Can I remove the Faces part of iPhoto in Lion 10.7.2?

I have been transfering phots using DVD disks to a new iMac.
Regrettably there are some 22,000 photos and the iMac has made 1000s of individual faces that I do not want.
Can I remove or block Faces from creating faces?

Thanks very much for your reply and the link.
If I understand the link correctly it is telling me to get my corkboard on the screen. This shows 5 faces in line.
Then to highlight a face - a small circled x appears in the top LH corner.
Then press together Command and delete.
Sadly nothing happens!
More advice would be greatly appreciated!?

In general, you can only roll back an upgrade to a library with a back up. No back up, no roll back.

Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default. You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, EasyFind, instead.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.
There are many utilities that can uninstall applications. Here is a selection:

How do I permanently REMOVE the Face Recognition program in Windows 8.1?

I want to Uninstall, permanently REMOVE, the Face Recognition program from Windows 8.1. When I select this program from the list of all programs displayed, I am not given an "uninstall" option, only the option to "change", which
then begins to install. I was able to uninstall once before, but somehow the program was placed back onto my computer and now the "uninstall" option is no longer available. Thanks!

Have you tried the solution as MVP Cyber_Defend_Team mentioned?
Do this program preinstalled? If yes, we need to contact the manufacturer to receive better support.
If my understanding is right, you uninstalled it once, but the program was back and only the option to ‘change’.
Could you please provide us a screenshot to avoid misunderstanding if you willing to?
Can you run the program? If the program runs in the startup, we could use the tool System Configuration (msconfig) to disable apps or services that normally run at startup.

Removing the face identification squares?

I ran the facial recognition software on all my photos, not realizing the several thousand faces that would be identified, and then subsequently gone through and labeled. I would like to remove all the "face squares" from the photos, but as can be seen by this request for help, I have not been successful. I have created a new catalog, and deleted the old, I have removed all the photos from the program, and I uninstalled and reinstalled. When the photos are reintroduced, however, the “face squares” are still automatically there. Permanently, it seems. I’m assuming the information then is now either in the picture files or attached to the photos themselves. I’ve not been able to discover anything with Google or Bing, but it may be a matter of just not using the correct search words. With that context, Is there a way to remove the face identification squares?

Assuming that you are talking about PSE 11, to hide the face squares, go to the View menu and uncheck People Recognition.
If you want to stop People recognition in the future go to Edit -> Preferences -> Media-analysis and uncheck the option there.

I can't see the "Faces" page. I can see each face when i click on it, and i can change the person by clicking the arrow on the top right corner, but I can't see all the faces together. When I try to do so, iphoto explains me how to use the faces recognition, like when I opened it for the first time.
(I already tried to delete the iphoto.plist...)

Sorry for the delayed response. Have you configured your weblogic instance for jrf (ADF libraries) if so, you should be able to deploy the thin ear fine. If not you need to deploy the thick ear.

I don't think I have made myself clear... I have recently upgraded my iPhone 4 to a 5 so everything was set up to sync with no problems at all. I transferred everything across to my new device by iCloud and everything appears as it was on my old device including on the face of it my music library. However, I cannot play all of the songs in fact the majority! When at home I can access the entire library via home sharing but that is no use away from the house. I never had this problem with iPhone 4 and although I am automatically syncing the device to iTunes it is not working. If I try to play songs via the device it skips until it finds a song that cAn be played and if I try and play the device via the laptop/iTunes an ! Type signal appears and I cannot play the song!
Any ideas re solutions would be appreciated???

wa_fieldcat-fieldname = 'FWAER'.
wa_fieldcat-seltext_l = text-023.
wa_fieldcat-no_zero = 'X'.
APPEND wa_fieldcat TO i_fieldcat.
CLEAR wa_fieldcat.

In SQL Server / T-SQL we don't have a native JSON support, so you would have to implement a solution on your own = parsing the string and remove the "Key" + it's value.
