Can't get my PC to post HELP!!!!!!!!

This is the first time I have every posted on this forum so take it easy on me.
I just bought the K8Y Neo with 3400+, 2-10,000 PRM HDs, Gig of Munskin Level 2 (2-2-2-5), 9800 pro and some other stuff. Well I get it all together and go to turn it on. I hit the power button after checking everything 5 more times and it does not post. It boots up but I get no video signal. Well I began to read the instruction manual front to back to make sure I did everything right and I did. I decide to hookup the D-Bracket to see what the PC is doing. I hooked it up and started the PC up. The D-Bracket goes from off, all four LEDs are red then to LED # 1 is green and the rest are red and hangs. The manual says the is "Early Chipset Initialization". I let is sit for 30 mins just to make sure it was hanging and sure enough it just hangs.
If I hit rest a few times over and over with no video card in it I can sometimes get LED # 1 & 3 green and LED 2 & 4 red. And sometimes I can get the case speaker to beeps. When it does beep on startup it beeps 8 times which means bad video card or memory. I have tried 3 different video cards and still nothing works.

Thanks for the help in advance. I am so glad I bought this stuff from NewEgg.com, I know they will give me no trouble when I call them up and get this motherboard RMAed.

Hey I had exactly the same problem as you, don't STRESS !!!!!!!...
If this helps, great. If it doesn't, I can suggest a few other things..
Anyway, I found that the motherboard would hang at early chipset initialization...
I tried everything, because I had corsair ram which at the time which I thought would be the problem as I only had 1.0 Bios, and couldnt even post to boot into dos to flash to 1.2.
It ended up being that I needed to take the motherboard out of the case, and make SURE that all the little golden screws which you screw teh motherboard down into, where in the exact position of hte holes in the motherboard.
I found that the extra golden nut/screw haha 'things' ( there were like 4), were shorting the board.
Take your motherboard out, double check that there are these things ( you get with case ususally ) only in position for screws coming down through motherboard holes, none else.'
EDIT - Sorry I didnt see that you had gotton it to work with your older ram. oops.

Do what you are being told. Plug the phone into a computer running iTunes and restore the phone.

The voicemail system used for the iPhone is different from the voicemail system used on the rest of the Verizon Wireless network. Are you using a Mini DisplayPort or a Mini-DVI adapter on your MacBook? What input are you using on the TV, VGA, DVI, Composite, Component or HDMI?
Also it would help to know which one of the 21 different models of MacBook you have. To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier.
And the make and model of your TV.

This problem sounds like a missed target and too many files: user meant to drag and drop files to the WD My Passport icon on the Desktop but dropped files on the Desktop instead. If so, there could be thousands of files on the Desktop; Finder is trying to create icons for every dropped file--and one day Finder might finish--but the Mac is essentially stuck till those files leave the Desktop.
Various solutions exist, with increasing levels of difficulty:
1. In Finder, hit Cmd-N to open a "list" display window of the Desktop, then move files from this window to a new folder--or, as others advise, Cmd-drag files to the WD My Passport (easy, but given the bogged-down system, probably not an option).
2. From the Finder menu, Go > Desktop to get to a "list" display rather than an "icon" display window, followed by drag/drop clean-up to a new folder or Cmd-drag files to the WD (again, easy, but also perhaps not possible).
3. Start in Safe Mode (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1564) and then move the excess Desktop files to a new folder or Cmd-drag files to the WD. (Safe Mode loads only essential graphics routines, so the Finder may be more snappy even with an overloaded Desktop).
4. Boot from the installation DVD and then navigate to the overloaded Desktop to move the photo files to a new folder or Cmd-drag to the WD.
5. Use a second Mac to connect in Target Disk Mode (http://support.apple.com/kb/ph3838) to clean up the messy Desktop.
6. Use Terminal and unix commands to clean the Desktop. Try the easy ways first.

Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist
Click Go then move the com.apple.desktop.plist file to the Trash.
Restart your Mac.

Can't get battery to charge - please help before I pull my hair out

My daughter and I both have the Curve 8530, first, her battery didn't seem to hold a charge very long, then her charging port stopped working. So we started swapping the batteries. When hers was low, I would give her mine with more charge and charge up the other one, using it until the first one needed a charge. That started getting more and more frequent, now, all of the sudden I can't get either one to charge in my phone. Figured out that hers doesn't charge because it is broken. We can see a piece of metal that should be on the little tab in the port, laying at the bottom of the port. Mine is a little loose after 2 years, so I sometimes have to wiggle the connection or make sure I set it down and don't move it when it is charging. However, this is making me crazy. It was plugged into my computer usb to charge all night and was completely dead this morning. Which, is not a big suprise as the usb port on my computer doesn't always like to charge the BB. Gives me an error saying not enough power. So I plugged in the wall charger and let it sit. It gets far enough that it will start the OS, but then sat there for hours and never changed from red and didn't get even 1 bar of charge. Usually it only take a short time. I read another post about an internal circular battery under the sticker with all the identification numbers on it, but I don't see any battery resembling that and am not comfortable taking my BB apart like that. So any suggestions as to what the problem might be? Or how to fix it? My daughter's, though she doesn't think so, is not near as important as having at least one battery for mine due to work, etc. Thanks for reading and any help.

I would suggest trashing the .itl and .xml files to make sure you start clean (quit iTunes before you trash the files, of course). Then use the Add Folder To Library command and select your iTunes Music folder. That should get everything back into iTunes, though you won't get any playlists back unless you made a backup of them.

Can't get e-mail...help!

I need help, I am currently using my husbands old Torch as mine had an accident where water was involved. The email set up on his phone never worked properly and he couldn't set it up. Because I already had email on my old phone and I used the desktop software to make his phone mine with all my info, my email accounts show as being there and already set up. But, I still can't send or receive emails. Any suggestions? This phone is almost useless to me if I can't get my emails throughout the day....

Please try this FIRST, using your BlackBerry browser...

• Go to mobile.blackberry.com
• Scroll down to Communication and then to Email.
• Choose the appropriate email set up options.
If that works and completes your email setup/editing, good.
If not, follow these additional instructions:
2) Register HRT: (OS5) Home Screen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Scroll to any line entry and > press the Menu key > and then click Register Now. If you have an OS 6 or OS 7 device, Look at Options > Device > Advanced > Host Routing Table, etc.
3) Resend Service Books: Article ID: KB02830 How to send the service books for a BlackBerry Internet Service account. http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
4) Then, with the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
5) Now, return to the 1) mobile.blackberry.com email setup as mentioned above and follow that.

iPad can connect only in one iTunes Library. If you want to connect it to a iTunes Library then you have to erase it. You can erase it from iTunes. Make sure you iPad doesn't have a password, or if it has a password make sure that you connect to the computer and enter the password of your iPad

Buy the songs that your friend put on the iPod that you liked. They had no right to give you the copyrighted music when they sold you the device.

First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the Steps in this article to force the device into Recovery Mode.
