Can't find pics on icloud

My ipod touch was damaged so I wasn't able to use the screen, I dumped all my pics on my old Ipod touch on my icloud. I returned my old ipod for a new one and now i need to access my icloud pics and I can't find them. Help!!!

The only photos in iCloud are photo stream photos added in the last 30 days, shared photo stream photos and camera roll photos in your iCloud backup. You can access photo stream photos by signing into the same iCloud account and turning on My Photo Stream and Photo Sharing in Settings>iCloud>Photos. I can't find my last icloud backup

I've changed my iphone 4 with a new one, always 4, but now I can't find the last Icloud backup that i did few hours ago..
What can i do?

If your replacement phone has already been updated to the latest iOS (6.1.3), you should be able to access any available iCloud backup. Try going to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Data, go through the setup screens on your phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup, then sign into the iCloud account your backed up your old phone to. See if the backup you're looking for is listed. If it isn't, it must not be in your iCloud account.
If you still have the old phone, you can back it up to iTunes instead and restore to that backup.

Click the iCloud icon in System Preferences. Then proceed as described here:

Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu on your Mac.
Click iCloud, enter your Apple ID, and select the services you’d like to enable.
After you enable iCloud and enable "Contacts", you should be able to see all contacts currently stored in iCloud.
What did you do on your phone, before the Contacts vanished from your iPhone?

Can't find pic

I have a JPG. that shows up in my Library. I can actually see it. when I choose show info. and use that name to find it's path, only an alias comes up. when I double click on the alias, it says, can't find the photo. I also have searched for it by date and the folder/month, isn't there.
I have two Library's and use iPhoto Buddy.

Did you import the photo into iPhoto while working in the application?
Or did you stick it in the iPhoto Library Folder in the Pictures Folder Through the finder?

Can't find out my iCloud backup

Hi everyone,
Last month I changed my iPhone and I was able to use my iCloud backup to configure the new device. Last week my iPhone was stolen and I activated the option find my iPhone with no results. So i decided to get a new iPhone and while I was initializing it I noticed that my iCloud backup couldn't find out. Where I should look for my old backup?

If you have iCloud on your computer you can check your back ups on that: System Preferences > iCloud > Manage. If you erased your iPhone and iCloud Backup was off you would have erased the back up.

IPhoto can't find pics - asks for each one individually

I imported 750 pics from a CD, but didn't have the iPhoto "copy files to iPhoto library" turned on. When I went back to edit the photo's after I had ejected the disk, iPhoto couldn't find the files. I realized what I had done, so I remounted the CD, copied the files to my HD, ejected the CD and then reopened iPhoto and tried to edit the photo's again. Once again iPhoto couldn't find the original, so instead of going through the relinking process for each and every photo, I selected them in iPhoto and deleted them. Then I went to "import", found the folders for the photo's on my hard drive and hit "Import" - Once again iPhoto asked where the photo's were - and wouldn't import them until I relinked each one. Why is it doing this? Why can't I reimport them?
I went through the rebuild process, but I can't seem to clear iPhoto's memory of these photo's so I can reimport them cleanly.
Also - how do I see ythe files in the iPhoto trash?

Check that folder with the image files and make sure they are full sized copies of those on the CD and not alias files themselves. There was a time I got alias files when I though I copied full sized files. Don't remember what process I had used but had to go back, open the CD, do a select all and do an Option-drag to make sure I was copying the files. May have been a one time glitch, I don't know.

Hi. I am trying to set up my Photo Stream in iCloud, but I get the message that "this mac is not your primary iCloud Account". And there is only "mail and notes", "contacts" and "Calender" available in my iCloud accont here. No Photo Stream. How do I fix this? Anyone who knows?
How do I find out what is my primary account? And how do I change it to this mac?

Hi Winston and thank you. Well, - I have done what you say, - I go into System Preferences on my Mac - and there I find iCloud. What I see then i iCloud, - but there is only mail and notes, contacts and calendars there. It also says that this is not your primary iCloud accont. But the thing is - how do I make it primary, - so that I can get photo stream and and other stuff on my Mac - inside iCloud? Perhaps my iPhone or iPad is my primary iCloud account - or how does this work?
The thing I want is to see the photoes in iCloud at my Mac!!!

Iphoto not opening, can't find pics

I have Iphoto 08 and when I connect a camera it does not open Iphoto anymore, nor can I click on it and open it to see the events etc. I am assuming Need to uninstall and reinstall? or just install again? my other issue is where do I find my pictures / events on time machine, it appears when I try to find them in IPhoto library they are not there is there a nother place they would be so after I reinstall I can drop and drag, where would they be?if IF I reinstall IPHOTO will it delete my photos where ever they are?!

Have you tried image capture?
nor can I click on it and open it to see the events etc.
"click on it" - the camera? the iPhoto icon in the Dock? the iPhoto application in the applications folder?
What are you doing and what does happen?

It is not advised to be mucking around in the iPhoto library - it is best to use iPhoto to mange the library database - it is sensitive to external changes

Your photos are in the iPhoto library - by default in the pictures folder - but again it is recommended that you do not go into the iPhoto library using the finder

Can't find photos in icloud

my iphone 4s is setup to save to the cloud including photos, so why is it that when i sign into icloud i see everything but my photos?

Photo stream photos are not visible on the web unless you add them to a shared stream with the public website option enabled (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99). This gives you a private url to view them from your browser.
My photo stream photos are only visible on an iOS device or computer that is syncing with your iCloud account with photo stream enabled. You would need OS X 10.7.5 or higher and iPhoto'11 in order to do that with your Mac.

Help! Single notes disappear in Notes...can't find in iCloud.

This is weird. A single note will disappear in Notes and I can't find it in iCloud where it is supposed to be backed up! What gives? I did NOTHING to make this note disappear. I did not delete it, only made a new entry.
This was a VERY important note that I stored information that I cannot afford to lose.
Please, someone tell me that I can find it again...somewhere!
By the way, this has happened before. Just a random note, disappearing, never to be found again.
If I can't find the lost note in iCloud, maybe I should change my sync of my Notes to Gmail?

My wife uses Notes VERY extensively and has accumulated literally thousands over the years, from recipes to lists, etc. She is a very organized person. Occasionally she'll work on a note and come back to it the next day only to find it's mysteriously disappeared. It's been a problem ever since Notes was shifted over to iCloud rather than saving locally on the iPhone or iPad. It frustrates her to no end!
Is this a bug that Apple's aware of and just doesn't care about fixing it? It's a phenominal app when it works but it's sadly unreliable. Like I said, this only happens occasionally, maybe one out of every 15-20 new notes or so. And no, she doesn't sync notes with Yahoo or Google. Only iCloud.
Does Apple know this is going on?

iCloud requires OS X Lion (10.7.2) or higher. You will need to upgrade to either Lion or Mountain Lion in order to set up iCloud on your Mac and see iCloud in system preferences. First check to see if your system meets the system requirements to upgrade.
