When I try to register for an ePrint account I get the following error message
Ajax submit failed: error =403, Forbidden
I have a new Google Chromebook and would like to use the CloudPrint / ePrint option, but seeing as I can't sign in for an ePrint acct, it's going to be impossible
I have a HP Officejet 7500A Wide Format e-All-in-One Printer - E910a printer and I set up an HP account to register that printer - S/N MY22D310S1

Please try again later." I have tried manually assigning a new IP address and changing the DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as suggested in other posts but it has not made any difference. Registered for a number with unknown reason

To Whom It May Concern,
I have been abroad for the past couple of months and recently received an email from AT&T saying my payment could not be processed. As I was reviewing my charges on my AT&T account, I saw that I have another number registered under my name - ***. I have never registered for another number other than the one that I am using and should only be paying for (***). Please help me look into when and how that number came to be registered under my name. I would also like to find out why my payment has failed to process various times.

When enabling eprinting for the HP LaserJet 500 MFP M525 it would not register with the services. It has been stuck on this status for several days under web services: This device is currently being registered for ePrint. Please try again later.
I have reset the printer factory defaults, upgraded to the latest firmware, and the status remains the same. ePrint does not show the device as registered or a way to cancel the registration. I am looking for some suggestions to remove the device fom this status in order to attempt to register the device again.

For LaserJet: Print a configuration page from your printer to locate the IP address. Open a Web browser and type the product IP address into the address line. The HP-embedded Web Server will open. Click the HP Web Services tab. Select the option to remove Web Services.
This doesn't work, since the printer doesn't thinks it's connected. It still says that "HP Web Services is not enabled":

I realize what I am about to write sounds a bit weird: to change the term of a Skype Number subscription, we need to permit it to expire, or in other words, reach the end of its term. Your Skype Number will be held on account for you for 90 days following the expiration date, so you can sign in even on the same day you receive the e-mail stating your Skype Number subscription has expired, to reinstate the subscription and change the term.
I had to ensure I had enough credit on account so my renewal would process successfully; if you plan to renew for a year and use credit for your payment method, remember to add enough credit to cover the cost of the annual subscription. You could also change your payment method at the time you reinstate/renew your Skype Number subscription.

I just viewed the website on my computer, and it appears to be working okay on my end. It's possible that there's a setting in your web browser responsible for what you're seeing. I would recommend trying the following steps:
1. Try to view the site in a different web browser to see if that's the issue. Normally, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari all display the website properly. Try one or two of those (other than the one you've been using) and it should do the trick.
2. If that doesn't work, try resetting Internet Explorer's default settings by clicking "Tools" (on the top menu bar), "Internet Options" (usually at the bottom of that list), "Advanced" (far-right tab), and "Reset" (towards the bottom-right of that box). After resetting the defaults, try viewing the ePrint Settings area again.

Why can't i register for ePrint?

I fill in each box, yet it won't work... I only have to fill in my email and password once but when I press on "make account", there comes this line above my email and password saying: (translated from dutch)
"e-mails have to match"
"passwords have to match"
What's this kind of trickery?? Can anybody help me, a big thanks in advance.

Hello J2aper,
When you try to register for an account on ePrintCenter, you should be prompted to enter and email address and then another blank box should appear below to confirm this email address. Once you have typed the same email address into both boxes you should have a green checkmark appear to the right of the boxes. The same process should apply for the password as well.
I am not familiar with the Dutch version of the registration page but if you understand English well enough, you may try changing the country/language options at the bottom of the page to English/USA and see if this helps in you with successfully registering for an account.

I can't register for efax on my hp7510.

When I try to register for efax I get the error message to check my web connectivity. I saw on another post that the problem was that eprint was turned off. I checked mine and it was off. I turned it on and again tried to register. I got the same message. When I checked eprint again it was off. Part of the registration process is a button to enabel eprint. I push it and by the end of the registration process the eprint is again turned off. What's up?

If that does not help, if you could provide me with the following information it would help me out. First, who is your ISP( Internet Service Provider, i.e. Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, ect.)? Second, who is the maker of your router? Lastly, what is the model number and firmware version of your router?

How can I register for a jabber video account

Anybody figured out how to register for the above when you already have a Cisco login?
I have three e-mail addresses which, over the years of CCNA and network support, I've used to register with Cisco. Now, when I try to register for telepresence, it tells me the addresses are in use. There must be a way of extending an existing Cisco account to access Jabber (or am I being naive?).

Free Cisco Jabber Video accounts can be obtained from www.ciscojabbervideo.com. If your email accounts are already in use, then use the forgot password link to reset your password.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve your problem.
If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. All it does is to gather information about the state of your computer. That information goes nowhere unless you choose to share it on this page. However, you should be cautious about running a program at the instance of a stranger on a public message board. If you have doubts, search this site for other discussions in which this procedure has been followed without any report of ill effects. If you can't satisfy yourself that the instructions are safe, don't follow them.
Here's a summary of what you need to do: Copy a line of text from this web page into the window of another application. Wait about a minute. Then paste some other text, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page. The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. Details follow.
You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
When you launch Terminal, a text window will open with a line already in it, ending either in a dollar sign ($) or a percent sign (%). If you get the percent sign, enter “sh” and press return. You should then get a new line ending in a dollar sign.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for your password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator rights.
The test may take up to a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. There is no indication of progress until it's done. Wait for the line "[Process completed]" to appear in the Terminal window. If you don't see that line within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report your results. No harm will be done.
When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." That's because the forum software falsely identifies something in the post as a violation of the terms of use. If that happens, please post the results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

HT2534 How can I register for an Apple ID without having a credit card?

So this is my problem:
I just bought a new iPod Touch 4th Generation - 32gb last week and I am having trouble in registering for an Apple ID. I don't have any credit cards with me and I don't plan on having one soon. So far, the choices for payment method are Visa, Mastercard and AmEx. I'm from the Philippines. Please help!

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

I can't register for Games Centre on iPhone 4. It says that every nickname is already in use (even the most ridiculous and obscure ones) Does anyone have a suggestion to correct this?

I have been trying to register for Games Centre on my iPhone 4. I have tried so many Nicknames (even obscure and ridiculous ones), and it tells me that every single Nickname is aleady in use by another user. Does anyone else have this problem? Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!

How do i register for eprint if i didn't do it within 24 hrs?

I've a 3055A Printer. I set it up on my computer. But didn't register it's email address thing. Now it says I had to do that in 24 hours and to get a new number by printing a new info sheet via the controls on the printer. I've been through everything and there is no way of doing this from what I can see. Help!

Hi,
In order to resolve such a problem click the ePrint button, under the Web Services menu select Remove Web Services.
Approve any prompt to confirm.
Now click teh ePrint button again and re-enable the Web Services, a new valid code will be printed.
