Can't download safari for mac with linux

Hello. I have a mac and a linux PC.
I want to download safari 4 with my pc. I have a better connection with my pc. But i don't have the choice, the only proposed safari version is for windows… But i want the mac version, and i have not windows at home. Why apple insult me ?

You have four options that I know of.
1) Use an external DVD drive that will work on the MBA. (Apple's external Superdrive for MBA)
2) Use a remote disk connection, using another Mac with a DVD drive, and sharing the drive with the MBA.
3) Download Office from Microsoft's website, and then use only the registration code that came with your DVD purchase to authorize the registration.
4) Copy the contents of the Office DVD to a USB flash drive, using another computer. Then install from that flash drive.
Maybe someone else has an idea, if none of the above will woek for you.

I looked in the Apple page but without any success... And other websites only have Tiger or Leopard version.

Scroll to the very top of this page. See where it says 'Downloads' Click it. It will take you to Apples download page and right there on front is the download and info on Safari's latest version 3.1.2.

Do you have a backup. If so you should be able to restore it from that. Otherwise you can reinstall OS X. See Carolyn's post in I accidentally deleted iBooks on my Macbook Pro (late 2011) running on OS X 10.10.1 Yosemite. Will iBooks be reinstalled if I install the next OS X major update once it is out?

My Safari browser is not working well. Junk pages keep poping in and key pages for me appear intoxicated by alien pop ups preventing me navigate that page. Updated last Safari version and problem prevailed. Tried downloading Safari for Mac OS X Mavericks.

The pop ups are malware. It's not necessary to reinstall Safari.

Can't Download Safari for Windows from a Mac

Hello All,
iTunes is no problem, but Safari and QuickTime won't let a Mac download the Windows versions. With iTunes, one can click a link to go to the Windows version, but there is no link for Safari or QuickTime. I have a stand-alone Windows XP SP3 computer. Although I don't use it on the Internet, I test web sites locally on it, so I need Safari to ensure compatibility. Does anyone know how to get to the Windows version from a Mac?

I'm not sure you can; it's determined by your op system. Even if you could load Safari for Windows on a Mac, you'd actually have to be running Windows--and if that were the case, I suspect you wouldn't have had to post the question.

I can´t download mac icons to personalize my new macbook, because it says that there´s no default application specified to open the document, ( ex: lithoextrasvol3.mac.sit) Is that because of the windows compatibility? i used to have an ibook g4, and doing this was no a problem...

Ummm, no. it has nothing to do with Windows. Download and install Stuffit Expander, avaialbe free from Stuffit.com

Where can I download Safari for Lion?

Occasionally Safari beings to crash every time I open it. In the past I have just downloaded Safari and installed over my currently installed version, however, since the release of Mountain Lion (which I can not install due to having a first gen Mac Pro), I am no longer able to find a version of Safari I can install on Lion.

Move this to Safari and let the experts there help you clean up and diagnose your setup, trouble with yoru history and cache, how to launch in safe mode, and maintain your system. And what plug-ins or extensions or other modifications can interfere.
Use Pacifist and the 10.7.4 combo update to do an extract install if it is missing.

I had to delete Safari as it refused to work after I dropped my computer. Now I can't find it on the website. Only the version for Windows.
I can't believe it's not there.

Just a positive message: Like a lot of people I suffered from Safari crashes (No input managers, No SIMBL, or add-on modules.)
The only simple way I found to revert to a previous version (of Safari) is to download safari from rapidshare, unzip en replace Safari in /Applications. (I zipped the current version before to be safe.)
Installing from Apple's download, extracting with Pacifist, etc. is too complicated. Just download from rapidshare, extract, backup your current copy of Safari and replace it with the downloaded version.
Like someone wrote, it might not be the most legal way to acquire Safari, but I consider this a major mess created by Apple, and downloading an older version to patch it and continue working is an acceptable workaround.
This is the easiest way to get back to a working Safari on PPC 10.4.11.

Is it possible to use ADE on my MacBook using its stable current OS 10.6.8 or not? If so, where are the download links available? Posted later: Discovered that Safari downloaded the .dmg without showing anything to that effect. Found the .dmg in downloads folder and installed; appears to function properly.
