Can't accept terms for genius

Whenever I try to turn on my Genius Mixes, it ask me to sign in, so I do and it works. The problem is, is that when I accept the Terms and Conditions, it takes me back to the top of the page and I can't get it to start the Genius. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program, I have high speed internet and all of my drivers are updated.

For someone who loves Mac, you haven't really kept up.
And you NEVER update IOS unless you backup first.
The reason everything is off after this update is - it isn't an update.   IOS 7 is a new operating system, just like IOS 5 and IOS 6.    So yes, your settings and apps will be off.
iCloud backup...
Your device can be set to backup to the cloud.    This does not mean you can't backup to computer.   I do it all the time.   I cable to the computer that my device has synced to before and select backup to computer.
When you sync, you can change the setting to backup to the computer every time.
You need to make friends with the cloud.   Login online to view what is stored and synced.
https://www.icloud.com/ipad_welcome/
The cloud keeps your information synced on the Mac, phone and any other device you have.
I have Mac, iPad and a Note 3 cell phone.   The cloud keeps my information the same on all of them. (Calendar, email, contacts, documents)
More about contacts...   I have found none of the email or phone lists with any service keep my contact list complete - except Google.    I suggest you use gmail and merge all contacts.
You can share contact cards via gmail from most mobile devices and computers.   Open gmail on phone and download the contacts and merge.
Pain in the neck the first time, but a lifesaver once it is setup.

  • I can't accept terms and conditions for icloud, it says it can't connect to server. What does this mean?, I can't accept terms and conditions for icloud, it says it can't connect to server. What does this mean?

I can't seem to agree to terms and conditions for icloud and when I try! It says it cannot connect to server. Does anyone know what that means?

None of these things work for me, I'm so stuck!
I updated to iOS7 this afternoon, before doing so I backed everything up and cleared off a bunch of photo's so I had space. Everything had been working fine.
A few months ago I'd updated my apple ID to my new email address and it had worked fine. Now, my old email is my Apple ID and it won't let me rest it (my DOB is apparently wrong and there is no email address it's now connected to). My iTunes is connected to the correct account but the iCloud ID is still the wrong one.
I've tried the 'find my friends' app and it gave me new T&C's but still, the old apple ID
I've tried the restrictions, but that didn't work either
I can't restore the phone until 'find my iPhone' is off, but I can't log in to do that
IT'S LIKE A TERRIBLE CYCLE OF STUPIDNESS
Can anyone suggest anything before I thrrow this stupid phone at the wall??

  • Can not accept terms of service

When I try to accept the tems of service in the email it just tells me verizon can not continue and then when I log into homecontrol i get We are sorry... We are unable to verify your Terms of Service
Please help I want to hook all this cool stuff up

OK, sorry to hear that, let's see if we can figure out what is going wrong.
When you click on the red Term of Service button in the Welcome to Home Monitoring and Control email, it opens the terms of service and you then check "I have read and agreed" at the bottom and click on access now to activate your hmc account it takes you to a setup wizard.
Can you try doing the above procedure again and let us know what happens when you do that. If you have already successfully accepted your tos it will usually open to essentialsandextras.verizon.com. From there you should be able to successfully access Home Monitoring under My Services at the top of the page.

  • How can I accept certificates for using QuickTime as player in web pages ?

    Hi,
I want to use QuickTime embedded in web-pages as a player for my content.
When I provide a link that is under a certificate, the player (web page that hat this embedded) won't ask for approval of the certificate.
This will make the player un-usable, as it won't be displayed in the page.
How can I see if the content can be played and ask the user to open a new page, approve the certificate and the come back to the parent page and play the media.
    Thank you,
    Cheers,

Well I am actually using a template. And the flash video that
was created is way beyond my ability. So I tried initially to
separate the two, the intro video, and the navigation. But they are
intertwined in a way that I do not understand. I do need to do the
variable thing. I took a flash class in school, and my book does
not touch anywhere close to this. I know its probably too
complicated to explain through a forum, but can you recommend any
resources online or books that would go more in depth with this
sort if thing. If I can just see the way it works on another site,
I know that I can do on mine.
    Thank you!!!
    :)

9.5 Licenses to Your Content. Adobe requires certain licenses from you with respect to Your Shared Content in order to operate and enable the Services. Accordingly, you grant the licenses to Your Shared Content as follows:
    (a) For Your Shared Content that’s Made Available in a public forum (such as discussion boards or public galleries that may be browsed by anyone with an internet connection, etc.), you grant Adobe a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable, and sublicensable license to adapt, display, distribute, modify, perform, publish, reproduce, translate, and use Your Shared Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Services and enabling your use of the Services. You may revoke the license and terminate Adobe’s rights at any time by making it no longer shared.

