You can't delete some of the native apps but you can put them away in a folder OR some of them you can make invisible by restricting them (iTunes for example).

Are you doing this in the web browser? If so, have you ever launched Adobe Reader as a standalone application? If so, then you should have had the opportunity to accept the EULA.

Are you using Adobe Reader on a Mac or Windows computer?
There is no such thing as "plugins" for iOS/iPad/iPhone. Unlike desktop apps, Adobe Reader for iOS and any other iOS apps do not use plugins.
Would you provide more information about what you are trying to do by activating "plugins"?

Assuming you mean Adobe Reader, you may want to try the following.
Remove all traces of Reader (not only the program) from your system using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. This is no longer supported by Microsoft because it can produce problems with Win 7, but you can still download it from from places like

Then, download the Reader installer from

and perform a clean install.

The instructions on the Adobe site are outdated and do no longer apply to current Firefox versions and you can ignore those instructions and save the Adobe installer to your desktop and start the installation with a double-click on that file.

How can i kill the Adobe Reader session right away?

I have developed an interactive form, my_form. And we launch / render this my_form in (ERP / SAP) application's portal IE browser, well.
Say, user opened this form, worked on it, submitted (we have our own submit button) and closed the window by clicking the top right corner's X button, but user is seeing stll the red Reader icon on the bottom bar, even thought the user is closed the window completely
If user try to close this reader red reader icon explicitly, user is getting the other exception popup as Runtime error as described here http://forums.adobe.com/thread/391738
Hence, am thinking to KILL the reader session right away the moment user closes the window, pls. let me know,
1) How can i KILL the reader session via JavaScript, is it possible?
2) if so, what the JS code i need to put and

How can I hide the main front panel when I run from the executable?

Hopefully this is an easy question. I have an application where the front panel is not the main GUI and I would like to hide it when the program runs, but only when it runs from the executable. How can I do this?

Instead, you can set the FP state to minimized (as suggested earlier) or (better) to hidden.

Adobe Reader can only open PDF files.
