Can I load the older version of Firefox? The new version does not work with my company's software. Need prior to 3.6.24
We have some old Ariba software and later versions of the browsers make it impossible to complete the process.
Just wondering if I can download the older version of Firefox, one prior to 3.6.24.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

I have upgraded firefox 4 to firefox 5 but it does not work with real player record plugin 14.0.3......so I want to revert the upgrade to 4....please give me solution or firefox 4Go to your actual realplayer (program), click the top right button (Realplayer with an downwards arrow) and update your software. Can I get an older release of Firefox? 36.0 does not play well with Windows 7.
Firefox 36.0.4 does not play well with Windows 7. If it opens at all, it freezes within a minute so the screen goes pale and I get the classic spinning circle of death. Then the header says (not responding).
Ideally I would like to drop back to version 32 or 33, but 34 and 35 had fewer problems.

Installed new version of Firefox, now scroll wheel does not work
Installed new version of Firefox, now my scroll wheel does not work. I need this fixed immediately or will be forced to abandon Firefox as my browser. Can anyone help? I saw some Q&A on this but no definite fix. Thanks!

With the latest version of Firefox I cannot send "Quick Mails" to my students using the college's ANGEL system. I had to uninstall it and go to an earlier version. I prefer the newest rev.
Any way to run two different versions. It does not have to be simultaniously. Seems to be a problem on both my Mac and XP systems.

KimCurrently I don't think there is a way to run two version of firefox at the same time. But you can install Firefox Beta or Aurora instead (which is build for future release for firefox) and help test it! Here's the link:

New Browse does not work with NTLM proxy and Firefox
With the new uploader I cannot upload a file with Firefox and our (NTLM) company proxy. I am prompted for my password, but cannot enter it correctly for a reason.
However the normal attachment functions still works.

I have upgraded Safari in my Mac, but the new Safari does not work with my system. So I find myself without any working browser. How can I solve this problem and/or install my previous Safari version?
Reinstall Safari 5.1.10 for OS X 10.6.8: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1569. Might do the trick.
But, frankly, I don't think that simply reinstalling the old Safari will work because of all the peripheral, under the hood changes that happen when you upgrade from one version of Safari to another. Reinstalling 5.1.10 may be insufficient to turn back the clock. (This is the moment where a Time Machine or another form of full backup would save your bacon.)
While you're getting a copy of Safari 5.1.10, get a copy of Firefox (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/desktop/), too, so that you have an alternate browser to use as you're sorting matters. -
All my passwords are Norton identity safe protected. If firefox4 does not work with it I am forced to go back to IE. Previous versions had a patch. I only realized the problem after downloading the new update. I wish I never had.
Symantec need to update their Firefox add-ons so that they are compatible with Firefox 4. They have indicated that for Norton 360 they plan to release an update to Norton 360 to support Firefox 4 in early May - http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100720113635EN&ln=en_US
I do not know about the time scale for updates for other Norton products. Pending the update by Symantec, if you want to use the Norton add-ons you will need to downgrade to Firefox 3.6.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.
