Can't group text or send/receive picture messages! Please Help!

Hell Everyone,
so I just recently switched from my Iphone back to my blackberry for simplicity/practical reasons...I couldn't deal with the iphone anymore. In doing so, I came across a problem. I am not able to send group texts or send/receive mms. Everytime I try to do so, the text has a red 'X' next to it showing that it didn't go through. I am currently with ATT and have tried calling them to resolve it but no one knows.
here are some of the steps I took to resolve it
1. Resetted to Factory Settings - Did not work
2. Made sure all the settings in my text message options is selected properly - Did not work
3. Deactivated iCloud/iMessage on my previous iPhone - Did not work
4. Called ATT and had them make sure BB Data plan was on my plan, and it was - Did not work

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
3) Reboot
With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should re-contact your mobile service provider for formal support...be sure to request their dedicated BB support group. MMS is a specific service level that must be properly enabled on BBs in order to function. Often, the first support group you reach will not understand the proper method for configuring this on BB...but their dedicated BB support group will.

Problems with sending/receiving picture messages

Does anyone know how to sort problems with sending/receiving picture messages on the iphone 4S? I've gone through all the re-setting etc at the place I bought it and it still doesn't work!! Spoken to 02 and they said it's an issue with Apple software?? Any help appreciated.

Can you send/receive SMS's? If so, and you can't send/receive MMS's, and MMS is turned on in Settings, 99.9% of the time the problem is on your carrier's end...most likely MMS is not provisioned properly on your account, regardless of what your carrier is telling you. Call back & have them remove MMS from your account & then re-provision your account for MMS.

Phone no longer can send / receive picture messages after "support" call

Hoping someone can help.
A few weeks ago my phone was having intermittent problems sending picture messages (text are fine). I would sometimes have to retry several times for it to go through, but I could always get it to go through. I have a LG VX9400, btw.
Since it did not resolve itself I decided to place a support call. During that call the technician did "nothing", but after he had me dial *228 option 1 I can no longer send messages at ALL! I was then told I needed a software upgrade or could not be helped further. Now I've received the software update and it still does not work. It has been escalated to engineering and closed (without contacting me) and has been attributed to my phone, but nobody can tell me how they came to this resolution.
I have had this problem in the past where it's been on the Verizon network the configuration has to be changed (there have even been blocks that I've never put on there), but nobody is willing to dig into this and says I now have to reflash, hard reset my phone or get another one.
Also note, mobile web even for account management doesn't work (I did have blocks, have since taken them off so not sure if I have to wait). It also seems I am getting a message receipt failed when I turn my phone off and on, again I only noticed this after calling support.
Any help / suggestions / etc greatly appreciated as I really don't think it's my phone since it was working (albeit intermittent) prior to the "support" I received from Verizon.

It's very upsetting having picture messaging issues, especially after calling in to technical support and not getting the issue resolved. Let's get this worked on right away.
Have you tried deleting the old text and picture messages and retrying? Please also remove and reinsert the battery and retest.
Does this happen everywhere or just one location? After the software upgrade did they hard reset the device?
Hard reset instructions:
From the main screen, press Menu.
Scroll to Settings & Tools.
Scroll to Phone Settings, press OK.
Scroll to Security, press OK.
Enter Lock Code ???? displays,
enter the 4 digit lock code ( default: last 4 digits of phone number ).
Scroll to Reset Default, press OK.
Reset Default - Preference Settings will be set to factory defaults. Press <OK> to continue. displays, press OK.
Scroll to Revert, press OK

IMessage cannot send out pictures. Please help?

Hello, I am unable to send out pictures on iMessage - texts are fine.
It simply shows the red error icon & states Not Delivered.
Only pictures cannot be delivered, texts are completely unaffected. Definitely not a network issue.
Is anyone facing this same problem???

I was having the same problem on my iPhone 4S and my iPad. I found that if the person i was trying to send them too had not done the latest update then I would get the "Not Delivered" message. So I updated said persons phone and now I have no problem sending and they no longer have a problem receiving them.. Hope this helps out! :)

Picture messaging PLEASE HELP !!

So I have picture messaging included in my phone plan, and I was able to send and recieve picture messages on my blackberry for the first few weeks that I had my phone but now it won't let me send or recieve them anymore. PLEEASE HELP ME ! What can i do ?

