Can't click on I Have an Account in Set Up Sync

When I go to Set Up Sync, the only clickable button is Create a New Account, which I have already. I use Windows. What should I do?

    Why can't I log-in to Firefox Accounts to set up Sync from my laptop PC? FF30+ keeps telling me to Please enable cookies; cookies ARE enabled, and I already tried Safe Mode. This has been happening ever since the new Sync was implemented, so I'm guessing around FF 30. I am now up to FF version 34 and it still isn't working. I have not been able to sync since the "update."
    Problem #1: Going to about:accounts and clicking on the blue Get Started button opens a blank screen. There isn't even a prompt about cookies. It's just blank. Screen shot attached.
    This is before add-ons are disabled. If they're disabled in Safe Mode, we go to Problem #2.
    Problem #2: I skimmed a thread (https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-content-server/issues/1017) and tried logging in to Sync through accounts.mozilla.com instead, but though the screen doesn't turn blank while add-ons are still enabled, the "Enable cookies" warning is as far as I can get. Going to about:accounts in Safe Mode has the same result. I have cleared all my cookies and my cache, restarted FF multiple times with and without add-ons enabled, and still nothing. I have browsed this support forum for similar questions, and while other people are having the same issue, none of the other threads have been resolved yet. Several FF versions later, this is way too long for this issue to still be unresolved.... Screen shot attached.
    I know where Firefox's cookie manager is located, and I have toggled all the settings. I even allowed third-party cookies (though I really shouldn't since they're pointless). No difference. Screen shot attached.
    I looked in about:config and searched for the word "cookie" in the names, but even doing that is pointless for me since I'm not a programmer and hence ignorant in what all these settings actually mean. Screen shot attached.
    I'm at the end of my rope here, guys. It's been months. A year. Maybe more than a year; I don't even know anymore. I just got a new device and I don't want to add all my Firefox information to it one-by-one. There doesn't seem to be any way to contact Mozilla directly, so.... Someone help, please....

    Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work....

    Hi...
    If you delete the backups it will not delete any content from their device, however the data will be removed from iCloud.
    It will also prevent the devices from backing up to iCloud in future, unless this is re-enabled.

  • Can't sign in to Appstore with Accounts restriction set to "Don't Allow Changes"

    I am using iOS6 and have turned on the restrictions for Accounts. It should only affect Mail, Contacts, Calendars as stated from the phone itself:
    "Disallowing changes prevents adding, removing, or modifying accounts in Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
    In iOS5, this did not happen. I was able to sign in and out while the Mail, Contacts and Calendars were locked. Do I have to unlock the accounts all the time? I do not like that.

  • How can i retrieve photos that have been lost when I've synced my new iPhone to my old one

    I upgraded my iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6 yesterday, and got carried away taking photos. I've just synced it with my iTunes so i could get all my apps etc from my 5 onto my new 6. It has deleted all the photo's I'd taken… Can and How can I get them back???

    IF you backed up the phone prior to deleting the photos, you may be ableto restore them using your backup.  If you had photo stream turned on, they may be in your photo stream.

    I reach Part 3, step 4. The next step should be the appearance of a message saying "Device Connected". Instead, I get a page titled "Firefox Sync", inviting me to set up an account or use an existing one.
    When I click on "I Have an Account", I am invited to enter a Recovery Key, but I do not have another device from which to take this key. When I click on "I have lost my other device", a key is generated, but the "Next>" button does not work.
    What am I doing wrong? I have used this before without problem. Has the system changed?

    A new version of Sync is coming in Firefox 29 which is currently in Beta testing. It looks like some of the images ''(the ones that say Beta)'' in that KB article are for the new Sync while other images are from the current version.
    Let me recap what I read from your posting. <br />
    * You already have a Sync account.
    * You have only ever had one device connected to that Sync account and are unable to "pair" with another device connected to your Sync account.
    * You didn't save the Recovery Key from the one device that you were using Sync with, and you want your data from the Sync server after doing a fresh installation or reformat on the same PC or have a new PC.
    My conclusion is that you weren't using Sync correctly; you were trying to use Sync as a "cloud" service with only one device. That Recovery Key is the data encryption "key" for your data, and without that specific "key" your data can't be decrypted - its' worthless And if you requested a new "key", your data was wiped from the Sync server to ready your account to upload your data using the new "key".
    Sorry if I made any incorrect assumptions, but you didn't make what you are doing clear enough.

