Can I transfer music from my iPad to my iPod nano without a laptop?

I do not seem to be able to transfer music between Apple products. Both my iPad and my iPod nano have a lightening fitting but there do not seem to be any lightening to lightening cables around in order to transfer from my iPad to my iPod? I'm downloading music to my iPad from iTunes, yet I am unable to put these on my iPod which, as a dance teacher, is extremely frustrating. I've tried switching on the Bluetooth on both products to see if this works and it does not. I do not currently have a laptop, so please can someone advise as to whether I can actually share the music that I've paid for between my devices? I really hope so.

You cannot transfer music directly between your iPad and iPod nano.
To do what you want you need a computer.
When you have one, sync both devices to the same iTunes running on that computer. This will also backup both your devices which you should do regularly anyway.

No since you can only sync with one computer.
    To switch syncing computers:

how can i download music from my computer to my ipod nano without erasing music already there?

If the music you are wanting to have on your iphone was purchased through itunes you can then go to your front display to settings>itunes and app store from there you have a toggled switch that allows you to automatically download music and apps by toggling the switch. You will need to toggle the switch below these switchs that allows for cellular data to be enabled if this has not already been enabled. This then will automatically download music and apps directly to your device with no additional charge to you.
    Good luck.

Plug your iPad into a computer with iTunes.
    Transfer the music over.
Plug your nano into the same computer-move the music onto it.

How can I transfer music from my iPhone to my iPad.?
I no longer have a PC. Mine died and cannot be restored. It had iTunes with my entire music library on it.

If you are running an OS of 5.0 or higher, you should be able to use the iCloud to sync both devices together & share music.

  • How can I transfer music from old mini to new iPod nano?

Can you transfer music from your iPad to your iPhone?

    Yes.

FYI .. both the iPad and iPhone must be using the same Apple ID in order to transfer iTunes purchases.

Hi the question I have is. Can I put music from my IPad to my iPod?

Not directly no, you will need to sync it via your computer's iTunes. If they are iTunes purchases which are not yet on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to copy them over your computer via File > Transfer Purhcases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases if you have iTunes on your computer)

  • How can I transfer music from my iPad to my iPhone without using a computer/iTunes?

Disclaimer:  I am actually asking this for a family member, but I don't have an answer for her either.
My family member has an iPad with music on it currently.  This music is music bought from iTunes and music bought from other sources.
Her computer died a few months ago and she does not intend on replacing it.
She just bought an iPhone and would like to copy the music from her iPad to her new iPhone.
I had originally thought that iTunes Match would work for this, but the Apple Support article regarding iTunes Match (iTunes Store: Subscribing to iTunes Match) suggests that it requires a computer w/ iTunes to do the initial update.
I'm willing to consider approaches from either, Apple or third-party.
If it helps, her iPad and iPhone are both running iOS 7.

    The answer is, "you don't".
Music other than that purchased from the iTunes store had to be synced to the device using iTunes on a computer. The media should still exist on that computer. She can use the computer to sync the music to the new device.
An iPad or iPhone is NOT a backup device. In order to set it up to sync to a new computer were she to replace hers, the media on the device would have to be erased before anything could be synced to it. Media synced to the device can not be synced back to a computer (without purchasing 3rd party software). Without a computer and iTunes, it's not possible to transfer media from one iDevice to another, even with 3rd party software.

  • Can I transfer music from my iPad to my iPhone 5c and how?

I transferred music from my pc to my iPad last year. I no longer have my pc but recently got an iPhone 5c and would like to transfer my music to it. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

There is no way to transfer the music from the iPad to the phone. If the music was purchased from iTunes, you can download it again from the purchased tab in the iTunes app, as long as you use the same Apple ID. You will not be charged again if you download the songs again on the phone.
If the music was ripped from CD's, then you need a third party app but you will still need a computer to move the music to the computer and then sync it to the phone using iTunes.
    look at this.