If you join or participate in a group that allows for sharing of Your Content within the group (such as a “group album”), then you also grant the Users within the group a license to adapt and modify Your Content that you have decided to share with such group. If you do not want to grant other Users these rights, then don’t share Your Content with other Users.
    (c) For Your Content that is shared privately with other Users of your choosing, you grant Adobe a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferrable, and sublicensable, license to distribute, modify, publish, reproduce, translate, and use Your Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Services and enabling your use of the Services. (d) You may also grant Adobe specific or different license pursuant to the Additional Terms.
9.6 You acknowledge that the Services are automated (e.g., Your Content is uploaded using software tools) and that Adobe personnel will not access, view, or listen to any of Your Content, except as reasonably necessary to perform the Services, including but not limited to the following: (a) respond to support requests; (b) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; (c) as deemed necessary or advisable by Adobe in good faith to conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; or (d) enforce these Terms, including investigation of potential violations hereof, as further described in Section 15 (Investigations).
9.7 You acknowledge and agree that although Adobe endeavors to provide security measures to protect Your Content (including Your Shared Content that you shared privately), Adobe is not liable for any damages resulting for the disclosure of Your Content.
    10. Shared Content.
10.1 License to Shared Content. Adobe grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to distribute, display, download, perform, and reproduce the Shared Content, subject to the restrictions stated in this Section 10. With respect to Shared Content Made Available in a group allowing for content sharing, Adobe also grants you the license to adapt and modify such Shared Content. The license granted in this Section 10.1 is further limited to your personal, internal, and non-commercial purpose only.
10.2 It is your sole responsibility to determine what limitations, if any, are placed on your Shared Content. Adobe cannot and does not monitor or control what others do with the Shared Content, nor can Adobe prevent them from adding to, modifying, or adapting the Shared Content.
10.3 You agree that Adobe has no liability of any kind should other Users use, modify, destroy, corrupt, copy, or distribute your Shared Content in violation of the limitations that you may impose on its use.
10.4 Shared Content may include personal information (such as email addresses) to facilitate your ability to share Your Content. It is your sole responsibility for any and all personal information that you or other Users used and submitted in connection with the Services. You shall comply with all data protection and privacy laws and rules applicable to the personal information of other Users.
10.5 The Services may allow you to comment on Shared Contents. Comments are not anonymous and may be viewed by other Users. Your comments may be deleted by you, other Users, or Adobe.
10.6 If you are invited by a user of the Service to participate in shared digital content editing or viewing, and you do not wish to receive email from such User or do not wish to participate, you are required to contact the person who invited you to update, correct, or delete the information they provided about you.
10.7 In general, even though we might delete an account you hold with us in these types of shared editing or viewing areas, we may continue to retain information regarding your past actions with respect to content reviews or sharing initiated by others.
10.8 Upon removal of Your Content from the Service or upon making your Shared Content no longer shared, Adobe shall have a reasonable time to cease use, distribution, and/or display of Your Content. However, you acknowledge and agree that Adobe shall have the right but not the obligation to keep archived or “backup” copies of Your Content or use Your Content pursuant to Section 15 (Investigations).
    11. Use of Software.
11.1 Software made available via the Services or through third-party marketplaces or stores is governed by the terms of the applicable Additional Terms or the license agreement referenced in the Software. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the license agreement provided with such Software, then the license agreement shall take precedence in relation to that Software. If the Software is a pre-release version, then you are not permitted to use or otherwise rely on the Software for any commercial or production purposes, notwithstanding anything to the contrary included within an accompanying license agreement.
11.2 Adobe may provide mobile and tablet applications through third parties that interact with the Service and Adobe products. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any equipment or ancillary services needed to access mobile and tablet applications and you are responsible for all applicable taxes and fees incurred while accessing such applications (such as fees from your mobile carrier, overage charges, etc.)
11.3 If no license agreement accompanies the Software that is available for download, the download and use of such Software will be governed by the terms of this Section 11.3. Adobe grants you a personal, worldwide, revocable, limited, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-assignable, nonexclusive license to use the Software in the manner permitted by the Terms. You agree that we are not responsible for the availability or contents of any website or service we do not operate.
    19. Termination.
19.1 Termination by You. You may stop using the Service at any time. You may terminate Adobe’s right to distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display Your Shared Content by making it no longer shared. You may terminate the remainder of Adobe’s rights by removing Your Content from the Service, either by deleting it manually, or by contacting Customer Care to have your subscription cancelled, if applicable, and content deleted. 19.2 Termination by Adobe. Subject to Additional Terms for certain Services (such as ones where you pay for access to these Services), Adobe may at any time terminate our agreement with you (or any individual Additional Terms) if:
    (a) You have breached any provision of the Terms (or have acted in a manner that clearly shows you do not intend to, or are unable to, comply with the Terms);
    (b) Adobe is required to do so by Law (for example, where the provision of the Services or Materials to you is, or becomes, unlawful);

