It will work in Canada, but if you purchase a WiFi+Cellular model I'm not sure that the warranty would be honored in Canada. If you live it Canada, it would be better to purchase your iPad there.

I am currently using a MacBook bought in Germany with Mac OS X 10.4.11 and I would like to buy an iPod in the United States as I am staying here for a long time. Can I also use this iPod classic in Germany without any restrictions? I have heard that there is some kind of feature from Apple that makes it possible not to be able to use the iPod outside the USA/with a non-american Apple device.

When I looked at Apple stores in Europe I saw they had them in Italy and UK, but not in Germany. My main issue is if AT&T is the service provider in GE. Or do they offer more options over in Europe? I am interested in buying an unlocked iPhone 4s from an authorised Apple store in NYC as the current prices in my country, Malta for an iPhone 4s is $800 with one of our service providers and its quite expensive :/. Would I have any problems if I use my local SIM card on it in Malta?The only issue you need to be aware of is warranty/support. Yours will only be valid in the US. Any issues, and you'll have to figure out how to physically return the phone, to the US, for all warranty issues...you can't mail it back.

Periodically when you purchase anything from iTunes or download a free app it reverifies your credit card. A "declined" message comes from your card issuer; iTunes Store is just a passthrough of that message. So you need to contact your issuer to resolve it. Although at the moment it sounds like the problem is with your issuer's network.

You need to be aware that it may or may not work in the UK.
If the phone does work in the UK, then you will not get any 4G coverage because the phones are not compatible.
Also be aware that you have no warranty cover for your phone in the UK - iPhone warranty is NOT international so you have to take it back to the US.
If you want an iPhone and you want to use it in the UK, then buy the phone in the UK and NOT the US. You will get 4G and also EU warranty on the phone. -

I am an American living overseas. I already have an iPhone which I bought in NY with a Verizon plan, and they unlocked it for me since I am in Ukraine most of the time. Can I buy from Apple now an iPad with is unlocked to use in the US or Ukraine? Someone said I can get it with a universal part or port. Or can I get it configured for Verizon, have them unlock it as they did for my iPhone, and use it here with a local SIMcard and just buy credit through Verizon for when I am in the States? (The SIMcard appears to be the same kind, and I can just cut down my Ukrainian card again, right?)
Not sure what iOS -- whatever is newest when I buy. Probably will be in January.

Again, you are not allowed to use the US iTunes Store from outside of the US. Nor are some of the apps you mentioned - probably not any that provide any sort of live game coverage, anyway - licensed for use outside the US and may not work elsewhere.
If you are in Brazil, the Brazilian iTunes Store is the only one you are allowed to use. There's nothing more we can say on the subject.
