Can not install photoshop elements 12 which came with my new laptop, it says your product code is invalid

i have recieved a new boxed copy of photoshop elements 12 and adobe premiere elements 12 with my new laptop,when i try to install i get as far as the screen where it asks you to put in your product code and it tells me code is not valid, cant get to any chat support so dont know what to do, can any one help

Thanks for sharing the files. The media_db file in the folder you shared is empty (it is just 1 KB in size). So, something has gone wrong corrupting the file. Do you have Casper Sky installed on your machine or any other third party software that you think might have caused this damage?
Just to be sure that this couldn't be a copy paste error, would you please check the size of the media_db.db file in the following path on your machine:
"/library/Application Support/Adobe/caps"?
If it is sure that the afrementioned file is corrupted, then installation/uninstallation of any adobe product could cause you trouble. Then, our options are:
1. Uninstalling adobe products & installing again on a cleaned up machine & take a back of the required folders for any such future instance
2. rename this folder and try intsalling PSE 12 & live with install/uninstall problems of rest of the products; the corruption of this file might also mean issues with updates for some.

Can not install Photoshop elements 10/ premiere 10

I can not install a 5 disk set of phothop elements 10/premiere elements 10.
I get thru the organizer 10 starts data 7 then rolls back installation for who knows what reason.
I have chated with 4 different techs. Each have instructed me t return after reboot or down load.
Have not been able to get a resolution.
I have copied disk to desk top, have created new user, havedone evverything asked of me by the techs and still can not install the software.
Anyone else got an idea?

Ok, we have to assume that the tech guys somehow uninstalled your version 2.
When you say that you tried to install it again nothing happens, do you get as far as starting the installation?
If nothing happens when you insert the CD, it is possible that auto run has been inhibited for the CD drive. You could use Windows explorer to look at the contents of the CD. If you see an Install.exe or setup.exe, try double clicking on them to start the install.
There are usually two problems that are encountered when trying to install such an old version on a new computer system.
1) The installer objects to your version of Internet Explorer (requires version greater than 4.0 and you have 11.0)
2) Not enough free space - caused because modern disks are much larger than they were when elements 2 was released.
Have you seen either of those problems?

Hi I would be grateful if someone can help me, I have just bought a canon wireless printer, I only have an iPad so I can not install the cd that comes with the new printer yet it says it is compatible. How do I get it working I have a pay as you go 3G sim

I do not use the Internet using wifi I use 3G mobile broadband and if I do need wifi it tells me I have to pay for it, but I can not work out how to install or connect my iPad with my new printer if there is not a cd slot or USB port. I only have an iPad no computer so how on earth do I use my printer with it if it I can't install the printer cd. I though I would be able to use Bluetooth and it would pick it up automatically but I am really confused now and don't know what to do please help.

The iPad uses AirPrint technology to print to a printer. Check this Apple support page to see if your printer is listed as being AirPrint compatible.

If your printer works with AirPrint you will need a Wi-Fi network in order to connect. That Wi-Fi network does not need to be connected to the Internet. As James Ward4 says, you'll need a Wi-Fi router to set up your network. Most routers require that a computer be used during the setup process. Perhaps you could use someone's computer to do the setup if you do not had one yourself. Once the router is set up you should be able to print.

i got the following error message at the end of the installation of Photoshop Elements 11 :
and the installation erases all the copied data and closed.
I tried everything I saw on the web...
I cleaned all the registry, desinstalled all other adobe products, cleaned again, etc etc.
Please can somebody help ?

Look under "Older versions".
I guess it's not on your packaging because the software was sold before Vista existed.

Can't install Photoshop Elements 11 licensed version because of trial version

I can't install Photoshop Elements 11 licensed version because of trial version that is still on my computer and is not being completely uninstalled. The intended folder to install has some files remaining from the trial version, and this prevents the licensed version from installing. The intended folder from teh installer is Program Files (x86)/Adobe, but that has the trial version still there, which will not completely uninstall.

Since updating to windows 8 I have had loads of problems with Flash player and can't install photoshop elements 9
I have tried following the steps to uninstall flash but it didn't work.
It says my flash is in chrome and I suspect I need the version for windows 8. However I just can't download it because it thinks I already have it.
please help as I can't download any photos and my memory cards are all full!
The error message I get when I try to install photoshop is
"error 1327.Invalid Drive:N:\"

Hm, this looks perfectly correct! And I don't think the subst command is any different on Windows 8...
Can you try the following (delete drive N: first if it already exists)
subst N: /d
subst N: C:\Windows
If that still does not work, does Windows 8 Explorer have a Map Network Drive tool?

Can't install photoshop elements 11 on my Mac. I installed, moved a file (whoops). It stopped working. So I uninstalled it, then tried to reinstall but it wouldn't do it. Is it now locked or something? Can't find any way to contact Adobe for help (!!!!) so would be so so grateful for some advice.

Toshiba must have or should have provided you with a CD/DVD and seril number with the machine. however, if PSe is freezing then the first thing you need to try is to reset it to default settings. This can be done in two ways but the easiest ay to do is to go to (I am mentioning only the one method here):
<C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\11.0\Editor>
Find the file called: Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 Prefs.psp and rename it to: Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 Prefs.old
For username you need to insert the correct username or Windows profile name. Also, when you are doing this, make sure PSE is closed completely i.e. you should not have it open to do any work.
I am assuming you know how to browse the relevant folders if they are hidden in the system because this is taken for granted here. Also, the file names may not have any extensions but I am sure you know how to make them display on the screen.

You haven't mentioned which version of PSE. If it is PSE 13, that requires a minimum of windows 7.
