Can I query WMI using Data Collection Form ZCM 11 Sp2

I'm very new to ZenWorks and I'm trying to query WMI from the Data Collection Form in an admin defined field.
I read somewhere that you can query WMI in a similar fashion to querying a registry key but not getting results.
Any help would really be appreciated.

Data Collection Form broken in ZCM 11.3.1 FRU1?

Hello Forum!
We just installed the 11.3.1 FRU1 for fixing BUG 888008 - "User login force run bundles do not run after device". Server installation didn't cause any trouble and the bug is fixed. We are happy so far.
While testing the new agent on some machines we recognized that the data collection form won't open when the user chooses the menu item on the taskbar agent icon. Unfortunatelly our users have to enter some inventory data there regulary and we can't install the new agent until this is fixed again.
So maybe we have to wait for 11.3.2 ?!? Is anybody out there with same problem?

Unable to parse query when using dblink in forms 4.5

Hi,
I have created a query that uses a DBlink because I need to do query on a table located on another dbase. I've used the query on creating my report using Reports 6i. The report needs to be called from a menu on our system, which was developed under Developer 2000 (forms 4.5). The problem is, when I tried to access the report from the menu, it returns the error 'unable to parse query'. What I did after getting error was to create a dummy module using Forms 6i, and call my report from there. It worked fine.
By the way, the table that I'm accessing using the dblink is under Oracle 9i dbase, and the dbase of the system that I've been working at is Oracle 8i.
I don't have any idea on what's causing this error. Is there a compatibility issue when using a dblink located in Oracle 9i database with forms 4.5?

Not sure if it is the good answer, but I know that Forms does not recognize dblink and owner.object syntax. You have to create a simple synomym that point to the distant object and use this synonym within Forms.

I need to input some fixed asset information from FI-AA master data in a data input form and route through a workflow process before finally update the asset master data. Does anyone does something similar before? Is it technically possible? Is there any guide available here.

Can "Common Project" be used for collecting AP Invoices?

Hello Gurus,
I have a question regarding Project Manufacturing and Project Costing.
In the PJM Organization Parameters setup, you can define a Common Project
to collect cost in PA module as expenditures for non-project related transactions.
Does this functionality work for importing non-project related AP Supplier Invoices as expenditures?
Or does this "Common Project" functionality only work for costs that are collected via Cost Collection Manager batch?
We are on R12.1.3 environment.

Answer: Please be informed, supplier invoices or expense report created in AP if assocaited to a project, will be eligible to be interfaced to PA as new expenditure items.
If any supplier invoices or expense reports are created in AP and is not associated to a projects, it is not eligible to be interfaced to PA and it is termed as non project invocies, hence the same will be not shown as cost against the project in PA.

I have a form in Forms Central that is collecting data and I want to take the data and merge the fields into a pdf document with merge fields. Then send the completed merged pdf to someone else automatically?

How do I create a form using data collected from a previously completed form?

I need my users to fill in an initial registration form with a range of details. Six months or so later I need to ask the users to confirm the details and also fill in new information. Is there a way I can have the second form be automatically populated with the initial form information so they only have to fill in the new information. I need all the information to be stored in the one database. Thanks

Using data collected on a form and updating a database

I have created a form using Lifecycle Designer ES 8.2 to allow users to populate with information and send it to a central control point. I would like to take the information from the pdf form and then allow the user at the control point to update database tables in either an Oaracle or SQL Server Database using ODBC connectivity.
Does anyone have knowledge of how best to make this work?

backup the device and restore it as new.
If you already have or don't need a backup:
Erase your device
Erasing all content and settings will delete all the data from your device, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, calendar information, and any other data. All device settings are restored to their factory condition.
To remove all settings and information from your device, tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. For more information about this feature, see iOS: Understanding 'Erase All Content and Settings'.
If you are unable to erase your device, restore the device using iTunes.

Problems with query that uses date as filter .

I have an application and it's have a form automatically generated by Apex, through a View. That view use instead of triggers to update , insert and delete, because the view use many tables..
But always that I run a query using filters, setting a period of date, some dates show data, but the majority not, even if they have data on the database.
I even looked for the datas in the table on Object's Browser and filter by the dates that has the problem and they showed the values registered on these dates.
But I don't have a idea why it doesn't show these values when I run the query.
Exemple of query used : select * from coresp where data_2 between '22/05/09' and '22/05/09';
this query return two lines, but in object's browser return more than 100 lines .

You need to make sure that SQL knows that these are dates by using the TO_DATE() function:

BTW why do you want to migrate oracle database data to db2 database? Any specific project requirement like Parallel run with Oracle database (e.g data replication)? Or any other issues - Cost? Manageability? Availability? Business requirements?
Do you need to do a day-to-day data transfer or it is for permanent migration?

Depending on how you execute both the queries there's a small chance date value comparison may not wok as expected as datetime also has timepart until milliseconds precision. So if you want to retrieve details on records inserted and updated you may use
something like below

Is it too much to ask that a Mac user can just OPEN and USE a PDF form created by LiveCycle Designer PC software?!?

My problem is just that- I have created all my forms using LiveCycle Designer because it is easier to make the forms accessible to individuals with disabilities. Apparently it doesn't make Mac users have access to the forms. I've received complaints from Mac users that cannot complete or submit the forms that I created. I'm not asking how to recreate using another software, I know how to do that. I'm asking is there a work around to allow a Mac user to open a PDF form or even XML (bedded within an HTML page) on a Mac computer WITHOUT having to use bootcamp, parallels, etc. and be able to complete the form and submit, print or email it????? I've exhausted all my knowledge on this thus far and I'm hoping to find something that will help. So far all forums talk about how Mac users need to have a PC side to their computer. Isn't there another way?
