Can't send or receive txt on pearl 8120

I have done something to my blackberry pearl 8120, when I open my message icon from the home screen it says No message services configured.  You will only be able to save draft.  I was able to send and receive msgs prior to getting this message, can someone please help me with this.

Try resetting the device taking out the battery for 30 seconds and install it again.

    Hi, I have had my blackberry for a year and have had no issues so far.  However this morning I cannot send or receive any emails and I am travelling now for 2 weeks and really worried... can anyone help or advise what I should do.

    Hi, thanks for your help and suggestion, I also just called Orange here in the UK, my service provider and there is a general problem with the blackberry server since last night, they are working on it, but she could not say when it would be fixed.

    Is this on wifi or cellular data?
    Have you tried a reset? Hold down the home/power button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
    Have you gone into the email settings and making sure the password are still there?

    Hi Have you got WiFi or just a mobile signal If you can get a good mobile signal  but no wifi you need a WiFi dongle Not the plug in type the stand alone one you can run upto 5 devices at once You can get one on contact  or PAY& GO Ask someone to get one for you from shop go for the best  Mobile signal were you need to use it If you are in the UK EE on 4G are best.     That's right. You can only send an iMessage to another iPhone. You can send text messages to anyone that has a phone capable of receiving texts.
    Edit: Did your original subject say iMessage? I could swear it did. I'm sorry if it didn't. Ignore this then.

    I believe the root cause is IOS5.01. same problem on my iphone4s with IOS5.01. Now I have a expensive I-touch!  wake up steve.............. I suggest you change your sim cark from 64k to 128k. or just waiting next generation IOS.

  • My iPhone4 loses signal and when I do hard reset, I can't send or receive SMS and calls. I have to back-up and restore weekly!

    It started last month before I ungraded to iOS5. So my network provider advised me to upgrade. It fixed the problem but it happens again after several days. I lose signal then when I do hard reset, signal is back but I can't send or receive SMS or make and receive calls. But from the other end my phone is ringing but nothing is happening to my phone.This is really frustrating! Coz it happens weekly and the only way to fix it is to back-up and restore. Which is a hassle coz it takes me about 3 hours! Please help. My phone is still under warranty but the provider is telling me it might take them 3 months to check and fix.
    I think there is a bug with the iOS5 coz it happen when it I upgraded. Before I was quite happy with my iPhone4 but now it has become a source of anxiety and stress. I've received a lot of complaints at work coz they couldn't contact me.

  • Moved hosting of email and now can't send or receive emails

    did a search on the forum but can seem to find a solution to my problem. 
    so has any one ever had any problems with removing an email account (with estreet) and then adding a new account (with Dreamhost.com) to a blackberry?
    it is the same email address but we moved the hosting last night.... vocapr.com
    My client can't send or receive email but isn't getting an error message ... just nothing is happening. She can send and receive via Outlook and on my iphone.

    If your using BIS - Log into your BIS account and delete the email address and recreate it again - the email server details  are pointing to the wrong email server.
    If your using BES ,then the BES needs to get the correct Mail Server details - Delete the user form the BES and add them back, then reactivate the Handset.
