The print button with Win8.1 in any pages don't work, only empty papers

Many web pages contain a print button to print content. Since the upgrade to win 8.1 these buttons no longer work. in other browsers work the same pages properly.

Many print buttons launch a new window with a reformatted page more suitable for printing. If the problem is with the new windows, it could be the Firefox pop-up blocker, or a pop-up blocker in an extension or external security software.

To determine whether an extension is a likely culprit, you could test one of the problem sites in Firefox's Safe Mode. That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)

Required Alerts when you hit the print button

I'm working on a form that will be printed and fax, so there is no submit button. I wanted to know if there is a way to have the required field alerts pop up when the print button is selected?

No, the built-in alerts are only shown when a Submit Form action occurs, whether the form is submitting to a web server or uses the mailto scheme. What you can do is create a "Print" button on the form that uses JavaScript to do the checking and alerts the user to incomplete fields. If everything checks out, the script would allow the form to print. This is actually a better approach as you can do more complete checking and provide more useful alerts. The user could always print by using the menu item or toolbar button, but it's better than nothing.

I cannot see the print button on the bottom tab in order to print a document even when I hide to tool bar.

I recently changed my computer software from Vista to Window & Ultimate. Since changing, I cannot see the print button which should be at the bottom. I have tried to hide the bottom toolbar but it still does not allow me to see the print button. Please give me directions in easy to read English.

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible:

Open the Customize window to set which toolbar items to display:
*View > Toolbars > Customize
*Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar

Your Print button should be accessible, of course, but sometimes we can do things to confuse the system and we have to take some action to get out of that situation. This case sometimes arises if we change the resolution of our screen display since opening the app, or if we change the position of something that is set to "stay on top" of the display.
If the Dock is the problem right now, you could Hide it or Move it to a different edge of the display, to get it out of the way. Settings are in System Preferences, Personal, Dock. I usually have my Dock set to automatically Hide itself, so it's never in the way.
You could also try Saving, Closing and reopening Pages and see if that resets the location of the Print Dialog. Or, you could just hit Return rather than clicking on the button.

I have reports in SSRS. I am using remote reports. Reports have multiple pages.
In IE, the print button displays, but in Firefox and Chrome, it does not display.

The common workaround about print button on ReportViewer control for non-IE browsers is add ActiveX print control or create Print function. It has pros and cons.
I am not good at programming. But you can try to disable page breaks by setting InteractiveHeight to 0 so that the report will rendering in single page with Report Viewer control.

Report is not starting an adobe window when pressing the print button

When ever I press the print button on my report and I get the box that asks you which page to print. I choose all and then press the ok button. Nothing happens when I press the ok button. I'm I missing something on the server that is running the application. It works locally but not on my test server.

Well, in order to print using PDF, you must have adobe installed...
I understand that you have some CR Service Pack installed, but I am not sure which one. I'd recommend you download SP 5 from here;

Re.; I was wondering I am missing something from the server that converts the report to pdf and shows it in the adobe viewer.
Not that I am aware of.
If SP 5 does not help, a question for you; can you print any pdf document (non CR) from adobe on that server?

Inactivate the print button is the ABAP list

How can I inactivate the print button in the report program (ABAP list)?
I can inactive the print button on selection screen by using 'RS_SET_SELSCREEN_STATUS'. But can't achieve the same effect after the program jumped to the list output screen.

To achieve this you need to create your own custom pf-status. The tcode for creating new pf-status is se41. Goto SE41, enter the program name and click create.
Enter the menu bar buttons, application tool bar button and Function key as per your requirement. Active the pf-status. Once the pf-status is created, use this in your program using the statement.
set pf-status 'ZPF'.

Google Calendar will not print in Firefox 19.0 and adobe reader x when one presses the print button in the popup window.

I have the monthly calendar on screen, click the more button, click print. Another window pops up and when I click the print button nothing happens. I am using Firefox 19.0 and Adobe Reader 10.1.6. The print function works in IE and Chrome.

Hello, I have a problem with the "print" button, in a Macbook Pro 15" 2.8GHz.
In all the programs, when I want to print anything, I go to file/print/print.
Well, when I press the "print" button, it doesn't work, but in "Word" when I press the "print" icon works, but with this button I can't write the page number or pages and other things that I want to print.
I tried to re-install the Snow Leopard, repair permission disks, and re-install the drivers of my Epson printers (I have two). All this things couldn't solve the problem.
I have an iMac and with it I can print without problems.
Can somebody help me? Thanks very much.

The probable cause of this is that the /Library/Caches/Epson folder is missing.
There are several threads here about this issue with Epson printers: try deleting the <hard drive>/Library/Printers/EPSON folder and then reinstalling the software through Software Update or from the Apple download site. After installing the software, restart, delete and re-add the printer. That should recreate the /Library/Caches/Epson folder, and you should be able to print.

My son tried to set-up an app and it accepted his email and he registered but when he entered our printing email address ****@hpeprint .com it said it was not operating at this time. All of my family members have the same problem. I deleted the printer and when I attempted to re-enter the email address ****@hpeprint.com it says check printer email. The email address is the one I registered with eprint.

You can veiw your printer's email address by logging into your ePrint Center account at eprintcenter.com.
It will be listed under the picture of the printer and after the word ePrint.

When I click file print on adobe reader, the print button is hidden by Windows 7 taskbar

When I click File then Print, it brings up the print menu, but the print button is covered by the Windows 7 taskbar, and I can't click on the print button when I scroll down to it, nor can I re-size your Print Menu Window. I am able to print by pressing on the Enter button on my keyboard.

Try changing your screen resolution to something a bit larger. The system requirements call for at least a 1024x768 resolution to view everything properly.

How To: Disable the Print button until Required Fields are filled out

I have a PDF Form that I have created using LiveCycle Designer 8. On my PDF Form, I have a bunch of fields that are required. Is it possible to disable the Printer button until the user fills out all the required fields? We don't want a user being able to print out an incompleted form.

It's not possible.
However, you can create buttons on your document that "help" the user print
just a part of the document: a certain page range, just the current page,
etc.
