Can't Locate my downloaded Quicktime Pro

I purchased Quicktime Pro, downloaded it, but can't find the application on my computer. I've searched in spotlight. I don't think it actually downloaded. How to I re-download without having to purchase it again?

If you placed you name and registration number into Quicktime player correctly you have Quicktime Pro. Open Quicktime and go the menu---> About Quicktime Player. A new window will pop up. Next to the Quicktime logo there should be small text saying pro.
The registration key unlocks the pro features in the Quicktime Player. There isn't a separate program for Quicktime Pro.

But the "Control Panel" window they tell me to look for can't be found. All I can do is open my Quicktime Player 7.5 window, and it doesn't offer the tabs in the instructions.

MS Vista Ultimate 64 Bit.
When using my Linux PC to try and locate drivers for another PC, the website just keeps sending me in circles and never displays the drivers to download. Seems like in the past this has been a problem too. This occures with latest version of Firefox-37.0.1 and the current version of Chromium-37.0.2062.120 Built on Debian 7.6, running on Debian 7.8 (281580) (64-bit).
Navigate to hp.com
Select: Support | Download Drivers
Under 'Drivers and Downloads' tab
- enter product id: officejet pro 8500 A909a
- Select 'Go'
Expand the '+' that lists one link and select it.
None of the following links give a driver download!
- Troubleshooting
- How To
- Product Info.
- Users Guide
- Video Tutorials
- More Options
Maybe one of the options should be 'Driver Downloads'.

I downloaded quicktime pro but can't get quicktime to open. Says I need application support, but when I download that it doesn't do any good and it takes me to 1000 other sites to download 1000 other things. I am running Microsoft Windows 7. I downloaded an upgrade of itunes also. Help Please!

Open the QuickTime Player 7 app and look under the Edit menu / Preferences / Registration window to copy down the name, org and number.
Install the free player on the new machine and enter the registration info and test. If everything works as it should erase the registration info on the old machine.

Go to the "App Store" app under the Apple menu.
Login with your Apple ID account (the one you purchase Logic)
Go to the Purchases tab where you find all the apps that you purchased with that Apple ID
Any app that is not installed on the current computer is ready for download
Download and install the app
Done.

in QT, go to QT Player > about QT Player
if it shows a QT pro logo you have upgraded to pro OK
If not, did you include the full details in the registered to box, eg> "Mr John Smith"
also, copy and paste the reg code from Apples email, dont type it in.

Help i download quicktime pro

so i downloaded quicktime pro after i downloaded the new quicktime for itunes. I was able to download some interviews and put them on my itunes (in the movie section)..when i go to sync them onto my ipod they wont sync. When i select a movie i purchased and the interviews i downloaded, only the movie will sync. What do i need to do to have the interviews on my ipod?

Where can I download QuickTime pro?

I've purchased QuickTime Pro for Windows on apple.com but can't see where to downlaod the software from? I was told I should receive a download link by email but this has never arrived and I'm getting conflicting information about how and when I should get this??
Any help much appreciated as I've spent £20 and got nothing to show for it at the moment.
I have received a registration key (no downloadload link on that email though).

Many thanks - the email confirmation I received made it sound like I would receive a download link. In fact when I phoned support, they advised me that it can take 24 hours to process and I should receive a separate download link?? Anyway, problem solved now. Many thanks.

Only QT 7 can be keyed for "Pro" use. The latest version of QT 7 compatible with Snow Leopard and Lion OS is v7.6.6 which can be downloaded HERE. If needed, the instructions for keying QT 7 for "Pro" use are located HERE. You can purchase the QT 7 Pro key at the online Apple Store but be sure to save a copy of the purchase/registration information as Apple seems to have closed the door on the software download page for online accounts which used to store a copy the registration key information.

I took some videos with my iPhone (the long way), and need to be able to rotate them and convert them to avi files. I understand that Quicktime Pro can do the rotation and conversion, but I saw one review that said the aspect ratio is not retained, i.e. the video comes out flattend (wider).
Can anyone tell me if this is still true with QT Pro, or if there are other solutions for resolving this outside of QT Pro?? I have tried a number of other converters, and found one that rotates, but aspect ratio not retained.

This may or may not depend on your specific work flow. Many "settings' saved to the original file by QT 7 Pro are merely "playback instructions" which may or may not play correctly in other media players while these same settings do work properly when saved/converted to a new file container. In addition, not being a Windows user, I don't know if there are are any significant differences between the Mac and Windows versions of QT 7. In any case, I just took a short sample clip, stored it on my hard drive via Aperture 3, opened the file in QT 7 Pro, rotated the clip in QT 7 Pro, and used the "Save As..." command to store the modified file. This modified file now plays correctly in current versions of the QT 7, MPEG Streamclip, and VLC media players. Have uploaded a copy of this file so you can download it, test playback in various players you normally use, and/or test convert it to your specific AVI audio and video compression formats.

As indicated above, the file plays correctly for me in various media players and all media "Inspector" windows, including other third party media information utilities, confirm the correct dimensions and aspect ratio as displayed. As to AVI conversion, I test converted the uploaded file to AVI (DivX5/MP3) at original dimensions using VisualHub. (Also tried the VideoMonkey AVI encode but it limited the source 720p file to a 720x480 output and I did not know if you were agreeable to such a restriction.) Suggest you run similar tests with your preferred Windows converters to confirm/refute results on your system.

Can I use a single QuickTime Pro key on more than one computer?

I would like to use QuickTime Pro at both home (Windows Vista) and at work (Windows XP). Can I do this using a single purchased key, or do I need to buy two separate keys, one for each machine?
It's a rather stupid question, but I can't find an straightforward statement one way or the other in the FAQs. Perhaps the answer's too obvious!

I can't locate my downloaded files

Yesterday I downloaded a .zip file, And today when I woke up, I tried to open the file but it didn't work. I can't locate it. Nothing happens when I press the little folder button at the left (http://i.gyazo.com/9e5b651b9050c6f3a335d52312497166.png). I'm quite pissed now, and the file is 4.8 GB. which makes me even more pissed. Anyway, can someone help me?

I'm sorry you had to face this problem. If you cannot open by clicking that image try right clicking your download and choosing Open containing folder option. If it still doesn't open try to open some other downloaded files and see if they open or not or go that folder where your downloads go through windows explorer and check for that file.

Can't save changes in Quicktime pro on Windows 8.1

I can't save any changes i make in quicktime pro 7.7.5. I am trying to trim a video clip.
I am using QP just as i would on my mac version, modifying start and end points.
When i click save, literally nothing happens .not even an eror message, nothing.

OK. That rules out a "reference movie".
You make a "selection" (in and out points) in the timeline and then you're using the "Cut" or "Trim to Selection" from the Edit menu?
And then "Save As" or "Save"? Do you get the next window where you can edit the file name and change the destination directory?
