Can't replace existing workbook

We are having an issue moving in a workbook that is already in quality.  I created it then somebody else changed it in Quality and should not have so now I am trying to re-transport it and it fails.  Is it due to the owner now being the other person

Hi,
Do you have any roles associated to them. If so transport the queries along with the roles...Can you see the queries in tcode: RSRT ...have u checked the transport logs..did u trasnported the query elements long with the query..sometimes it may be missing..if so then re transport the queries by collecting all the query elements to the corresponding queries.

  • Can you replace existing images in Captivate 7 the way you can when using InDesign?

Can you replace existing images in Captivate 7 the way you can when using InDesign? I need to replace some images but wondering if I'll need to reformat, resize, rename for the Advanced Action, etc.

The work flow is a bit more complicated than in InDesign (keeps only a link to the image as you know in the frame). I understand the problem with the advanced/shared action references. This is my work flow, maybe someone else has an easier, shorter one:
Right-click on the image and use 'Find in Library' or use CTRL-ALT-F if it works on your keyboard (doesn't on my AZERTY one)
In the Library use the right-click menu to open the Properties or double-click the name of the image
In that dialog box, choose 'Import' and choose your new image; for some reason you cannot choose from the Library however, which I find really sad because I'm used to import all assets to the Library.
Drawback: if the new image has not the same width/height ratio, it will adapt to the original size of the image, you can use Edit image to repair. You'll keep the name of the image, you don't have to change advanced/shared actions.

  • How can I replace existing oracle-sequences using impdp?

I use impdp to transport table data from one database-instance to another (on a regular base).
I do this by using a database link.
Here is the content of the parameterfile for the impdp:
    NETWORK_LINK=dbl_backoffice
    INCLUDE=TABLE:" in ('SSU_CUSTOMERS','SSU_ORDERS','SSU_ORDERLINES')"
    INCLUDE=SEQUENCE:" in ('SEQ_ORDERNR','SEQ_CUSTNR')"
    TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION=REPLACE
Now, the mentioned tabels are neatly replaced however, the sequence-objects aren't because impdp reports :
ORA-31684: Object type SEQUENCE:"SSU"."SEQ_ORDERNR'" already exists
ORA-31684: Object type SEQUENCE:"SSU"."SEQ_CUSTNR'" already exists
It is understandable, because the impdp will issue create sequence statements and fails because they're already there (and there is no such thing as a import-parameter as SEQUENCE_EXISTS_ACTION=REPLACE or whatsoever).
I don't want to do a complete schema import, since I only want to refresh front-office data with a part of the back-office data.

You need a plugin called Flip4Mac to create a wmv on a Mac
    It plugs in to Quicktime.
WMV is generally unavailable on MAcs cos its a Windows thing ( Windows Media Video)
just like PorRes is not available generally on a Windows system.

  • Can I import audio into a clip, replacing existing audio?

I want to import audio from footage I've shot and use it to replace existing audio in a movie. Can that be done?

According to HT4622 you can copy audio into GarageBand from an app that supports copying audio to the clipboard. Once in GarageBand it would possible to make edits such as trimming or removing/repeating segments. You could then "share" the resulting song via email.
What kind of recording are we talking about? GarageBand has a maximum song length of 32 minutes (320 bars at 40bpm) which may affect its suitability for your project.

  • How can I replace just the corrupt page(s) in the domain file of iWeb using Time Machine?

I back up with Time Machine and have an extensive elaborate website I created in iWeb '09 over a couple months and publish to a local folder and then upload to my server, but in the last few days I notice certain pages (that I haven't even worked on or touched) somehow become corrupted or "cross-contaminated" with elements and images from other pages.  Once I see they are corrupt I make sure not to publish them (if the current published versions are the correct, non-corrupt versions) or if they did get published I can use Time Machine to retrieve the .html file and page files folder for that specific page and replace it in my published folder/server so it shows correctly on the Web.  However, that does not replace the corrupted page(s) you see and work with when you launch iWeb and try to edit or continue working on that page.
I am confused as to how I go to the package contents of the domain file and replace just that page with a previous version from time machine.  I don't want to replace the entire domain file because I have new changes I made to other pages even in the past hours.  How can I keep the good pages and just get earlier, non-corrupted versions of the corrupt page(s)? I know it's not as easy as with the published site folder where you can just replace the page's .html file and folder, but I don't want to have to re-create the corrupted page(s) from scratch or have to replace it with the last non-corrupted domain file and then have to redo all my recent changes to new pages I made before discovering the corrupt page(s).  Thanks for your help as now I can't make changes to the page(s) within iWeb itself.

Thanks for the response, Wyodor.  I don't know what that is, but I'll have a look.  Is it an alternative to iWeb or a way to transfer pre-existing iWeb sites?  When you say merge domain files, is that like so multiple copies of the same site show up then you can pick and choose the non-corrupted pages and group them then delete the corrupted ones?  I am on Snow Leopard with no plans or need to upgrade anytime soon.
And yes, I will read your links but just wanted to ask those questions.  Maybe they'll answer my questions, maybe not.
I was able to discern that within the domain file is a domain folder with all the site folders, each with their own page ".gz" files which expand into ".xml" files.  I was trying to figure out if you could simply drag the corrupt pages out that way and replace them with backup copies that are still good.  I am having trouble discerning which pages are which as they all have random names like site-page-30F175E3-AE33-4F10-A490-1A096D9B185B.xml and although I expanded and opened each in Text Wrangler, I still couldn't discern which were which for sure, and trial and error proved cumbersome.  Also, I did notice some of the later corrupted domain files had one or two more pages than the site itself has, so not sure how they got added or duplicated or what.
Again, I'll look at your links, but do you know about swapping out individual page .xml files this way within the domain file?

