CAN NO LONGER PRINT FROM PAGES SINCE UPDATING
Just updated macbook running snow leopard it is now 10.6.8
and pages wont allow me to print documents
have tried some of the answers others have provided but to no avail
the printer drivers are there as can print from web pages and other stored documents that do not need pages to open
at a loss what to try next
What exactly have you tried as suggested by those other answers? The usual cause with Pages is that you have the trial of iWork installed & it is past 30 days. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user. Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.
Also, please do us all a favor & don't use all capitals in your posts, either the body of the post or the title. All caps is the internet equivalent of shouting & is very hard to read.

When Mozilla Firefox last automatically updated, it suggested that Adobe Reader needed updating. After updating to Adobe Reader 8, I can no longer print from the internet, only to a file. I know the printer and its interface must be OK because Word prints normally.
Problem solved, it was my oversight, I had not removed the check from the Print to File box in the print set up.

Since upgrading to 8.0 I can no longer print from Mapquest Classic. It's not a Mapquest problem it's a Firefox problem as I am able to print using IE. I haven't encountered any other sites problems yet but I'm sure it's to come if I don't get this fixed. I need to be able to print. How can I fix this?

I have deleted the podcast app from my phone but on my Mac in iTunes->iPhone->Apps it shows up albeit with a button labelled "Install". I've resynced 3 times and when I try to access my Podcast playlist in the Music app, I still get a message telling me that podcasts have moved to the Podcast app. I'm really sick of some of the changes Apple has made to their software.

I have an HO Photosmart B210a wireless printer. I can no longer print from my iPad like I used to do.

Another inportant thing what recent changes have make to your configuration?
Have you add any devices to your network?
What devices did you update around the time the printer stop communicating with the ipad?

Back up all data.
Triple-click the line of text below to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste (command-V) into the text box that opens, then press return.
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
I've seen an unconfirmed report that the "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you might need to remove it as well, if applicable.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again. -
Can no longer print from ipad to hp b210
I can no longer print from my ipad to my hp b210 printer. I am attached to the network and can send print jobs to the printer successfully. I have tried rebooting all three devices , IPAD, Printer and router with no luck. When I send a print job to the printer it simply sends and disappears. nothing prints

I am glad that you are using an Hp ePrint printer, B210a.
I would suggest you to check the print center on your iPad and cancel jobs in the print center and then try.
You can follow the step bleow in order to cancel jobs on the iPad.
Click on the home key 2times.
It will bring up the apps you visited and it should also show print center.
Click on the print center and cancel the first job or all the jobs.
Then try printing from the iPad.

Why can I not print from pages but can if I copy to text edit, I get "printer off line message " from pages ? I use HP wireless printer .
Are you sure you have the right printer?
In UNIX/OSX printers are virtual links to devices and even with the same name can be trying to reach a printer via another network address, so it thinks it is another printer.

After installing latest OS 5.1 update I can no longer print to my HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer? Suggestions?
Installing the new os may have tricked one of the three devices involved. If it used to work, it will again.
Reboot the printer. Reboot the router. On the pad, general, reset, reset network connections.
Make sure all the devices are on the same wifi network. Talk nice to it. -
I have upgraded my iMac to Yosemite but now my two Canon Printers no longer print from Photoshop CS6. I have upgraded the drivers. All other applications including Lightroom are fine. I am receiving an error message as follows:"There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents." How can I get the OS to return a list of printers to Photoshop when Photoshop requests a list.
Have you printed to this printer from 10.10 before? If so, check your connections.

Earlier this week, I updated my Mac Book to Snow Leopard and am now having printing problems. I have an HP Photosmart D110. I have downloaded and installed the driver update. I have deleted and re-installed the printer. I have run the wireless network test (everything passed). I configured th settings on the HP EPrint website. I have shut down and re-started the computer several times. I checked for software updates.
The printer is *recognized* on the Mac Book, iPhone and the iPad. It shows up under the SysPref menu. I have been able to print coupons from the Coupons.com app using the iPhone and iPad, but I can't print from the computer itself. The printer icon opens and it indicates the document was sent but nothing comes out. I'm not sure what I'm missing?!http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907
Also try powering the printer off for about 10 minutes. -
I can no longer print from Firefox
I was in Yahoo mail. I was getting ready to print. The print dialog was open already. Then I got some kind of notice from Firefox that it needed to restart to install an update. No problem I thought, the updates have always had no problem. Since I already had the print dialog open, I clicked print. No print. Checked the printer queue - nothing in it. I thought well, Firefox might be holding the print since it was asking me if I wanted to restart. I closed the print dialog and hit update. Of course, FF got stuck during an update (first time). Update Failed. Tried again, and it worked, but now I can't print. I can hit control-p and File - Print and use print preview. Hey, wait a minute - I just noticed that if I just hit print, it will print. However, I never do this. It appears that Firefox is refusing to open the print properties for any print device (not just the default). Either that or it somehow heard the 'hit print' HP marketing slogan and took it to heart (i.e. I can literally only hit print, ha ha). I have a feeling it has to do with the print dialog being open during a restart to update prompt.
Well, I'll see how it goes, but it appears that the Flash plugin update was not working. I used the uninstall program and procedure from Adobe, installed the new plugin from Adobe's site, and all is well for now.
The print dialogs now allow me to open the properties for a printer. I wonder what the Flash plugin could possibly have to do with the print dialogs, though? Maybe the successful Flash plugin install gave something a boot in the rear, so to speak. Or maybe its the "Adobe + Printer + Vista64 = problems" bug.
I am not going to say its fixed yet, as I will have to try to use the print properties after shutting down the computer and starting it again another time. -
