Can't set up windows on bootcamp, keyboard doesn't work

okay, i wait through the agony of the windows install non-sense, and it comes up to the part where i have to set up windows (name, accounts, etc.). But when i go to enter all my info, my keyboard doesn't work, or my mouse for that matter. I have a 24" iMac with the wireless keyboard and mouse. I don't know what to do!

Requirements
To use Boot Camp, you need:
1. *An Intel-based Macintosh computer with a built-in or USB keyboard and a built-in trackpad or USB mouse.*
2. Mac OS X 10.5 or later
3. The latest firmware updates available for your Intel-based Mac.
4. At least 10 GB of free space on your startup disk (single partition).
5. A full, single-disc version of Windows Vista, Windows XP Home Edition or Professional with Service Pack 2 or later. Boot Camp does not include Windows. You must provide your own properly licensed installation disc.
Important: A Windows XP installation disc must include Service Pack 2 (SP2). You cannot install an earlier version of Windows and upgrade to Windows XP, nor install an earlier version of Windows XP and update it to SP2.

Windows via Bootcamp keyboard/mouse not working???

I have a 15" Macbook Pro and have installed Windows 7 Ultimate via bootcamp with all the correct apple support drivers but suddenly my keyboard/mouse will not work at the sign in screen for Windows at all. Up untill this point I could restart my mac and resign in through the windows partition and easily play my favorite games. Recently I tried signing into windows but at the sign in screen I cannot use my mouse nor my keyboard. Please do not tell me to reinstall windows unless that is the only solution because of data not backed up. Is it a driver issue, how can that be because it worked fine for weeks? Please get back to me as soon as possible!!

Processor 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 8 GB (Raam) 1600MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeGorce GT 650M 1024MB
Software OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion)

If the mouse and keyboard are working under OSX then it can't be a hardware issue.
You could try:
starting Windows in safe mode to see if the mouse and keyboard work. (Press F8 repeatedly just before Windows starts to boot to bring up the Windows boot menu.) Safe mode loads a set of basic drivers to just get Windows running and no more.
Another thing you can try is unplug the mouse and re-plug it in after a few seconds while at the login window. The USB ports may re-detect the mouse.
Try booting from a Windows PE CD or USB stick if you have one. If the keyboard and mouse work under Windows PE then it's probably a driver issue under your Windows install.
Did you install anything under Windows before this happened?

10.8.6 Column view. Can we set the window width to resize to it's longest file?

I have a MacBook Pro, 10.8.6. I always have my windows open in Column view. Can we set the window width to resize to it's longest file? I'm always having to manually make the width wider and it's annoying.

my problem is i have some drawing in the panel.when i minimize the window it will disappear because it is dynamically getting drawn.So, for capuring the old drawing, i store the coordinates into the vector and
trying to redraw by calling a method when applet gets
maximized.
Initially the application was a stand alone , so i used
JFrame and window listener and whenever frame gets activated , i used to redraw the line . Now we have changed to applet.
And i tried to implement window listener, i could not able to add listener to the contenetPane.
So i decided to call my drawing method from START(),Since start is been called whenever applet is activated.I decided to do so.
But the problem is ,it is calling the method,identifying the
coordinates but the lines are not appearing in the screen.
My suspection is, it is drawing the line and once again
repainting the screen automatically.
If u people wants to see am ready to post the code.

Last night my apple wireless keyboard stop working in windows. It is working perfectly fine in the OS system though. I have checked control panel in Windows 7 and found out that under Device management "apple keyboard" has an issue there, I have tried to follow the steps windows suggest but it doesn't work...How can I fix this please? To get the disk out restart while holding down the mouse button. To get back to OS X restart while holding the option key and when the boot screen appears select the volume with OS X.

What OS X are you running and do you have USB or Wireless input devices...?

USB keyboards and mice generally don't have connection issues, but they and there cords do occasionally go bad.

Do you have a wired or wireless keyboard? If you have a wireless one, using a wired one temporarily might help with this. Otherewise, it sounds like you have a hardware failure, possibly hard drive or logic board. In any case I would then recommend taking it in for a Diagnosis and service.

Does the command that you're trying to enter in Terminal begin with the word 'sudo'?
If so, your keyboard is working fine. When you type your password after a sudo command, nothing is echoed to the screen for security reasons (not even the * that are normally registered in other user interfaces). However, the program is registering what you type.
Just type your password and press 'return' and the command will be executed (so long as you type it correctly; if you don't, you'll get an error message).

I have a serious problem with my A60: the keyboard doesn't work any more. I have tried a lot of solutions and the last one, recovery with the Product Recovery DVD-ROM doesn't work, because I can't use the keyboard!!
When the screen with the 3 choices appears, I have no possibility to answer!!

They keyboard might not be the problem or it might not be connected properly to the motherboard the best thing to do is take it to a service centre it shouldn't cost you anything, if it is still under warranty...but if it is just the keyboard and your laptop is out of warranty then it should cost you more than 100-200....can't say how much exactly because I have no idea.

Did you do a restart or a reset?
Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears)
If that didn't help, you have to write to/wait for the developer to update the software.

Problem with XP Pro sp1 install - keyboard doesn't work - MBP

After using bootcamp to repartition the HD and rebooting with an xp pro sp1 cd, the blue windows installer loads and runs fine up to where you need to press the enter button to install windows or F3 to exit. At this point, the keyboard doesn't work at all and I have to push the power button. I also can not load osx or the osx boot disc, but the xp disc still loads fine. Currently working on slipstreaming a w/ sp2 to see if this will fix the problem. Prior to bootcamp, I upgraded osx and my firmware. Anyone else encounter this?

You need to use SP2. There is a reason it's recommended by Apple. If you have a valid XP install disk you can easily slipstream it with SP2, which is perfectly legal and effective, and is a relatively painless process.

My Apple Wireless Keyboard doesn't work (not response) on Vista Ultmate but its works properly in Mac OS X 10.5.2...
Should I install the driver in Mac OS first or update the keyboard firmware?
Or install a driver for Windows Vista (I can't find any on web...)
