As long as your Sensor Settings are On within Menu, Settings, Phone, Sensor Settings then you just need to do the following -
Tapping
The tap function allows you to quickly
mute and reject calls and alarm tones, and
to display a clock just by double-tapping
the back or front of the phone when the
slide is closed.
Select Menu > Settings > Phone >
Sensor settings to activate the tap
function and vibration feedback.
Mute calls or alarms
Double-tap the phone.
Reject a call or snooze an alarm after
muting it
Double-tap the phone again.
Display the clock
Double-tap the phone.
(If you have missed calls or received new
messages, you must view them before you
can see the clock.)
Simply, if you double tap the screen when the slide is closed and you can see the clock appear then it is working.

Can any one shared me some information about Data Usage in Nokia X as i want to save Mobile data. Is there any option to restrict other applications to use mobile data. (for example, i am using WhatsApp and Facebook in my mobile but most of the data is used by Facebook so i want so rescrict facebook to not using mobile data and want Whatsapp to use).
Please Suggest me on this.

What you can do is..
Go to settings>>Data Counter>>
Now select facebook...And scroll down..
Just Check the box...Restrict Background Data..
And its done..
Do it for all app which you dont Use...and save more data..

Maps can be used offline to avoid data charges, however the following will not be available in Offline Mode:
View Satellite maps
View Terrain maps
Search the latest address/POI database
Real-time Traffic and Safety updates
Share your status, photos and location to your Facebook profile (Maps 3.03 Only)
Get Weather forecasts
See local event info from WCities (Maps 3.03 Only)
Access Lonely Planet city guides (Maps 3.03 Only)
Access the Michelin restaurant guide (Maps 3.03 Only)
Synchronize your locations with Ovi Maps on the internet
You can switch between Online and Offline mode by going to the Maps Settings and:
Select Internet
Select Connection or Go Online at Start-up
Please Note: Switching between Online and Offline mode in Maps will not prevent data charges through the use of positioning settings such as AGPS and WiFi/Network positioning. These will need to be turned off in the Positioning Settings on your device. Please see your device manual for more information.

Can't use my purchased credit - Nokia Xpressmusic ...

In music store I purchased a credit of 25 €. The purchase is displayed as "Last Purchase" and "Pay € 25, get €27", but I can't use it. When I'd like to buy music I'm always asked to pay again. The amount of credit shown at my account wasn't increased by the purchased credit.

This a user forum. Nothing can be done here.
You should be able to contack Adobe Support and get a roll back of the number of installs for each paid for license. You should have two.
If you have no record of the download, the serial number or anything else, you may be in for a purchase!

Planet 3 not working on nokia e90 communicator

Can anyone help me? I have a sim free e90 communicator and I have put in the settings for 3 Ireland. I can surf the web but I cannot get planet 3 working.

You won't be able to get it working.
Planet 3 is only available on three branded handsets. They block all access to users of sim free handsets.
It's a sneaky tactic that they use and there is no way around it on an E90 as three don't sell this model.

I want to sync from desktop Firefox to my android browser, NOT the mobile firefox; I can't use mobile firefox. Is there any way to do this?

I want to synch my bookmarks to my Android phone, but nothing I've tried works. Gmarks doesn't work. Xmarks doesn't work, Firefox Snych doesn't work (I am NOT installing Mobile Firefox because it won't work with my phone).
IS there any way I can upload my Firefox contacts to Google Contacts and then synch my Google Contacts to my android's browser? (I mean the default browser, not Firefox).

All the apps I see in the "Play" app store for importing bookmarks have pretty bad reviews. What do you think about hosting your bookmarks online and accessing them by loading that page? It is an extra step but might be a useful workaround in the short run. Of course, finding a site that works well also could be a challenge...

When you say Firefox contacts, do you mean the ones in a particular webmail site? Or Thunderbird?

No. Its not possible to do that. However you can use the computer speaker to play the files on the phone via bluetooth.

What plan are you on? More Everything plans have hotspot included except for the discounted single line plans.

Nokia E90: URGENT!! Bluetooth Modem

I have recently bought a Nokia E90 model. I have installed the PC Suite (latest version) also. I can browse the internet when I connect my phone to my PC via the USB cable. I can also connect my PC to the phone through bluetooth. But I CANNOT BROWSE the internet through bluetooth.

I haven't seen a 777 error for nearly 10 years & it usually means that you have the wrong modem drivers installed. I assume you're suffering from Windoze XP? The latest version of PC Suite should include the cable modem driver and you might solve your problem by uninstalling then reinstalling the software; if you don't have the latest version of PC Suite you should download and install it before trying again. You could try installing the cable driver on its own, I believe this is the one you want.
Before you start messing about with drivers, it's probably a good idea to delete the DUN connection that you created as XP is easily confused and could bind the COM port to a non-functional connection and prevent you from binding it to one that works. XP has also been known to bind more than one COM port to a modem, it's worth checking there isn't a "Nokia E90 Communicator USB Modem #2 (COMXX)" that already works.
If this solves the problem, let us know. If it doesn't, then I'll need a little more information:
What OS are you running? (Just guessing it's XP).
Which mobile provider are you with? (Certain settings are operator specific).
Can you access the phone through PC Suite (SMS, Contacts, file management)? If not, your cable might be fractured & need replacing.

It is most suitable for the Mocha/Brown cased E90.
Problem of compatibilty with other S60 phones is the large E90 display stretches and distorts some themes.
You might find one that is OK here.

Hi, i use a free sit to download wallpapers, screensavers and themes.
Can i use themes for a Nokia 6085 with my 3110 classic as i think they use the same operating system or software and the screens are the same etc, thanx.

I know for a fact there is no Mac version of Act. You'd have to contact the authors of Centerpiece to see if they make a Mac version.
If not, then the answer to both is no.
