Can't Delete Last Remaining Calendar?

1. In trying to completely clean out all calendars (desiring/hoping to have no iCal interference in sync'ing), I've discovered that the last remaining calendar cannot be deleted, i.e., once down to only one left the "Delete" options (regardless of how accessed) will be greyed out.
2. It is not that or any specific calendar. In testing I've "Undone" the preceding Delete action and then, with two calendars, been able to normally delete the old one. Nor does it have anything to do with content: The one remaining now is a brand-new, blank, untitled one.
3. Is there some reason for this? Does the app perhaps require that a calendar be present as some sort of a placeholder?

iCal does need to have at least one calendar. I suggest you create a new [empty] one and delete the last of the ones that you don't want any longer.

How can i delete shared gmail calendars on my Mac's calendar?

Hello,
My company's email, calendar, etc is set up with the Google Apps. I created a Gmail account in my Mac (Running Yosemite) so I could sync the Calendar.
In the Gmail calendar, you can view calendars from teammates additional to your own to make life easier when setting up meetings, etc. Every time I add a teammate's calendar in Gmail, that new calendar is also synced in my Mac. Initially it was pretty cool, but what has happened now is that even though I delete the additional calendars in Gmail, these deletions are not replicated to my Mac, so I'm having to handle about 10 calendars and every time these other people receive invitations I have them on my Mac. The most I can do is "unselect" them in my Mac calendar but eventually somehow they get activated or "selected" again. Below a picture of what I see in my Mac.
How can I delete these calendars on my Mac?

Welcome to the Apple communities.
I'm not all that sure that I fully understand your question. However if you are trying to delete the groups on the left-hand side of your address book, then simply click on them once to highlight them and use the delete key on your keyboard to delete them.
Any contacts within those groups will stay in your main account and will not be deleted along with the group heading.

You don't have any music stored in your personal iCloud account. If you see cloud symbols next to songs in your song list those are only links to your previously purchased music in the iTunes store so you can download them.

How can I delete a reacurring calendar event from my iPhone 4?

I recently started at a new company and of course I set up my iphone to sync with my corprate email. Everything works fine accept one thing. A few weeks make a got an Outlook reaccuring request for confrence calls on Thursdays. I accepted the invite. After a few weeks the person in charge of the call felt Wed. would be better. No problem I accepted the new request and it synced with my phone. My problem is even thought I deleted Thursday's reacurring event from Outlook on my computer. It did not remove the event from my phone. Nor can I delete the event from my phone.
I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 6.01 (10A523)
Exchange Server 2007, Version: 08.03.0213.000
We use MS Outlook 2010 as the client.

How can I delete an extra calendar

Besides my normal calendar on iPad I accdently created a other one. Both gets synced with icloud.
My problem is that I cannot delete the extra calendar. Every time I delete it from my calendar app, its back in a few seconds from icloud.
I then deleted my entire icloud account and deleted the calender and it stayed away.
Then I created a new icloud account and the calender is back.
Really? You cannot do a simple thing like deleting a calendar?

I created the second calendar by deleting my main calender, turning off iCloud, creating a new calender and turning on iCloud again.
Then I had two calendars and none of them could be removed again from iPad or iCloud.
Actually I now managed to delete the empty calendar (thank you Windows).
But now iCloud is not getting updated from iPad.
I really miss my Google setup where everything worked logical.

Can't Delete Local iPhone Calendars

Has anyone else had issue with being able to delete local iPhone calendars. I have about 5 and I need to delete 3 of them. I open calendar, click the Calendars button in the top left hand corner on the iPhone and then edit and open each calendar and delete. It deletes the calendars events but then under the calendars it still lists it as a calendar? Very weird, I have tried it 100 times and it never deletes the actual calendar, keeps it in the calendars lists, just deletes the entries. HELP?

How can I delete a spam calendar invitation without replying?

I have a spam calendar invitation. I am pretty sure it did not come through email, since I can't find any email message in inbox, junk, trash, or anywhere else, with any content that matches this spam event.
Besides, "Add new invitations to Calendar" has been set to "Never" all along.
How can I get rid of this invitation without sending a reply to the spammer?
One suggestion I read is to move it to a local "on my mac" calendar first. I don't have any such calendar, and can't see a way to create one!

You might try just selecting the event and pressing the delete key. You would normally get a prompt with the option to delete without notifying:

I have a very modest iCal setup, 3 calendars, syncs only to my personal iPhone, no MobileMe backup.
Today I copied an event to the clipboard and pasted it in somewhere else. That led quickly to a situation where new events and calendars could be created but not deleted. Deleting or moving an event or calendar causes it to reappear immediately. My calendar is now corrupt and full of garbage I can't get rid of.
In order of preference, can someone tell me how to:
1) Stop this happening
2) Restore from iPhone, overwriting the iCal data on the computer
3) Wipe the current iCal calendar entirely so I can start from scratch, as if I had never used iCal before
Option 3 would involve probably less than 5 minutes of work repopulating the new calendar, so if the other two options are difficult or involved, it would be preferable.

Can't delete an older calendar and reminers account

i was trying to setup my outlook account to work with reminders when i noticed that my ipad wouldnt push changes to my other devices. So i deleted every mail account on my ipad to try and set it up again.That's when i noticed that though there was no email (or reminders or notes or calendar) account on my ipad when i would click the setting beneath the mail accounts setting, the one about fetching or pushing new data, there's one account only found on this option, it's my outlook account set for reminders and calendars and it's set to fetch new data on a schedule.
As you can see if you check this setting yourself there is no option to delete this and it's probably stuck there after upgrading to ios 8? So my reminders app syncing to outlook tasks is stuck using fetch or manual which is a major problem since there is no way to force a manual update in reminders app. If i made any sense, do you think i could delete this stuck account without having to reinstall ios?

Are you syncing the iPad with a computer and do you see the account on your computer? It sounds like you may have Google Calendar account setup on your iPad, which will have to be deleted from settings or the Google site. The instructions in the following article should help.

After adding your Google Calendar account using Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account… > Other > Add CalDAV Account, the primary calendar will sync with your device.

Eveything working fine exept - images saved by pixelmator (jpg, png, tiff) I can't view in finder or any other way. So, now I want to ask how to fix this or maybe You can recomend how to remove last maverics update from my mac?

How can i deleted the entire entries of my calendar

I noticed that i've multiple entries in my both macbook pro (Lion OS) and iphone 4. So these what I did to solve the problem.
1. Using my iCal from my MBP to delete all the multiple entries.
2. Syn my iphone 4 and selected the calender and click on iTune INFOR on ADVANCED and click "Calendars" (Replace information in this iPhone - During the next sync only, iTune will replace the selected information on this iPhone with information from this computer."
3. Nothing happened.
4. Syn once again - Still nothing happened.
So i'm enquiring how can I delete the entire calendar entries from my iPhone so the next time syn it will syn with my iCal.
Pls advice, or there's a better way in solving the problem.

I am not quite sure what you are asking, but there's this:
Your location for time purposes is set in System Preferences, Date & Time, Time Zone tab.
If you are using iCal, there is a Time Zone option in iCal Preferences, Advanced.
