Can I sync SkyDrive on my PC with my MacBook Pro?

Trying to share documents between my PC's and my Macs using SkyDrive.  I can do it fine on my iPhone but not my MacBook Pro.  I can't find any way to get SkyDrive on my MacBook; it's not in the App Store.

Go to…

… login with your account details and you can download the SkyDrive application from there.

    Hi Michela27,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If you have content on your iPhone that isn't on your computer, the best thing is to use the advice in this article to transfer it to your new computer before setting up sync:

    Welcome to the Apple community.
If you are referring to the first generation Apple TV, then you cannot sync content which is stored on its hard drive back to iTunes.

  • How can I sync the contacts from outlook on my macbook pro with my iPhone

My iPhone 5 is backing up on iCloud and my music, etc is syncing through iTunes (11.4) on my MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3 but my calendar and contacts from Outlook 2011 are not syncing.  Does anyone know which settings I may need to change?  I have updated my operating system to OS X 10.9.4 and iTunes.

You'll need to find a way to export your Outlook contacts and calendar to Apple's Contacts and Calendar applications. There are some paid software apps that can do this but I don't know of any free way other than exporting each event/contact individually. Outlook 2011, when it first came out, synced well with iCal and Address Book (or whatever it was called) but that's no longer the case... maybe when Office for Mac 2014 comes out?
Sorry that I don't have an answer to what seems to be a common problem.

  • How can I sync my iPhone 4S contacts to my Macbook Pro?

I just bought the iPhone 4S. I want to sync my contacts from the iPhone to my Macbook. However, I already sync someone else's iPhone to my macbook. How can I assure that these two different list of contacts do not merge? Thank You!

As your MacBook only has one Address Book, you're going to end up with merged contacts if you sync two devices (whether you sync with iTunes or iCloud).  About all you could do is set up two contact groups within Address Book to allow separate views of the merged contact list.  Disable contacting in iTunes and sync your contacts with another service if you want them to be separate (such as Google sync http://support.google.com/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=138740).

  • How can I sync my notes from iPhone 3GS to MacBook Pro?

How can I sync my Notes from the iPhone 3GS running IOS 6.0.1 to my MacBook Pro running OSX 10.8.2?

The most straightforward way (assuming your iPhone 3GS is running iOS 6, which it should be) is to use iCloud to house your contacts.
Then it would be trivial to have your contacts synced and maintained between your MacBook Pro and your iPhone.
P.S.:  Sorry, I said contacts but meant notes.  iCloud would work for both.

  • Can't log into The Cloud Wifi with Retina Macbook Pro

    Hi there,
I've researched this extensively online but haven't found a solution so far.
Usually, when logging into The Cloud on my iPad Air or iPhone 4S at locations like Caffe Nero, I have no problem connecting: I connect in the device's settings, and then when opening the browser, reach the The Cloud landing page which lets me log on and properly use the Wifi.
The other day I tried doing this with my brand-spanking-new Macbook Pro with Retina (mid-2014), and the landing page just wouldn't show up. So I couldn't log on; internet-enabled apps weren't working and I only had very limited access to Google. I tried both Safari and Chrome and refreshed multiple times.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd hugely appreciate it! Thanks!

    Hi there.
I can't help you unfortunately, but I have exactly the same problem. My macbook air mid 2012 used to connect to the Cloud wifi, like my iPhone 5 and iPad 2 still do no problem via the login landing page, but now though the bar at the top of my screen shows me connected, I don't get taken to the landing page (and I can't get there by manually feeding its address in either) and hence can't connect to the internet.
If you do get a resolution I'd obviously be very interested.
Sorry I can't help, but you're not alone with this problem.

  • Can't set up Airport base stations with new MacBook Pro

i have a brand new, late-2013 15" MacBook Pro running Mavericks. my attempts, using this machine, to set up my sixth-generation, 802.11ac Airport Extreme and my brand-new, whatever-generation 802.11n Airport Express purchased yesterday at an Apple Store (that means it's the current generation, with the power cord) - these attempts all fail with Airport Utility saying it's joining the base station for about a minute and a half, after which it stops trying and says, "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again."
i can set up both of those base stations effortlessly with my iPhone.
furthermore, i seem to be able to use this MacBook Pro to set up my fifth-generation, 802.11n Airport Extreme just fine - even when it's all the way across the house and my attempts to set up the sixth-generation one, which is a foot away from my MBP, are failing.
why can i set these devices up with my iPhone and not with the newest, best, fastest, fanciest, most powerful laptop Apple makes?
    thank you.

    mmm...okay. thank you, Bob.
for now, i've got the base stations configured via my iPhone, and once configured, my MBP can see and use them just fine. it just irks the **** out of me that my brand-new top-of-the-line MacBook Pro can't handle this simple task, and should have to use a wired connection to set up my base stations (how archaic!). it may be the only device i have with me one day when i want to set up an Airport base station (okay, that's unlikely, but it's the principle of the thing, dammit).
are we sure this is a matter of bugs in Mavericks, and not a hardware problem with my MBP or something?
    many thanks.
