Can I transfer a book I have downloaded onto my Mac in error? I purchased a book meant for ipad only. Silly me. Could I for example transfer it to my wifes ipad - if so - where would I find it on my Mac.

Mac OS X 10.9 can read the book. Do you have that?

Hi Margie,
If you and your daughter sync your devices to the same iTunes Library, then you can download your iBooks to any of your devices that are sync'd to that library.
Your daughter would just need to hook her iPad up to the computer where the Library is located, and go to the Books tab and select that book to be sync'd. Then do the sync.

With VoiceOver on a voice speaks the names of items that you touch on the screen, and you have to use different gestures to get around. This may make it feel like you're "locked out" of your phone.
To turn VoiceOver off you have to go to Settings>General>Accessibility>VoiceOver>Off. With VoiceOver on you have to flick the screen with three fingers to scroll, and to activate an item on the screen you have to tap an item once to select it, then double-tap it to activate it. You can also turn it off by connecting your phone to iTunes, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings, Click Configure Universal Access (under Options), then under Seeing select Neither.

There are many ways to import your PDFs into Papers for iPad. Obviously the preferred way is if you have a Mac and also use Papers for Mac**. The two apps can wirelessly sync their libraries. Thank you for your reply Domingo. Your suggestion worked as far as sending me a link to buy the book at iTunes. But it did not allow me to download the book from my wife's account. I did finally get an answer from Apple. It took an entire day of emailing back and forth and the final answer was relatively easy once Apple finally decided to give up the solution. Basically, you have to open ibooks and sign out. Then you have to sign into ibooks using the book purchaser's Apple ID and password. Then you can download the book onto your device. Not too bad, huh? It only took a whole day of Apple people sending me wrong instructions before they figured it out. Geez. What a disappointing experience.

If your Nokia comes with some sort of software that you can sync with Adddressbook or something else, or can export as comma or tab delimated then you do that then import that file into address book on your mac.

If the books are in the iBooks app on your phone then you should be able to copy them over to your computer's iTunes (and then to the iBooks app if you have Mavericks on your Mac) via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases

I have a sony HDR-SR5 camcorder and need to empty the iternal hard-drive. I have downloaded onto Picture Motion Browser and woud like to know if this will have stored all of the data on the hard-drive so can go back and edit later.

I have a Sony HDR-SR5 camcorder with a 40GB internal hard-drive. I need to clear the hard-drive as it's almost full. I have managed to download the footage onto Picture Motion Browser, but am wondering whether PMB will have stored all the info from the camcorder hard-drive so that I can edit later.
Also, I would like to back-up on another hard-drive, but when I have tried this I can't view the footage stored on the hard-drive so am not sure whether I have backed up sufficiently and in what format? If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful...
