I know you are allowed to install the programs on two computers, one work computer and one laptop. My laptop is a Mac. Is it possible to install the second copy on a Mac?

If your employer allows you to do that, then yes.

Music you have purchased from the iTunes Store, yes.
Music you have put in your iTunes Library from other sources, no, unless you have subscribed to iTunes Match and all your songs are stored in Apple's iCloud as well. -
Need help getting iPhone 4s unstuck. It froze while installing update. Screen shows iTunes logo and USB plug.
If your phone is in recovery mode (You see the iTunes graphic on the phone), you MUST connect the device to a computer and restore the operating system. There is no supported way to get around it. The device had a problem installing the update and it crashed. Sorry.

I am having some issues with getting my catalog on my PC (Photoshop 13) to my wife's PC (Photoshop 8).
1. I tried to backup the catalog on Computer A (PSE 13) then retrieve on computer B (PSE 8) and it returned an error with catalog response
2. I then copied the all the photo folders to Computer B and instead of uploading catalog I tried to import the the entire folder - It does not like this and seems to simple freeze (it is a large folder (28GB of photos) but I did not expect this to be a problem
Can anyone help?Since, you are talking about catalogs, it has to be Photoshop Elements 8 & 13.

Can you have 2 Ipods on same computer and each have a different library
I am running two Ipods on one computer. I have it set for manually chaning the songs not automatic. My question is do we have to share a library? Is it possible for us to each have our own library and if so how do you do that.

I just installed Photoshop and want to use it as the external editor in iPhoto. I also have PS Elements on the computer and the only external editor I can get iPhoto to recognize is PSE. Any help in changing the external editor to PS would be appreciated!
Welcome. I am using Photoshop CS5 and this works fine for me. Possibly Adobe has changed this in CS6. Hopefully, LarryHN will have further suggestions. Best.

I recently downloaded a movie from itunes from my work computer and now I can't get it on my home computer. I have already hit the button add recent downloads. Any suggestions?

I got a new computer for home and I am trying to transfer all of my music, movies, photos and apps from my IPAD. I have been using my work computer ofr this in the past but want to change to my new home computer. I can't figure out how to do this without erasing everything from it.
This is an extract from one of our senior participant; hope he doesn't mind me reproducing it here
Syncing with new computer
1) Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
2) Now connect your iPad to your laptop and start iTunes.
3) When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases etc.
4) After it finishes transferring all your apps to your new laptop, right click on your iPad and select Backup your iPad.
5) After it finishes backing up your iPad, right click on your iPad and select Restore etc.
6) After it finishes restoring, left click on your iPad , then click on the Apps tab on top, and check the box next to Sync Apps, then click on Apply below.
If everything on your iPad looks good after the sync, go back and click on Edit / Preferences / Devices and UN-check the box next to Prevent your iPod etc. The only other thing you may want to check is if your contacts, bookmarks, etc. are syncing correctly now. If not, go to the Info tab after connecting and make sure you indicate which features you want to sync with what sources. -
Since 2012 I have Photoshop Elements always worked without any problem, however now the language is suddenly German how can this be changed, removed the program and re-installed, not working. Program is downloaded and updated via the apple app store?
I've done some research on the SQLite database. Whenever Aperture hangs up (like during auto-stack or opening the filter hud) there are thousands of SQLite queries happening. These SQLite queries cause massive file I/O because the database is stored on the disk as 1kb pages. However, the OS is caching the database file; mine's only 12MB. I'm trying to track down some performance numbers for SQLite on osx but having trouble.
It's starting to look like most of the speed problems are in the libraries that Aperture uses instead of the actual Aperture code. Of course, that doesn't completely let the developers off the hook since they choose to use them in the first place.
Oh, and if anyone is curious, the database is completely open to queries using the command line sqlite3 tool. Here's the language reference http://www.sqlite.org/lang.html

I have 3 i phones. Can I have multiple accounts on one computer where it keeps the contacta and calendar for each?
My daughter and I both have iphones. I created an account (not separate itunes) for her on my computer so she could sync her phone/itunes but not have it interfere with mine since we have WAY different taste in music. Creating a different computer profile should work if you have separate itunes accounts, too.
If you all use the same itunes account, you can turn on Home Sharing. That way you can all download the same content without having to pay for it again. Not sure how or if that works with separate itunes accounts.

I have just bought a new computer and downloaded the latest version of itunes. It has all installed fine, but when I plug my ipod and sync it, the music library shows all the songs and videos that are on there, but won't let me play them. Also, I can't add any new songs to the same library. It saves them elsewhere. I have had the previous version on another computer and it worked just fine. I have been online trying to find an answer but nothing. Hope someone can help me. Thanks
Installing iTunes does not cause content to magically appear on the computer.
Your media is only where you put it.
iOS devices are not backup devices.
Copy the media from the old computer to the new computer. -
I had an I tunes account on my work computer and used my work e mail as my apple I'd for I tunes .
The company went bust and the computer went back and the e mail closed down so I have no access to my iTunes library .
Is their any way I can retrieve it .

That Apple ID will work a user name and password to log into iTunes. You can always download any previous purchased by following the steps in the first aticle below.

How Can you reinstall Photoshop Elements12 to a computer that its was there but loss it after installing windows 8.1
Reinstalling Mavericks depends on several factors:
if you erased your recovery partition
what OS originally came on your Mac.
I'll assume you don't have a backup available that you made before your mishap, because you didn't mention it.
That's really the take home message here: have a backup!
If you still have your recovery partition:
boot into the recovery partition (command R at restart)
use the recovery partition to reinstall Mavericks. see: OS X: About OS X Recovery
if you do not still have your recovery partition, then it depends on whether your Mac originally came with installer disks or not.
If it originally came with installer disks, you would boot from the installer disks, erase your HD, and then reinstall the OS that is on the installer disks, and then upgrade as necessary until you get to Mavericks.
If your mac did not originally come with installer disks, but you managed to erase your recovery partition, then you can try to boot into internet recovery (option-command-R at restart), and use internet recovery to erase your HD and reinstall the OS that originally came with your computer, and then upgrade to Mavericks if you need to. (the reference refers to ML but it applies just as well to Mavericks).
