Can I scan with Photoshop CC 2014 on a PC?

I just installed Photoshop CC 2014 on my PC (Windows 7, Pentium processor). Is there a way for me to scan photos with this software? That's why I subscribed. Now I'm wondering if Adobe Scanning is only available for Macs.

Windows: First install your scanner and have it turned on and ready to go,
To scan into Photoshop, File menu > Import > WIA Follow the steps.
Mac: Photoshop File > Import > Images from Device
Select your scanner > Flatbed

Thanks for responding. Windows Vista - installed Flash Player 11 - no change -
updated all drives on HP PSC 2355 scanner - no change - added twain 24 bit
because read that 48 was not compatible with cs6 - no change.
Basically, when I go file - import - I should see the option WIA -HP PSC 2350
and it is not there which tells me my scanner is not integrated with cs6 as it
was with cs3.
Any ideas?

Why can't I download Photoshop CC(2014) and why does my Creative cloud app show updates for CC(2014) products I do not have?

Why can't I download Photoshop CC(2014) to my Mac Pro desktop running OSX 10.9.3. My Creative Cloud app shows updates for all apps that I have as CS6 on my desktop but I have only subscribed to Photoshop CC. Lightroom shows Install but it is installed. Trying to Install Photoshop CC(2014) results in and error message "Installation failed Errors encountered during installation.(7) more information.
More information gives Exit Code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For Example, ERROR:

I also cannot directly download from my account on the web. This has been going on for a week or more and I have tried numerous suggestions on the forums but got nowhere. I uninstalled Creative Cloud app today but could not find the installer again so I assume that was deleted. I cannot download that now as on Adobe's site it says we are experiencing problems. Aren't we all.
I was happy with CC until last week but now cannot recommend it.
I also have a Macbook Pro retina and Photoshop CC(2014) downloaded no problem on that.

Is Print Studio Pro Compatible with Photoshop CC 2014

I recently acquired a Pixima Pro 100 and am attempting to install Print Studio Pro so that it can be accessed in Photoshop CC 2014. When I attempt to install, it will find and install in Lightroom and Photoshop CC. However, it does not find and install in Photoshop CC 2014. I have attempted to uninstall Photoshop CC with the hope that it would find Photoshop CC 2014. But it does not. Does any know how to install Print Studio Pro so that it will find Photoshop CC 2014? Hi Debra, Thanks for writing. What I have learned is that Print Studio Pro is not set up to recognized Photoshop CC (2014). I happened to have still retained Photoshop CC in my computer. The installer did recognize Photoshop CC and was installed. In another forum, a user suggested that I copy the plug-in Print Studio Pro from Photoshop CC to the plug-in directory on Photoshopy CC (2014). That worked. Now I have access to Print Studio Pro in Photoshop CC 2014. Cheers, Don Barar

Scanning with Photoshop Elements 12

I recently updgaded from Elements 9 to Elements 12, but the Import pick is greyed out in the File menue in 12. I can still scan in 9 and my everything has been upgraded for OSX 10.9 (Mavericks). Where exactly should the Twain plug in reside to make it work?

I did this and restarted the computer but still nothing. I tried 9 afterword and it still works, but no doubt added these deleted paths back. I'm stumped. Sorry for being a nuisance. I don't suppose it should be this hard. Jumping around and fixing this and then that makes it difficult to know if something is being missed or still needs to be done and then there is the possible issue of accomplishing all this in a certain order.

You will want to go to your username>library>preferences and delete
com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist

Hello. I am running Photoshop CC 2014 on a MAC with OSX LION. I also have Photoshop CS6 installed. When I double-click on a file in Bridge CC, it always opens in CS6. If I say "OPEN WITH Photoshop CC 2014", or if I drag the file directly to CC 2014 in the Dock it will open in CC. Since I like to double-click or hit return in the bridge, I am constantly having to wait until the file opens in CS6, quit CS6 an then open it another way to get it into Photoshop CC 2014. I tried to disable CS6 by hiding it, but then double-clicking Bridge did nothing. Any ideas why this is happening?

Check and adjust the File Type Associations in the bridge cc preferences.

(ASE) files, but you can copy/paste HEX values from kuler into

I can't print with Photoshop cs6.

I can't print with Photoshop (CS6). My printer (HP iP6700D) works correct with every program, except Photoshop. When I choose File>Print, there appears only an error-message. And the command-line turns into grey.

In the meanwhile I detected the problem. I made a new user account in windows and now it works correctly. So it isn't a photoshop problem but probably a register error. I have to find out furtherThanks for your reaction.

Why can't I associate jpegs with Photoshop CC 2014?

I just loaded the 2014 version of Photoshop CC 2014 and I removed the old version first. My file associations seem to be ok except for with jpegs. When I try to set a custom association Photoshop isn't available and so I browse and choose the exe file and it still won't show up as an option. I'm on Win 7 64. Does anyone know how to fix this. FYI, I have already uninstalled and reinstalled and that didn't work.

So it looks like Manage Extensions has been moved under InDesign on the menu bar. I launched it and it installed the Extension Manager.
I rebuilt my InDesign preferences and got what must've been a suppressed Startup Alert
Anyone happen to know how I can reinstall these plugins?

I'm stil using Photoshop CS3, but I would like to update to Photoshop CS 2014. I installed the trial version, but I don´t find a way how I could use my scanner (Canon CanoScan 4400F). Works fine with CS3.
