Can't deactivate license on old computer, what now?

I had my photoshop elements 9 license installed on 2 computers, a laptop and a desktop. Then the hard drive on the laptop got wiped and photoshop with it. I got a new laptop and tried to install elements using the same serial number since now it's only on the desktop, and it says I've still got it activated on 2 computers. The old laptop didn't have photoshop anymore after the wipe so I assume it should have been automatically detactivated but didn't. How can I use my serial number on the new laptop? I'm not buying another copy, that's for sure.

"What happens if my computer is stolen or damaged and cannot be repaired?
If your computer is stolen, damaged beyond repair or the hard drive is completely re-imaged, the activation will be lost. In either case you can install and start using the Adobe product on your new computer, which will automatically detect the problem if you already had two computers activated. The activation process will guide you through the new activation, even if the prior computer is no longer available."
My computer has crashed but Adobe has not detected this, so I can't install my program on my new computer. What do I do?

There was no problem installing it on my new computor, but it says that i have to deactivate my earlier installation (within 30 days) since i have already installed it on two compters (i need to have the program on both my lap top and my stationary computer)

Depends. what two computer modelss do you have? Do they both have Firewire ports and/or Thunderbolt ports? Do you have a home network with a router that has Ethernet ports available for each computer? Do you have an external hard drive available that could be used to transfer data?

You can restore them from your backup - if you havn't got a backup then you'll need to re-purchase them. Media (music, films, tv shows) can only be downloaded from iTunes once, which is why you are advised to make and maintain backup(s) of your purchased (and any other important) content.

I did not have this problem on my old Mac. I always shoot RAW and can't open any photos. Can anyone help me PLEASE?!?

Do you have access to another Mac to see if the disk can be read by it? If it can't then you're pretty sure it's the disk. If it can then there may be issues with your optical drive which might be cleared up by using a cleaning disk on it, one that uses dry brushes (no liquid).
If you have access to another Mac and it can read the iWork disk make a disk image of it so you can move the disk image to your iMac and install from the disk image.

If your iPod is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use our iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

I am concerned that you might have applied a system updated intended for an Intel iMac, while you have a PPC (non-Intel) iMac. Your PPC OS should not be looking for an "IntelCPU Power Manager."
Have you tried booting from the 10.5 install DVD/CD and repairing the hard drive, plus repairing permissions?
If you done the repairs mentioned above, and your problem still persists, you can also try doing a safe boot. (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455 ) Then, if none of these things worked, if I were in your shoes (it's hard to diagnose these things without being there in person) I would first check that there is adequate disk space, then I would boot from the 10.5 DVD/CD install disk and reinstall the operating system. There is an option to do an archive and install preserving user files/settings, that would be the option you want, as it will save your files but install a new OS. Make sure you have a good backup of your files first. If you do not have one, use "target mode" to copy all your files before embarking on an new OS install. Assuming that you do succeed with this install, then use Software Update to get the right updates for your iMac.

You have two installs under the purchase. But it is usually a good idea to have the activations correspond to what you have installed. For this correction, you need to contact support services. I understand the Chat can take care of the problem. You may want to have your purchase information available as well as an explanation of what happened.

You don't have to transfer it. But you can deactivate it on the old machine if it is still possible so that you retain the option for a second machine activation.
Adobe allows you to install/activate on two machines, so you can just install on the new machine as long as you have the second activation still available.

New used computer doesn't have iPhoto so can't transfer pictures from old computer without upgrading new one. Is there a way to download an older version of iPhoto?

I can't access any of my iPhoto pictures from my old computer since the new (used) computer I got doesn't have it. The new one is a newer version but the applestore only has the iLife 11 which would need me to upgrade. I'm not against upgrading I really just want to access these photos. I used an external harddrive to store the pictures from my old computer and am assuming that the only reason they're not showing up on the new one is because it doesn't have the applicatin (makes sense).

I suggest you don't do that. There is no guarantee it will work right with a more recent OS.
Install the correct version of iPhoto for the version of Mac OS X you are running. (Which is what?) The folks here will tell you how to get to the Library on the external drive when you provide more info about your computer.
