Can not make call to Canada no!!!
I'm having a subscription for calling unlimited to Canada. But while I call once of my friend in Canada. skype usually said that the number is uncorrected or unavailable. However, I able to connect to him sometime. So what wrong with my account?

I think you don't understand the purpose of this forum. This is a user-to-user support forum. You're not talking to Apple. You're not talking to your cellular carrier.

If you're trying to FaceTime, you must be connected to a wifi source and the other individual must also have wifi and FaceTime. Like Jonathan said, it can't make calls.

Can not make call on face time
Can not make call on Face time. Mac book pro with mountain lion. Camera ok, face time starts fine, validates apple id ok. Showes list of contacts. when I select one nothing happens!! Face time is on, apple id is ok wi fi is fine (verified with lion macbook pro), also can not access face time preferences, it shows grey????

I am having problem with iphone 4s, I can not make calls or send text message? Please help.
The problem is presistant. I tried to send the text message but it does not leave the phone, it is only delivered after I turn the phone off and then turn it on again. Only then it gets delivered and even that is only for that moment.
Secondly, I can not send or recieve the calls as well.
Thirdly, after I make a call, the calling screen gets stuck and I can not talk to the current caller or dial to another caller.
Note: I have 'Not" dropped my iphone any where uptil now and I keep it in a pouch to protect it. The problem started recently and before that it worked fine. The problem started when I turned off the phone and after an hour or 2, I turned it on again.
The signals of the service provider is coming perfectly. I haven't found any problem with there service yet.Network unavailable means the phone is detecting and using the SIM, else you would get a NO SIM error.
It means that Sprint does not exist in the Ukraine (obvious), and Sprint does not have any interconnection agreement with a local carrier. Hence, the phone can't talk to anyone, carrier-wise. You need to get a SIM from a local carrier and try again. If it works, you're all set and the phone is indeed unlocked. Else you have been conned and will need to go and complain with whomever sold it to you. -
BH 214 can not make call but can hear music.

just try a hard reset on ur phone, i had almost d same prob. sound can b heard from headphones but headset buttons were not working during call, so cant accept n reject call with BH 214

Not able to send or receive calls since upgrading my iPhone 4. Every time i make a call it fails. I have also noticed that my the battery life is very short as well.
What is Apple and other carriers doing about this? When will this be fixed?Look to the right in the "More Like This" box for assistance. Your issue has been explored ad nauseum.

Brand new iPhone 4 can not make calls network says extended
Me and my husband bought brand new iPhone 4 on Saturday at Walmart through straight talk. Since Monday his phone is unable to make phone calls his network did say TFW but since then it just says extended. He can recieve calls and texts and can text off his phone with a time delay. Any idea how to fix it

I have had an EE contract for almost a year now, I can use Imessage and FaceTime but I can not make calls or texts and I can not recieve them. I have called EE and they haven't helped, I have signal and 3G but the 3G barely works. Does anyone know what I can do?

I've had a Skype Unlimited World subscription for several years, a recurring $9.99/monthly payment. About a week ago I tried to make a call on my mobile and got the message saying 'Skype Premuim doesn't allow calls to phones, that I would need to buy Skype credit', etc....
Hmmm...what the heck is going on?
i checked my emails to see if a late May 'Your purchase has been delivered' mail had come in, and no, it hadn't. Hmmm...more wondering about what's going on. I did not receive any messages informing me of changes to my subscription, changes to Skype or changes to Skype Premium. i went to my account page at Skype to see that Skype Premium was active, but that $0.00 had been charged in late May. Hmmm....what's up with that?
I did read the 'Skype Premium' is changing, group video calls are free', whatever, but it still was not clear about being able make calls to phones, and that's all I've ever needed of Skype for the past couple years. i want to continue having what I had. And I have no interest in group videos call anyway.
What to do? There is no one to call and talk with, but I did have a 'chat session' with a support rep (automated?) who was not able to quite understand my concerns. it ended with the chat rep telling me I'd have Skype Premuim for free until next January. I did tell the chat rep that I just wanted to be able to make calls, that group video was of no interest to me, and she (chat rep had a female name) told me everything was fine, that i would be able to make calls as I had been doing for a few years now.
OK, I'm back on, right? At least that's what my thinking was. So yesterday i tried to make calls, and much to my dismay, there was the same message...'Skype Premuim doesn't allow calls to phones, you will need to buy Skype credit'....AARGH.
So that's it? You can not make calls to phones with Skype Premuim? Or you can, but Skype is having issued sorting it out? Would someone here be able to clarify?
I don't see any use for me of a Skype Premium account if I can't make calls to phones.
I see the world subscription is now $13.99 a month. I would have just preferred they tell me the subscription price was increasing, instead of having to go through this whole mess to find out things have changed. iPhone 4 came with IOS 4 in June 2010 not IOS 2.x

I updated my iPhone device for thw 7.1.1 update that was avalibe on 4-23-2014. when I did this my phone is prompting me to connect to itunes on my computer. My computer is no longer working and I can not make or recieve calls on my phone.
Sounds like the device is in recovery mode. You will need to restore the phone. See this support document for instructions. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

All- I get this message ("iPhone can not make or receive calls. Restore from iTunes" (happend once while on airplain mode and now once while in wifi only area, out of cell range)). iPhone 4. Newest OS. Never happened with old OS! Cycling phone on/off does not help. Ignoring message causes phone to cycle off then on. After first time this happened, I restored. Six days later...same problem! Clearly a new fix is necessary. Suggestions?
I have not tried that...I will look up the process so that I can do it correctly (and still transfer all of my files, contacts, etc). Any suggestions? What is the advantage of restoring as a new device..is this more akin to a complete wipe of a hard drive?
