Can't filter by file type RAW + JPEG after upgrading to 3.3

I'm running 10.7.4 OS.
After upgrading to 3.3 I'm unable to filter my photos using the "Raw + Jpeg" argument. There are Raw files and Jpeg files and they filter okay. The combo doesn't work any longer. How do I get this to work?

  • Can't write/save files to Lion server after upgrading to Yosemite

So I updated my "home" computer to Yosemite, I always test new OS on this computer for issues first as to not affect the all important "work" computer. Only issue I can find is I can't save/write files to my mac server running 10.7.5 (lion). It seems I have dissappeared from permissions. I can't add me back in because my mac on 10.10 states I don't have permission to do that (mind you I am admin on everything). I go to my work computer that is still on Mavericks and everything is fine, I can write to the server with no issues.
Any ideas on where I should look to fix a setting that seems to have gone awry? It was late last night and I was getting tired of figuring out what to fix.
I do see "me" for that "home" computer on the server....just not showing on the "home" computer itself.

By looking at your post i have several questions to ask :
Where are the temporary files stored ?
Which data sharing scheme are you using for them ? AFP with POSIX or ACL behaviors, something Indesign uses ?
Which versions of indesign are you using ? Some differences exists in between PPC installs and Universal install and may play havoc with that.
There might as well be the question of ownership and rights that may differ as mentionned above in between your G5 workgroup and the MacPro.

  • How do I filter by file type in Applescript?

    Hi
I have put together this AppleScript which opens the folder of the currently playing track in iTunes in icon view. The one thing I'd like to do which I can't work out is to filter by file type. I'd like to just have images/jpgs show in the resulting finder window. Could someone help me out with this?
    Thanks
    Nick
    tell application "iTunes"
if player state is not stopped and class of current track is file track then
set loc to location of current track
    tell application "Finder"
    reveal loc
    activate
set curFolder to (Finder window 1)
    set bounds of Finder window 1 to {50, 30, 1870, 1140}
    tell curFolder
set current view to icon view
set arrangement of its icon view options to arranged by name
set icon size of its icon view options to 290
    end tell
    end tell
    end if
    end tell

OK. Thanks. I can live with finding the JPGs myself. Because they are usually the first files listed when sorted by filename, is there a way of getting the finder window to scroll to the top with Applescript. With the current script it is scrolling to where the currently playing file is.

  • Filter by file type

I am looking for an ergonomic way to filter by file type in the library. I know about the technique of CTRL + clicking on the file type in the metadata browser or entering the file extension into the find palette. Both work, but are not as easy as the filter method in Bridge.
Ideally I would like to be able to just click in the filter area of the bottom thumbnail window to turn "show raw" on or off.
Tis a small thing, true enough, but it would be a nice touch.
    Rory

Also the third listing down in Library Left Panel under Metadata Browser is "File Type".

  • How to filter the file type and size when uploadind files into APEX

    Hi,
I was wondering how I can do to validate the size of a file, before moving it to my table ? I'd like to filter the file type, but for this one, I think I can use regular expressions in a validation process.
I don't know if there is a way to read the file size even before sending it into the temporary file table.
    Thank you
    Leinad

    Hello Leinad,
AFAIK, you have to create an APEX validation (PL/SQL returns Boolean or Returns error text), which will query the file details from apex_flow_files table. Here you can get filetype and size etc.
So just validate and if any validation fails, then delete the file from apex_flow_files and riase error message.
    Regards,
    Hari
P.S. Please note that, if there are other apex validations on your page and if they fail, still apex will load the file into apex_flow_files table. So it's good idea to create a validation (PL/SQL) which will fire (condition) when inline validation errors occured. Make sure that this is the LAST validation on your page in sequence. And here you can write code to delete the file from apex_flow_files table.

  • I can't open a .psd file in Illustrator CS4 after upgrading to Yosemite

I can't open a .psd file in Illustrator CS4 after upgrading to Yosemite.

Can you open any file, i.e. jpeg, etc.? Have you installed the Apple legacy Java: Java for OS X 2014-001? I'm guessing you have because you wouldn't be able to open PS at all without it. But have to ask.

    1. Should be possible to do that; go to the Utilities menu and select 'reset password' before starting the installer. (while booted from the DVD of course)
    2. Standard installation of SL only replaces system components; applications, user data and preference settings should not be affected.
    3. But you do have a backup just in case, don't you?

  • Some mp3 files do not play after upgrading to iTunes 8.0

some mp3 files do not play after upgrading to iTunes 8.0
have upgraded and some songs which used to play on iTunes 7 no longer play. album art is missing. when trying to play on of these songs, nothing appears in the playbar at the top of the window.
it seems the same problem exists in the mac os environment.

The solution I discovered to fix this problem was to create a smart playlist with all song of a kind containing MPEG. Then I went through album by album, and coverted ID3 tags using the value of NONE. This then enabled me to play the songs in iTunes 8.0 and in many cases restored the Album Art.
    Thanks!

  • Can I exclude certain file types in the Photo Downloader?

    Hi there!
I am very new here, so please do correct me on etiquette and if I'm doing something wrong. I've been searching the web for quite a while now but couldn't find an answer or even questions concerning this problem...
I like using Bridge's Photo Downloader, for the nice renaming and other options it gives me. Usually I want to download all images from a card and then delete them on the card. The problem I am having is that Photo Downloader will not only see images (like .JPG, .CR2 or .ARW) but camera database files and settings (.INT, .BDM, .BIN, ...). This is annoying, since I neither want them stored on my hard drive nor deleted on my card. I also would like to import movies in a different way. The way I can work around this now is that I manually deselect all non-images in the Advanced Dialog and then only download these. But I was hoping that there is a more elegant and automatic way to just exclude certain file types from automatic selection. Or even just a way to mark or unmark the images by file type. This should be very easy to implement and I am really curious if I am missing something obvious here or if this is just not possible yet.
Has anyone else thought this before? Or are you all using different methods to import images from your card reader?
Any help or comment is appreciated.

Sorry, download history is either on or off. There is no preference setting to exclude specific file types.

    Hi Maeve
You can make use of below code in pfr method of controler
    if(pageContext.getParameter("FileUpload") != null)
    DataObject fileUploadData = (DataObject)pageContext.getNamedDataObject("Bean id of OAFileUploadBean ");
    String contentType = fileUploadData.selectValue(null, "UPLOAD_FILE_MIME_TYPE");
//Write logic here to limit the file type
}For more details read JavaDoc as well as refer below thread

    Hope it helps!!!

  • Can't open .fir file type

I am trying to upgrade the firmware on my Canon camera.  The firmware file is a .fir file type.  I can't open/run this file on either Mac or Boot Camp running Windows.  Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure that you are meant to open that on the computer? I shoot Nikon and I download firmware updates, copy them to the Card and insert that in the camera, never open them on the Mac.
Check the updating instructions. Just a guess.
