Can i make an icloud account on my computer?

I have lost my ipod touch and have not got icloud to track it. How can i make an icloud account on my computer, windows 7.

What do you mean by " have not got icloud to track it"?
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing

3 ipad uses 1 apple id and 1icloud account, how can i make different icloud account so each ipad will have more icloud space?

All 3 iPads will have to share the same 5GB of free iCloud space. Buy more space if necessary.
Suggest you give different name to each iPad to prevent confusion.

Why i can't create an icloud account?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
What size does it say your back up would be.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

  • How can I access my iCloud account from my computer, when I'm running OSX Leopard?

I have a Mac Book running Leopard and I don't have the iCloud icon in my settings.. How can I access my iCloud account/back up my computer to the cloud?

Your signature says you have 10.6.8 which is Snow Leopard, but that is still not compatible with iCloud. You cannot back up your computer to iCloud in any case - it doesn't provide for that, only for iOS backups.
The minimum requirement for iCloud is Lion 10.7.5 (Mountain Lion preferred): the iCloud Preference Pane does not appear on earlier systems - the MobileMe pane appears on Lion and earlier but is non non-functional - you cannot now open or access a MobileMe account.
If you have already set up an iCloud account on another Mac or device you can make limited use of it with Snow Leopard - details here.
To make full use of iCloud you will have to upgrade your Mac to Lion or Mountain Lion, provided it meets the requirements.
    The requirements for Lion are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
    2GB of memory
    OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
    7GB of available space
To purchase it you will have to ring Apple at the number given at the bottom left of this page.
The requirements for Mountain Lion are:
    OS X v10.6.8 or later
    2GB of memory
    8GB of available space
    and the supported models are:
    iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
    Xserve (Early 2009)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
It is available from the Mac App Store (in Applications).
You should be aware that PPC programs (such as AppleWorks) will not run on Lion or above; and some other applications may not be compatible - there is a useful compatibility checklist at http://roaringapps.com/apps:table
(If in fact you are running Leopard and it is an Intel Mac you will have to upgrade to Snow Leopard to access the Mac App Store - it's available in the online Apple Store. However if you have a PPC Mac you cannot run Snow Leopard and cannot proceed further.)

  • How can I have 2 icloud accounts on one computer?

My wife and I both have Iphones and only one computer.  We were curious if it is possible to setup up two icloud accounts on the one computer?  This would be so we can have the photostream setup up on the computer so we don't always have to sign in and out of the icloud application.

Setup 2 computer user accounts, then setup iCloud in each user account.

  • Can I have 2 iCloud accounts on 1 computer

This May be a dumb question, but is it possible to create a new cloud to use for my kids and their stuff on their own devices, and for us ,parents ,to keep using our existing cloud?  We have 1 MacBook and I'm not sure if it can be synced on the 2 clouds to manage both or only 1.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
You can add two iCloud accounts on a MacBook. To do it, first set up one in System Preferences > iCloud, and to add a second one, open System Preferences > Internet Accounts (or Mail, Contacts & Calendars), press the + button and choose iCloud.
If you want to have separate data, the best solution is to create a new user for your kids in System Preferences > Users & Groups

  • Can we have two iCloud accounts on one computer

My partner and I share the MacBookPro and mostly use our iPads.  Though we sign in to two different accounts when using the Mac Book all my pictures and bookmarks show up in both accounts.  I am the only one with an iCloud account at this point.  I thought each account on the Mac was separate.

Setup 2 computer user accounts, then setup iCloud in each user account.

  • Can I run two iCloud accounts on my computer

Okay, so my office decided to link 1 icloud account to all its exsiting macs which will be a lot easier when it comes to purchasing apps to install, reminders, calendars etc. However, my manager wants his personal macbook to be connected to the office icloud as well which is connected to his iPhone and all his personal stuff, I recommended that he should not do this as there might be a conflict to his personal account and the office account, I told him to use www.icloud.com as it will still show him all the activity without messing his own personal cloud. But of course, he wants to use numbers.app rather than icloud numbers. What should I do because Im the one going to manage the account, is it possible to get the numbers files from iCould A without conflicting with contacts stored in iCloud B?

Currently, we don't have a Volume license. Basically what we need to achieve is a number of macs to have the same information particularly calendars, reminders, numbers file, and contact informations from one cloud. Without my manager's own icloud conflicting with his files or the public icloud.

  • Can i change the icloud account i've linked to my apple id?

I want to keep the same apple id but have it linked to a different icloud account.. or if I change my apple id and make a new icloud account with that, will I be able to transfer over all of my purchases/information/etc?
The problem is I let a friend try to make an icloud account on my computer and they accidentally made my intial icloud account (so the primary icloud account linked to my apple id) their username.. so although they're not using the icloud account too often, I can't send out any emails from my apple id unless it goes from their icloud account name. I have other @me.com addresses so that's all I want is to have a different PRIMARY icloud/@me.com address linked to my Apple ID.
I hope I'm not being confusing. Thank you for any help!

  • 2 iCloud accounts on one computer?

CAN YOU HAVE TWO ICLOUD ACCOUNTS ON 1 COMPUTER?

    @Sjazbec
I'm having some unexpected issues with aliases and can not wrap my head around it.
I'll try to explain what happens with my setup.
I have a [email protected] email address with iCloud.
I also made up to three aliases, with corresponding 'real names'.
Main    for myself (primary) (real name: Bob)
Alias 1 for my wife and me (real name: Bob and Chantal)
Alias 2 for my wife (real name: Chantal)
Alias 3 for online purchases (real name: Marktplaats)
What one would expect an alias to do is this:
I send someone an e-mail using an alias.
When they receive it, it shows it came from the alias address with corresponding 'real name', and that they can't examine it in some way to get my 'primary' real name or address.
Next, when they reply to my e-mail, it still shows at my receiving end, the alias address with corresponding 'real name', and not my 'primary' real name or address.
Finally, if I reply to them again, it still shows it as my alias address with corresponding 'real name'.
The thing is that it works as expected (1,2, and 3) until I reply to the e-mail that people replied to me (4).
The 'real name' changes into my 'primary' 'real name' (the e-mail address is the correct one from the alias). If I accidentally send this mail they receive an e-mail from another person. I can manually set it correct but it's an accident waiting to happen to forget to change it.
This only appears to happen on Apple Mail in Lion and not in the iCloud web interface.
Is this a bug in Apple Mail? Are my expectations for aliases to high?
Are you experiencing the same issues?
    Thanks in advance, Bob