19.4 You agree that all terminations for cause shall be made in Adobe’s sole discretion and that Adobe shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your account (and accompanying deletion of your Account Information), or access to the Services and Materials, including Your Content.
19.5 Upon expiration or termination of the Terms, you shall promptly discontinue use of the Services and Materials. However, any perpetual licenses you have granted, any of your indemnification obligations hereunder, any of Adobe’s disclaimers or limitations of damages of liabilities hereunder, and Sections 8-10, 12-17, 19, 23, and 24 will survive any termination or expiration of the Terms.
19.6 Upon termination of your use of the Service by you or by Adobe for any other reason other than for cause, Adobe will make reasonable effort to notify you at least thirty (30) days prior to termination, at the email address you provide Adobe as part of your registration, with instructions on how to retrieve Your Content prior to such termination.
19.7 Except as otherwise stated in any Additional Terms and applicable subscription terms, in the event of termination by Adobe for reasons other than breach of these Terms, Adobe will provide notice pursuant to the General Terms and will provide you with a pro rata refund for the prepaid and unused portion of the Service.

Step by step, how did you arrive at seeing this agreement?

  • For those that pre-ordered on-line, did you get a separate email to accept terms?

My order has been processing since Sunday.  I called customer service and she said I never accepted the new terms.  She said I should have received a separate email but I swear I accepted terms when I pre-ordered on the site (no such email in inbox or deleted items).  She said I'd have to place another order at this point because the "Term" system malfunctioned which would mean a 10/21 delivery vs 9/19 which is what my confirmation email states.  I'm just curious about this mysterious second email because it doesn't sound like others received it either.  My card was charged the pending $1 charge but she swears I won't get the "pending" order because she can't get the "Term" system to work on that order.  Grrrrr!

That is just something they make you do to "feel better" to make you feel like you did something, customer service reps do it all the time.
Take xbox live support for example, one of the simplest fixes for an Xbox360 was to unplug the power for 15 seconds, then plug it back in. However, customers would never do it, or lie that they did it or felt that turning the power button off should do the same thing.
The simple way for customer service reps to get people to remove power from their unit was to have them "re-seat the hard disk" and to re-seat the hard disk you wanted to make sure the device was not plugged into power so you wouldn't run the risk of losing data. Of course re-seating the hard disk didn't do anything, but it got people to remove power.
You were asked to accept terms so that
A.) you felt like you did something
B.) you felt like you were helped
C.) get you off the phone/line/chat
but in reality it was all for not

Where is the "accept" button for iTunes Store Terms and Conditions?  Can't use iTunes on my iPad without accepting conditions.

Which tab in the iTunes app are you in ? If you are in the Downloads tab then the Ts & Cs link shows if you don't have any outstanding downloads - your download and synced films and TV shows should be in the Videos app and your music, audiobooks and audio podcasts in the Music app
