Can i transfer a itunes match subscription to another itunes account?

I need to know if it is possible to transfer a itunes match subscription to another itunes account. I have it on an account that the email got a virus and i NEED to transfer it for security reasons.

Just to add - email accounts themselves don't get viruses.   You could get emails within the account that have viruses, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the email account itself is compromised and needs to be deleted.  Hopefully all you need to do is eradicate the affected emails, and maybe update your email password if you feel that's necessary as well as verify that your Windows(?) system is not infected, and that's it.
If you're unsure what's going on, you might want to contact your email provider first for assistane.

  • Can I transfer my Creative Cloud subscription to another Adobe account?

    Hello,
How do I transfer my account to another email address that already has an Adobe account? We are a business and have a Creative Cloud subscription setup to a specific email address. We want to transfer this license to another employee as the existing one was laid off.  How do we go about doing this?
    Thanks!

    Hi JimmytheBullet,
If you are a Creative Cloud for Team user then you can simply remove the user from Admin console and invite another to be the team member. If it is Creative Cloud individual subscription then I am sorry to say but you cannot transfer the account to another.
    regards,

  • How can I transfer creative cloud photography subscription to another adobe account

My son bought CC Photography subscription for me on my last birthday.  He did it on his account and has been making the monthly payments.  I would like to take over the subscription on my own Adobe account.  That is, I would like to be able to transfer ownership without having to reinstall Lightroom and Photoshop.  Any way to do this?

John, thank you for your reply.  However, I went to that link and followed out several of the many branches.  They all led me to "Forum" as the only contact option (including "Still need help? Contact us").  So apparently Adobe would prefer that I rely on other customers who may have similar experiences.  I really would rather start a chat with Adobe support, but so far that does not appear to be an option.  Is there another forum group that would be more appropriate for finding assistance for my issue?

  • I am concerned about the health of my current computer but have not yet made the commitment to a new one, but: 1) How can I transfer my iTunes account to a new computer when I get one... and 2) What can I do if my current computer suddenly implodes and I

    I am a bit of a computer/Internet/iTunes dummy....
I am concerned about the health of my current computer but have not yet made the commitment to a new one, but:
    1) How can I transfer my iTunes account to a new computer when I get one...
    and
    2) What can I do if my current computer suddenly implodes and I have not yet 'copied/'saved'/otherwise protected my account, as is? -- I have already had my computer crash once and had one of your people help me restore all of the paid for songs (none of the uploaded from my own collection of CD songs, of course, so I had to spend a long time rebuilding that) -- and I believe I was told you could only help me recover that material one or two times altogether, no?
WithOUT purchasing a Mach or iCloud (I actually think I have one of the later, but rarely have checked it) account, is there anything I can do to responsibly protect my account?
Thanks for any time taken on this!!!

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
    Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
    Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should  merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

  • HT4759 How can I transfer an iTunes Account?

    Hi,
How can I transfer an existing iTunes account to a new MacBook Pro.
I still have all of my audiobooks, music, podcast on my iPhone 4S.
I have access to the hard drive that I had my original iTunes stored.
If I sync my iPhone with my new MacBook Pro, iTunes wants to erase my Phone.
    Any Help is appreciated.
    Thanks, Bob

Connect that hard drive to your computer and drag that iTunes library to the new computer's internal drive or launch iTunes with the Option key held down and navigate to the library on it.

  • How can i transfer my iTunes account to my new mac from my old pc

I have an iPod classic and my itunes account was on my old pc.  How do I transfer my account to my Mac and sync my iPod without loosing all my playlists?

Your account is just  a user name and password.
It sounds like you want to move your itunes library.
The Apple Store will do this for you.
or you can call Apple Support and they will help.
or type "move itunes library from pc to mac" into the google search bar.

  • Can you transfer between itunes accounts using home sharing

I am wanting buy an Ipad 2 as a present and pre load some apps for them on it. Ill have to sync it to my itunes account to do this. so how do i go about ensuring what i have downlaoded doesnt get lose when they then use their itunes account? Would having to 2 accounts on one computer help?

Apps are locked to the iTunes Store account under which they were purchased and cannot be transferred to another account. Unless the recipient of this gift will be living with you or is someone who you would trust with your iTunes Store account ID and password, preloading the iPad won't be practical since, without your iTunes Store account information, anything you load on the iPad will be erased when the recipient syncs it to their computer. You can gift the apps, if you wish, which would allow the recipient to download the apps through his or her own iTunes Store account. Or you can give an iTunes card along with the iPad and let the person choose their own apps.
    Regards.

  • How can i transfer my itunes account from one mac to another?

I would like to transfer my itune library from my work computer to my home computer including apps that have nbeen downloaded..
    Any help?

iTunes: How to move [or copy] your music to a new computer [or another drive] - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527
Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings:  Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive.  Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the new location of the library.

  • How can I transfer my itunes account from a computer that I no longer can access?

I originally set my Itunes accounts onto a PC that no longer works and cannot get access to it. I have a new PC, but cannot figure out how to access my Itunes account with my library onto the new PC.

Did you put your library there?
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy, not good, then you can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries:

  • HT1977 Can you transfer your iTunes account to a new computer?

I've got a new pc and want to Sync my iPhone to it.  The problem is, I can't access my previous apps, music, playlists, etc. because they're saved on the old (out of memory) laptop. I turned on Home Share, but I only see my music, not the apps and movies, etc.

Click here and pick the option which best fits your situation.

  • HT1848 Can I transfer $ from iTunes account to FaceBook for credits to use when playing CandyCrush Saga?

Hi! I received an iTunes gift card, and redeemed it on the iTunes web site.. I would like to use the points as FaceBook credits to use when playing CandyCrusk saga.. How do I do that?

It's reallly not an iTunes issue, per se, but rather how the game works. If they store your credits on a server somewhere, such as Game Center or Facebook, they may allow you to keep track of game progress and use such credits on multiple devices. But that's something you need to ask of the developer of the game. In most cases, in-app purchases of consumable items such as credits, coins, etc. cannot be used on more than one system.

How can I transfer all iTunes purchases from one apple id to another?

Don't agree. I have two accounts, one for work which I set up years ago and bought a few tracks. I've recently bought iPhone and iPad and created a home ID and wanted to transfer the old purchaces. Everyone says it can't be done, but I've done it.
    1. on the iPhone/iPad change your "store" Apple ID to the one you want ot transfer from.
    2. go into iTune on the device and download the purchaces.
    3. on you PC/Mac change the iTunes login to the same as the device's ID
    4. sync your device
    5. change both ID's back and the purchaces stay on both iTunes and your device.
    Delmar,
The procedure you describe is putting content from two different IDs into a single library, which can readily be done.
However, each item of purchased content will still be tied to the ID from which it was originally purchased, and they will be treated separately for purposes of Cloud, Match, Purchase History, etc.
