I want to know if I can Integrate ADF Mobile with (BPEL or BPM) and can I open my worklist App from ADF Mobile.

why don't you access the worklist app from the mobile device browser?
To answer your question: You can access BPEL processes as a service from an ADF Mobile application. If you have URLs which content you want to display within the mobile Application, then try adding a feature that uses a URL as a resource.

Hello,
I am new to BPEL. I am working on a sample .
I am working on ADF Integration with BPEL process.
I have an ADF Screen displaying data from an EMPLOYEE table in HR Schema . It has a button called "Update". I need to call a synchronous BPEL process on click of "Update" . This BPEL process will take the selected employee information as an XML input and update the last name to the first name as the response.
I have some doubts in that :
1. How to pass an XML Schema as input parameter to a BPEL process ? Can you please let me know some sample applications ?
2. I am creating a web proxy for the BPEL WSDL (created above) and my "Update" button is binded to a method which is calling the BPEL process.
How can i pass my XML input as the argument of the method to invoke the BPEL process ?

When using a web service proxy, you need to pass the data as an object, which' structure is defined in the web service proxy wrapper classes.
When you've defined a data control for your bpel process, you can just drag and drop the 'initiate'/'execute', your operation and bind this to the update-button.
When working with the proxy client, you need to populate your java class objects with the employee-object, this can be done in a backing bean or managed bean in your adf faces application.

Hi,
ADF mobile supports SOAP and REST services for business services access. This means that for you to work against an Oracle database, you need to create a business services that can be exposed as a service for WS DC consumption as explained in the ADF Mobile documentation. Your options are
1. EJB / JPA : Create entities from database table and then create a session facade on top. This then can be declaratively exposed as a WebService. Use the WSDL reference and start New --> WebService -> WS Data Control in your ADF Mobile project
2. ADF BC can be exposed as a Service Interface and this to ADF Mobile. To create an ADF BC service you can read the product documentation or this: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/2012/12-sep/o52adf-1735897.html

I'm having ADF/ADF Face Application (using Jdev 11.1.1.5) and want to integrate it with Oracle Fusion Middleware Audit Framework.
I want to generate audit records by using oracle.security.jps.service.audit API and also want that Audit Policy
for my Application will be visible and manageable through FusionMiddlewareControl (as well as othe admin tools)
on the same way how it is for the OPSS services for example.
Unfortunately i didn't find any detailed docs for the topics above. In the Oracle Fusion Middleware Security Guide,
it is steated only that:
"Stand-alone applications can be integrate d with the Oracle Fusion Middleware Audit Framework through configuration with the jps-config.xml file."
, but nothing in details.
Can somebody help with this, giving some more detailed info or links to the appropriate detailed documentation(if any) ?

deepak - why not link to the real documentation instead of that site that illegally publishes stuff?
Krasimir - I had a look at this a long way back, and didn't explore it much further because I reached a dead end in trying to figure out how it worked. It seems to me that the function is there and may be used internally within Oracle, but that it's not documented well enough for we mere mortals of the public to use it.
Have you tried opening an SR with Support? They won't know, but they will be able to raise it up and perhaps find someone who does know - be sure to reference this thread in your SR if you go that route.

Maybe I'm deranged the same way you were, but I have the same problem: I see the logs when the server (OpenPortal portlet Container 2.0 with Glassfish) starts, but after that, no logs are displayed in Eclipse console, and breakpoints are ignored in debug mode.
What was the issue and how did you fix it ?

I'm developing my first mobile app. I just need to build a very simple form with a few text fields and a date picker. I was wondering can I use jQuery Mobile for this? I saw an example of using jQuery Mobile with Ajax to call a web service
when user clicks Submit button and wondering if I can use that in VS 2013 Apache Cordova project.
Also, is there a way for user to define data for a couple of fields, like their user id and password for the app? How can that be done so users don't have to enter credential each time they use the app.

Problem on ADF binding with BPEL process composed as web service

I have an ADF page which has its own EO, AM and VO (view1), after I created a web service data control for an existing BPEL process and a command button for it, I found in the binding section, the view1 doesn't contain all its table column attributes, all it has is some attributes such as attributeDef, currentRow, error etc. Can you please let me know what is missing here? What I'm trying to do is bind table attributes to BPEL input variables and call the BPEL process.

and get to the Web service. You can execute it from here to see if generally this is working, or if you have a proxy problem only

I can't sync my mobile with laptop, and dialogue on android device gets stuck. Is this a bug?

I use my Ee PC notebook as the "main device" and have successfully synced with my other laptop. When I try to sync with Android Phone however, I don't get a 3 x 4 digit code that I should enter in the dialogue pop-up on the main device.
My Android also shows 3x4 dots where i´m supposed to enter the code. So, no code, and two empty 3x4 dot dialogue pop-ups.
Worse, the dialoge pop-up on my Android device gets "stuck", It does not respond to the cancel button and won't go away when I use the arrow back-button on the device.

Thank you for your reply. I tried to sync using the Sync key (by tapping "I don't have the device with me"), but again: the dialog pop-up on my android got stuck and I had to restart it.
Now I have trouble to log the bug to file it. I suppose I have to log the Android activity, since that is the device I'm having trouble with (syncing two laptops worked fine). But I have no idea were to find "about:sync-log" on my droid phone :-S

Can I integrate HTML DB with 11.5.8 applications/9.2.0.6 database

We are using Oracle applications 11.5.8.
We have 9iAS 1.0.2.2
Our database is 9.2.0.6
I see that you can use HTML DB/ application express with 9.2.0.6 database. I am unsure if i would install it in my 9iAS home or if i would install it in a new home? If it is a new home, will it use my 9iAS?

HI Angie,
I assume you are wanting to use the Apache webserver that comes with Oracle Applications. You can certainly do this, and you have two options:
1. Use the Apache that comes with the 9.2 database (in the Oracle 9.2 database home). You will configure according to the instructions in the HTMLDB installation guide. The advantage is that it is independent of the Apps webserver and you won't have to worry about Autoconfig. The disadvantage is that it will run on a different port number from your Apps mid tier.
2. Use the Apps mid-tier Apache. Again, configure according to the instructions in the HTMLDB installation guide, however you will have to be careful to include your changes in customization sections to ensure survival of the settings during Autoconfig.

Can I Integrate My Database with BC Email Functionality?

I would like to set up automated marketing so anyone who is added to our database receives a series of emails based on their creation date in the system, as well as custom parameters.
For example, anyone added to our database in the past 24 hours who just had a Yelp review would receive one email series, someone added to the database in the past 24 hours who just ran a Groupon would receive a different email series.
Is there any way to:
Link my database to my BC database so I can run scripts to import the updated contacts each night?
Create a loyalty program based off a combination of standard and custom parameters?
Please let me know if you need any clarification about anything I'm asking.

The only option I can think of on top of my head is to use our API calls to connect to your external DB to pull contact details which you can perhaps gather and import into a mailing list within BC to use for sending newsletters to.

How can I integrate my iphone with my older iMac

I have a iMac 800MHz Power PC G4 running OS 10.2.8 and my Itunes is Version 6.
The computer does not recognise my IPhone when I connect it and therefore cannot be synchronised.