    My wife set up her iPhone up on her account on our Macbook, but all of our music is in my account. i want to put music on her iPhone, but iTunes warns that all content on her phone will be lost if add music manually. She has no music on there, but has apps. Will they be erased? if so, is there a way around this. I don't want to copy all of the music over to her account as that would, it seems, double the HD space used...

    Because you have separate accounts, if you try & sync her phone to your itunes account, yes ALL itunes content(including apps) will first be erased from her phone & then replaced with the content from your library.
    What you can do is this: Put all of the content you want on her phone on your phone, from your account. Sign in to her itunes account, disable auto sync, under preferences. Connect your phone, DO NOT SYNC, sign your wife out of her account, sign in to your account , Store>Authorize this Computer, then>File Transfer Purchases(all itunes purchased content on your phone will be transferred to her account, music ripped on your own, won't). For music ripped on your own, use a thumb drive to copy to her account. Once finished, sign out of your account, sign your wife back in & sync what you want to her phone.
    I should add, you can share apps, music, etc. between each other using this method both ways: you sharing with your wife, her sharing with you. Sharing of content this way is permitted under the EUSLA.

    Did you create a NEW Apple ID or did you change the email address for your OLD Apple ID? This will affect how you update apps in the future.
    Anyway, go to Settings/iTunes&App Stores, log out, then log in with the new ID.

    Nothing you can do. Apps are locked to the account that purchased them and you have to log into the account to update them.

    If you are not getting the email, you can contact Apple Support to have your Security Questions reset:
    ACCOUNT SECURITY CONTACT NUMBERS
    Once you get them reset, check your Rescue Email address on Manage Your Apple ID to make sure it is still a functional address. It is not the same as your primary or alternate address.

    Sometimes deleting the account and then re-creating it can solve this issue
    Write down all the information in accounts before doing this
    Highlight the account on the left and click the minus button
    Then click the plus button to add the new account and follow the prompts

    What happens when you try to buy them, does the 'buy' button not work, do you get any error messages ... ?

    I am currently running 4 ipod classics through my own account/profile on itunes.  They belong to me, my husband and 2 kids. 
    The kids are getting older now and have their own laptops.  I would like them to have their own itunes accounts as they will be away from home much of the time and will want to make their own puchases. 
    How can I set them up so that they are independent from my account, but not lose the content that I have downloaded for them over the years?  (A lot of content).

    You and your husband can share a store account and still have seperate iCloud accounts for your contacts, bookmarks and stuff like that.  Click here for instructions to make an apple account without entering a credit card.  Make sure you use a different email address for each apple account. 
    Set up your iPhone/iPad whatever using the new account for iCloud.  Then go into settings/store and sign in with your purchasing account, you may need to sign out of the other account.  To the best of my knowledge, your household is allowed to share purchased legally, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
    Once you each have your own devices set to your own accounts you can set them to backup to that account and it will keep all your contacts seperate.

    I have two homes, two computers (one in each home), and one IPod touch. I already have an account set up on one computer in the one home. I have a second home that I'm at about one week per month. I just want to be able to buy itunes at the second home and download them also to my one IPod. In other words I want to be able to get ITunes from two computers to the just one IPod. Is that possible? My son doesn't think I so.

    If you want to connect and use an iPod on more than one computer you need to change the update preference in the iPod Summary tab to "Manually manage music and videos" and click Apply. In this mode you can drag and drop whatever you want to the iPod from either library. You can also authorise each computer to use songs purchased from the same iTunes Store account:

    If Mail in Mavericks is the same as earlier versions you can select accounts in the sidebar, so that you can either display the inboxes for individual accounts, or the contents of all the account inboxes. (If the accounts don't show click the disclosure triangle next to 'INBOX'). The layout may have changed since the version I have - Snow Leopard - but you should be able to do the same thing.