  • Why am I getting an error message when trying to replace existing music on itunes

How do I stop the error message from showing up when I try to replace existing music on my iTunes?

You are getting an error message because there is an error.
Knowing wht version of Pages you are using, what template you are attempting to open, and what error message Pages is sending you might help determine why you are getting that specific rror message. Without those, the first sentence above i pretty much all that can be said with any assurance.

  • Can't replace! Help!

Recently created new user account and have found new problem. When installing new version of Camino I was unable to simply drag it to Applications and replace existing version as i was told i do not have sufficient privileges.
I know i can just delete old version then install new one but as i used to be able to do the simple drag and replace i'm a little concerned that i can't anymore.
    Any guesses?

Hi Evets, and a warm welcome to the forums!
I presume the new user is Not Admin!?
There are two actual Applications folders, one at root, the other in our User.Home folder.
Open a Finder Window & drag Camino to the Applications folder in your home folder, or log in as the Admin user to do the old way.

  • How can I replace my start up hard drive in mac pro 2008?

Mi hd is geting old and I am worry about loosing Everything any time how can I replace my HD without reinstaling Every single Aplications?
    Any Advice thanks.

    Clone it.
Or install OS X and it will ask to use Setup Assistant and import everything when it sees another system drive.
Use cloning as a backup method.
Keep only the OS and apps and a small user library on the boot drive.
Now is a good time to invest in an SSD for your system.
A new drive for data and media files.
Use your existing drive(s) as backups and pull them once the system and data are copied, cloned, and moved over.
Use TimeMachine for some file backup as well.

  • EULOWNER access to ALL existing workbooks?

Here's my goal...I want to (need to) be able to review all existing workbooks. I am currently the "EULOWNER" and am able to export the workbooks. But this is not helpful as 1) it's in a format for import into an Disco instance and 2) if I import it the EULOWNER still doesn't gain access to these workbooks.
I found the workbooks in the doc_documents table, but they're in binary format in a LONG_RAW. I've tried numerous extraction techniques but none of the result in a file that is readable -- even in Discoverer.
Is this possile in ANY WAY?
    I am open to suggestions.
    Thanks in advance.
PS --- Disco 9.0.4 on Oracle 10g (Non Oracle Apps)

    Hi,
There is a way to do that and it was asked in the past in this forum.
You can search and find the methods that deals with the EUL tables but note that it can harm your Oracle support.
regarding the second thing you mentioned:
" if I import it the EULOWNER still doesn't gain access to these workbooks"
When you import you have the option to take ownership of the report and if you'll use it the you'll get access.
Any way perform it in a testing environment.

  • "Replace Existing Songs and Import Them Again" -- Yes or No?

It is too early in the mroning for me to get my head around this challenge.
I have a CD of an artist's "Greatest Hits."  When I go to import it into my iTunes Library I get this message:
I'm sure I have some of these songs on other albums / playlists / compliations / ...
What I want to do is import all the songs on the Greatest Hits and leave all my other songs unchanged.  Seems to me I don't want to replace them but I do want to import them again.
So do I hit "Replace Existing" or "Don't Replace?"
    Thanks

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 08 or later...
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called 'Import' or 'Importing'.
Drag it to the Desktop. *Make no other changes*.
    Start iPhoto. Does that help?
If it does then look inside that folder on your desktop. Does it contain anything you want? If not you can trash the folder.

    Hi
You can use a different version of the JDK by following these
    steps:
    1. Tools | Default Project Properties (or Project | Properties
    depending on your need).
    2. Target JDK version: Click Define.
    3. Click New. Browse for java.exe. The Class path and Source path
    will auto-populate.
    4. Click OK.
    5. Select the new target JDK for any existing projects you wish
    to use.

Your going to need to be able to make a copy of your data.
You may want to consider buying and using an external drive for your daily use.
    I believe the g5's have a firewire 800 port.
In case you decide to replace your internal drive.
    iMac g5 is SATA 1.0
    2.1 SATA revision 1.0 - 1.5 Gbit/s - 150 MB/s
Check to make sure you can reduce the speed to 1.5.  Some 6.0 drives have a plugable pin to reduce to 3.0 then auto negotiate from 3 to 1.5.
You can buy a dongle for 15 to 20 dollars to temporarily attach a harddrive to your system.
You need an external Firewire drive to boot a PowerPC Mac computer [ a few G5's will boot from USB ].
I recommend you do a google search on any external harddrive you are looking at.
I bought a low cost external drive enclosure. When I started having trouble with it, I did a google search and found a lot of complaints about the drive enclosure. I ended up buying a new drive enclosure. On my second go around, I decided to buy a drive enclosure with a good history of working with Macs. The chip set seems to be the key ingredient. The Oxford line of chips seems to be good. I got the Oxford 911.
    I'd give OWC a call. 1-815-338-8685.

Carbon Copy Cloner will copy your startup drive to an external  firewire drive.  You can boot from the external drive to verify that you have a good clone. When you upgrade your existing startup drive, you can at any time boot from your external drive and go back to your existing system.
