Can't delete favorites from face time. Hit the edit button at top of list, but can not delete. The red circles appear next to contact , but nothing happens when touch the delete button???

Ok, new to this forum. I pad 2 FaceTime, new user.
Have list of favorites in the face time app, but when hit edit at top of list, red circles appear, but nothing happens when touch delete,
The delete red oval appears for fraction of second.
This has to be software issue???

Then double click the home button again
Hold your finger on the Phone App until it wiggles
Click the minus button
Reopen the App and try again

You have to have music in your iCloud account to do that...when you open the Music app on your iPad, for example, you can access all music from iCloud that you have already placed in the iCloud or associated with iCloud. That is not for downloading music you have not already purchased or downloaded.

Force-quit Photos as recommended by Arsenal1607.
Make backup of your iPhoto Library and run the iPhoto Library First Aid tools to repair the permissions on your library and rebuild the iPhoto Library.
To launch the First Aid Tools hold down the alt/option and the command key simultaneously while double clicking the iPhoto Library to launch the iPhoto Library First aid tools. You'd to hold down both keys firmly and long enough, until the First Aid panel will appear.
Try both the options "Repair Permissions" and "Rebuild library". Then try again to migrate the iPhoto Library to Photos by dragging it onto the Photos icon in the Dock.
Make sure, you have plenty of free storage. Don't try the migration, if you are running out of storage.

Just for the record, I was having this problem with older versons of Firefox also. It just happened recently and, with the help of this forum (thanks cor-el) suggesting to open Firefox in safe mode and checking add ons, I found the problem. It was the recent update of Mcafee Site Advisor. If you have Mcafee Site Advisor as an add on, disable it and see if that helps. It worked for me.
To disable this add on,
Go to:
Tools/Add ons/Extensions and click: "disable" for this add on and restart Firefox. Hope it works for you too.
P.S. To uninstall Site Advisor altogether, you must do that through Windows Add/Remove Programs.

Trying to synch my ipod and getting message that a file is corrupt and can't communicate. Trying to restore ipod but nothing happens when I click on restore. What now?

After following all of the instructions in the help site I get the ipod to the Disc Mode but nothing happens when I click on restore. Help, my wife thinks I'm sabotaging her ipod.

When you have a compatible Numbers file in icloud (from Numbers on a mac), then when you invoke Numbers on a device, that file immediately shows up in the main window that lists all documents in Numbers. (Same thing for Pages.)
I haven't used Numbers, only Pages, so I just made a test. Created a Numbers file on the mac and "move to" iCloud. On my iPhone, the file didn't show up - hmm. Then I remembered I had turned off wifi and in settings have 3G data for documents turned off. When I turned on wifi and went back to Numbers, the file appeared.
I suspect you need to import the Excel file into Numbers and then save it as a Numbers file to iCloud, using "move to".
Using Mountain Lion and latest iOS and Numbers/Pages.

Since Apple's last Update on 6 June 2014, I have been unable to Import photos from any source. I receive a message saying, Importing photos but nothing happens. When I click on Stop Import, nothing happens. I must press the On/Off button to exit iPhoto.

Since Apples last update on 6 June 2014, I have been unable to Import photos from ANY source. When I attempt to do so, I receive the message "Import Preparing to inmport..." I've waited 10 minutes but nothing happens. When I click on the icon, Stop Import, nothing happens. When I attempt to Close iPhoto i receive the message, "Photos are being imported to the photo library. Please wait for import to complete." When I click on OK, nothing happens. The only way I can exit iPhoto is to press the On/Off button.

After loading this file I was sucessful in importing photos from a web site, my camera memory card and a CD containing photos.
That is a good news. We now know, that iPhoto is working as expected, when you are switching to a different library.
But this is puzzling:
I then see a box with two Librarys listed, both have the same name except for the following and are listed as:
iPhoto Library.photolibrary but one has (default) after its name which is the one which is always displayed when I load iPhoto.
Underneath the box is written:
/Users/paulfkardian/Pictures/iPhoto Library.photolibrary
Underneath this are three boxes titled: Other Library Create New Choose
I highlighted the the File without the (default) after its name and clicked on Choose. A Library was loaded which had my photos (about 9,822) from about 7 months ago. Underneath the box is written diferently than the file always loaded and says:
/Users/paulfkardian/Pictures (original)/iPhoto Library.photolibrary
You are having two "Pictures" folders in your Home folder, Pictures and Pictures (original)? And each has a different iPhoto library - one working correctly, and one not? Do you remember, when this second "Pictures" folder has been created and what caused it? Did you restore your Home folder from a backup some time ago?

I installed Facetime on my Mac but it doesnt show "Contacts" . Every time I sign in to my account, I can only see the icon"Next" but nothing happens when I click that. Is there an way to uninstall and reinstall facetime ?

Is there a way to uninstall and reinstall Facetime on Mac ? The present version simply doesn't work. It shows me no "Contacts'. Infact once I click Next after I login, nothing at all happens. The video works fine though, I can see ,myself. But I have used Facetime a couple of times in the past from this same MAC.
Hence I wanna know if there's a way to uninstall and reinstall Facetime. Infact it doesn't even allow me to uninstall Facetime , every time I try it says, 'your Mac OS X needs Facetime'. PLEASE HELP !!!

What you've outlined in this part of the post is all that icloud stores for you outside of the backup. If you want to restore from the icloud backup you will then have for all practical purposes a carbon restoration back to your device if you restore from the icloud backup.

When you have kernel panics, the pertinent information is in the panic report.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select

There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". Select the most recent one. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report.

Login Help - Login screen comes up but nothing happens when I hit "login"

I am a total newbie to APEX and have limited experience with Oracle in general, so please, be kind ;)
I am attempting to get APEX installed with 10g Express. I had installed 10g Express and it seemed to work fine. I went through the APEX install process and now when I go to my Database Homepage I see the login screen prompting for workspace, username, and password. I plug in my information and when I hit the "login" button nothing happens at all. No browser activity, no error, as if the button is just dead. I can connect to my DB via SQLPLUS and the oracle service and listener are running. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Installed on a windows x64 server.

This is the exact problem I had.
There are no errors in the log file, but no images either. I'm using the embedded HTTP server in the database (11g)
I found in the installation guide that the script to load the images is:
apex_epg_config.sql
It takes 1 parameter, the ORACLE_HOME. The example in the guide seems to indicate that it's looking for a temporary directory, but after trying that and failing, a look through the code showed that it was looking for the home directory. After running that, the images show up and it seems to work.
Now all I have to do is remember what I gave it for the admin password!

Your UserAgent string in Firefox is probably messed up by another program that you installed.