How do i delete files in pages, i have some old invoices in pages that i want to delete, i can delete the text but not the whole file, please help. Dennis

You locate the file in the Finder(it's in the Documents item of the sidebar by default), drag it to the Trash, and empty the Trash.

Can't download itunes - security zone policy error message - please help!

I have had an ipod for a while now but can't use it as everytime i try to download itunes I just get the following error message;
This download has been blocked by your security zone policy - edgesuite.net.
I am using firefox on a windows vista with norton security protection. If you have any suggestions on how I can resolve this I would really appreciate it!

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

There's another thread on this subject that helped me.   Assuming your iPhone and Watch notifications are all on...
Reset the iPhone and Watch.   Other users have unpaired and repaired the Watch.
While I didn't have to unpair the watch, resetting both devices solved my problem (no notifications at all on the watch).
To override the iPhone settings as a troubleshooting step, I used custom settings in the Watch App to ensure the sound, vibration, taptic all hit my watch.
I also set the repeat to 3 times...alert me three times if I don't acknowledge the "alert".   I doubt I'll keep this at 3x notifications, but just experimenting to see if this is truly fixed.

Experiencing issues sending/receiving MMS messages after updating to iOS 6

I, like so many others, have been experiencing problems sending/receiving MMS messages after updating to iOS 6. Other than that, I really do like the new update. I have an iPhone 4S with Verizon. I have been to Verizon, and the issue is not with my plan; it is definitely with the update. My friend updated her phone also, but her phone is just the iPhone 4. She does not experience these issues. Is Apple aware and trying to fix the problem? It is soooo frustrating! I cannot send/receive picture messages, nor can I send/receive group messages. --- Has anyone come up with a solution to fix it yet, or is it something that Apple will have to do?

I also am having the same problem. I can't send a pic to anyone who doesn't have iMessage. Also, I don't always get the alert when I have a new message. I never had this problem before I updated to IOS 6. I have AT&T & an iphone4. It's isn't jail broken. I've been reading forums for a couple weeks now and apparently it has something to do with the apn. And I don't know how or even if I can change it. Then I also read it might have something to do with a damaged SIM card. And it might have been damaged when we updated. But those are just theories.

Is MMS enabled in your mobile phone tariff (check with your network provider) and is your phone configured with the correct MMS settings for your tariff?

Make sure that MMS is turned on in Settings. Sometimes that can get turned off during an update, if you recently did that. Next try would be a reset. If that doesn't help, then contact the carrier, as SMS and MMS are carrier specific functions.

I bought an unlocked iphone 5 with 32mb especially so I could use any wireless carrier that I wanted to. Why does apple hold me prisoner to use only the carriers that apple wants????? The only thing I can't do is send and receive picture messaging.

I specifically bought and paid for an unlocked iphone 5 from APPLE so that I could use any wireless carrier I wanted to. I have been paying ATT WAYYY too much money the last 20 years. But for some reason APPLE wants to keep me from using any wireless carrier - and I can only use the carriers that APPLE will let me. WHY???? I paid my money!! I expected a lot more than I got. If you bought an unlocked iPhone then it will work with any carrier but will work only under the restrictions or requirements the carrier sets for its customers. Apple has nothing to do with that. You are describing a problem of restricted access created by the carrer. If you cannot carry out the functions you want, talk to the carrier and see what limits they are placing on you. An unlocked iPhone is fully capable of all functions the carrer allows.

Are you using the phone on a supported carrier? Have you checked with your carrier to make sure that your account is properly provisioned? Have you turned on MMS in Settings>Messages? What happens when you try to send?

Group texts aren't received.

Group texts aren't received. So, since I was forced into a software upgrade on my Droid HD Maxx, and our other HDs the group messages aren't received. We get notified that I have texts, but none are there. All I can get out of Verizon is, "yeah, that is a problem. If you would like to hold for another half hour I can get you to someone with the same answer." So I pay thousands of dollars a year for phones that don't work. Does anyone know when this will be fixed? Or is it finally the last straw?

We want to make sure that you are able to receive your text messages on time. When did you start having this problem? Are your text being delayed from one sender or every text that is being received? Does this only happen when connected to wi-fi?

its not working but the landscape and copy and paste and voice memo and search and everything else seems to be working...but i though that we could send and receive picture messages now through text?

you can if your telco allows you too. call them and make sure it is enabled on your service.
