Can't leave podcast review using iPad?

I am trying to write a review for a podcast but can't seem to do it? I open ITunes on my iPad, I open the podcast, I click on write a review, I enter my iTunes username and password, select the star level, I write the title, I write the review, I click submit and then the window goes away. the review never shows up. What am I doing wrong?

It's better to post the URL of the feed (as you have subsequently done) than the contents of the feed .
From the FeedValidator report the feed is basically OK for iTunes. There are several occasions where 'content:encoded' sections (following immediately on 'guid' tags) should be enclosed in
    <description>...</description>
tags: however all this will be ignored by iTunes anyway and only applies to other readers. The 'potentially dangerous content' referred to by FeedValidator is within the 'content:encoded' tags and so isn't relevant to iTunes. They are referring to an inline css style, and I don't know whether this might cause a problem elsewhere.
You should really have a language tag, e.g.
    <language>en-us</language>
(you have a dc:language tag but that's for a different system). This should be placed in the top section, before the first 'item' tag.
It's advisable to have an 'itunes:explicit' tag for each 'item' -
<itunes:explicit>yes IF CONTAINS ADULT MATERIAL, OTHERWISE no</itunes:explicit>
it's not compulsory if you have no adult material, but you must have a 'yes' if you do.
You can check your feed by subscribing in iTunes from the 'Advanced' menu - this has the same result as clicking the 'Subscribe' button on the Store page. If it works OK there you are ready to submit it.

  • Why can I not register my used iPad mini to my account? states still registered to previous owner, even when its not??

I purchased a used ipad mini, still under warranty.  despite previous owner removing the device from his apple account, when I go to register the ipad mini to my account, apple states the device is still listed under previous owner.  Previous owner has gone into his account and the ipad mini has been removed?  what to do

Contact the Apple suport number for your location from http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 and ask for their help is getting this registration straightened out...you will probably need to be able to send them proof of purchase for the iPad Mini.

Hello, I have installed a new Laserjet Pro M1217nfl using Wi-Fi. My laptop prints everything e-mails, Word documents etc. My iPad 3 (latest issue) only prints documents using Wi-Fi so has clearly recognised the printer. How can I print e-mails? Thanks.

In the email you want to print, on the top right there is an arrow. Click that and an option should appear that says print. That should work. Have you already tried that?

  • How can I log into my new (used) Ipad if the previous owner has the only log in information?  I purchased it through Glyde and have no information on the seller.

How can I activate my new (used) Ipad if the previous owner has the only log in information?  I purchased it through Glyde and have no information on the seller.

What you've run into is the activation lock. Previous owners are supposed to wipe their devices, and to do that they have to enter their apple ID's. If yours wasn't wiped then it was a careless owner, or the dark side is that whomever sold it, it wasn't theirs to sell.
Regardless, what Deggie says is your only recourse. Get your money back or own an unusable brick.

The forum where you posted (this thread may have been moved by the time you read this) is for questions from those managing sites on iTunes U, Apple's service for colleges and universities to post educational material in the iTunes Store. You'll be most likely to get help with this issue if you ask in the general iTunes Store forum.

  • Can't leave comments on blogs using iPad

I cannot comment on blogs using my iPad. Have tried Safari and Chrome. Found a suggestion to try Opera but it is so slow it won't even load the sites. Any suggestions?

The problem seems to be specific to blogs. I enter the required information in the comment fields, i.e., name, email, website, and comment--then hit the submit button. The site goes through refresh as if processing comment but comment doesn't appear. I have researched online and this appears to be a common problem when using iPads to leave comments on blogs. The only suggested solution has been to use Opera browser but it is extremely slow. Here are some examples of sites:

also, it doesn't make a difference if the site is mobile responsive.

  • Why can't I leave a review in the app store?

I have many apps on my iPad, but I have never been able to leave a review.

I currently have the same problem on iOS 7.1 on 4th generation iPad. This is happening over a period of weeks and multiple apps that I cannot submit reviews for.  I can go back in the "write review" of the app and the info is still populated and hit submit again but it does not work.  There is also nothing inappropriate in my reviews either.  I have done everything people have suggested to no avail like resetting my iPad.

  • Can I use iPad charger to charge iPone?

Can I use iPad charger to charge iPone? Will that affect iPhone's battery life?

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. • Podcasts is using up all my storage, but I can't delete it.

How can I stop Podcasts from taking up too much space?   I get a "Storage Almost Full Message," which shows 736 KB taken up by Podcasts. However, when I go to this app, it shows no saved Podcasts.  What can I do?

    Howdy Lise,
It sounds like you are concerned about the 736 KB in storage you are seeing that your Podcasts app is using. That is a tiny amount of space less than a megabyte. I would recommend you look for other places to delete data from. This article will help you locate other apps that are using space so you can check that out:

  • Can I Sync PDF podcast feed to iPad

Hi all, my first question on these forums. I have several PDF only podcasts I subscribe to, such as Beatweek and other magazines. These appear fine in iTunes on my Mac and open in Preview if I double-click on them, but for the life of me I cannot find out how to get them to sync as a Podcast, to my iPad.
Yes, I know I can manually set the Podcast feed to the 'Book' category and manually select the individual issues and then they appear in iBooks but that is annoying and I have to remember to do it every time a new issue comes down.
Why doesn't Apple make this happen automatically in iTunes? Am I missing a setting or something here?
I have Googled and searched the forums all over but cannot find a satisfactory answer or solution to this seemingly obvious issue. Is there any way to automate this in iTunes?

Server stored mailboxes with an email account that can be accessed as an Exchange or IMAP account with an email client are kept synchronized with the server with each email client used to access the account.
What type of email account does the email account provider for this account support when accessing the account with an email client such as the Mail app on your Mac and with the Mail app on the iPad - POP, IMAP, or Exchange?

  • HT1665 Can iPhone car charger be used for latest iPad?

Can iPhone car charger be used for new iPad?

Probably not. The iPhone charger is 5W whereas the iPad requires a 10W charger. The iPhone car charger will probable charge the iPad, but very slowly.
