Can't start up : (  e:[AppleUSBBluetoothHCIControllers][FindInterfaces] mIn

Hi! I have an old mac mini ppc 1.5Ghz, today i was trying to reinstall leopard but i got message that i wasnt going to be able to do it, then i checked to start on mac os x 10.5.4 (yeah sorry i didnt update) but anyway after the restart, i only got the blue screen loading and loading...but nothing.
I tried "Command+X", "Command+S", "Command+C" & to reset vpram, but nothing. I am only able to enter on verbose mode. In verbose mode I have at the end this message which i guess is the error, can someboy explain me what it means?

    Can you start a iphone4s without a SIM card? Because mine is arriving next week.

    Turning an iPhone or any phone for that matter on has nothing to do with a SIM being installed.
    All iPhones require a SIM card for activation.  The SIM does not need to be active, but it must be from the carrier the device is locked to.

  • How can I start a new paragraph within the same table cell?

    In Numbers, when adding text within a table frame, how can I start a new line within the same frame (rather than advancing to the next cell)?  I'd like to enter a mini-list of several items of various lengths of data.

    While Wayne's answer solves your problem, another possibility is to uncheck the box at the bottom of the Table inspector for "Return key moves to next cell." If that is unchecked, the return key types a paragraph return within the cell (the same as Option Return with the box checked).
    With that box unchecked, Shift Return types a soft return (new line without a paragraph break).

    I downloaded the new iOS 7 and i can't open safari in my iPad mini, what's going on?

    You can't open it meaning it does not launch when you tap on the app icon? If that's what's happening try this and then see if Safari will launch.
    Go to Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and Data.
    Now close Safari. To close Safari, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to Safari and then swipe "up" on the Safari thumbnail app to close it.
    Now reboot the iPad. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
    If Safari does launch and this isn't what you are experiencing - you need to explain in more detail what is going on.

    Sounds like your actual installation of XE failed.  What append when you tried to install it?
    True. I removed all the Oracle stuff from my machine using this page's instructions ( ORACLE-BASE - Manual Oracle Uninstall )  and then re-install the XE again and now it is working.
    Only problem is that when installing I could not give the Oracle Base directory properly.
    I gave c:\oracle as the destination direcotry. Then the Oracle Base is taken as that (c:\oracle), BUT
    the Oracle Home comes as c:\oracle\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server.
    According to OFA, if c:\oracle is the ORACLE_BASE, then the ORACLE_HOME should be
    c:\oracle\product\11.2.0\server_1, but it creates the app\oracle sub-directories beneath the oracle base???
    Also, can I install more than 1 oracle XE DB in the same machine? I tried but you only get repair and delete options int eh OUI.

    Is there a DBCA which comes with XE. I looked around and I can't find one. Am I correct to say the XE does not have a DBCA?

    Please, if somebody knows this problem I need a very urgent help. Thank you very much.

    Thanks ALL, I GOT IT, but I used other solution.
    Since I installed and uninstalled the Oracle several times, it keeps also many different Services for the listener. I don't know why, it didn't create a Service for my actual instalation with its path. In other words, all the services remained in the services.msc panel, had the path that was already removed from the Windows folder.
    Then what I did, was that I picked one service, took its name (OracleOraDb10g_home1TNSListener), went to regedit to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\OracleOraDb10g_home1TNSListener] and simply changed the image path that was setted for the one that was removed (C:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Db_2\BIN\TNSLSNR ) for mine that is installed right now
    (C:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Db_1\BIN\TNSLSNR). Nothing more and finally works.
    I have tried something in the services.msc panel before, as you can see in this forum at the thread "I can't start listener in the Control Painel/Admin Tools/ Services", but I never got
    success.
    Appreciate your time!!

    hi,Jay
    i followed the steps as follow:
    1、change prod mode to dev
    2、modified the config.xml entrys on the all two servers:
    <node-manager-password-encrypted>test</node-manager-password-encrypted>
    <credential-encrypted>test</credential-encrypted>
    <embedded-ldap>
    <name>cluster_domain</name>
    <credential-encrypted>test</credential-encrypted>
    </embedded-ldap>
    3、enrolled the node, then started the two adminservers, started server2's nodemanager..server2 can be started from the cluster admin console.
    4、change the dev mode to prod mode on admin console, it failed throw error:
    "in production mode, it's not allowed to set a clear text value to the property: CredentialEncrypted of SecurityConfigurationMBean"
    i checked the config.xml ,the entrys i had changed were not aotomatically encrypted,may i manually encryp the clear text value? ..follow is the config.xml :

  • SLD Server can not start

    Dear Experts,<br>
    I need your help...<br>
    <br>
    I installed ABAP+Java stack (ECC6.0 and SAP J2EE Engine/7.00 PatchLevel 109886.44).<br>
    When I view http://myserver01:50000/sld, I saw that the SLD server is stoped and I can not start it even I click "Start Sever button", system gave me error message "Failed to send start signal for complete cluster, SLD may still be stopped on other cluster nodes.".<br>
    <br>
    I checked the log in Administration tab, the log said:<br>
    ===========================================<br>
    #4 12/20/2009 19:40:06.390 [SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_6] FATAL com.sap.lcr.start.StartDirector: SLD start failure, unable to activate the SLD CIMOM. Check the log of the persistence medium for any errors. If the error is reproducible, please send a message to SAP. More...<br>
    #3 12/20/2009 19:40:06.375 [SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_6] FATAL <br>com.sap.lcr.objmgr.core.TransactionContainerChangeBuffer: Storing changes to cache failed. Please restart the application to reinitialize the cache.(Error: CIM_ERR_FAILED: Failed to initialize cluster notification sender.) More...<br>
    #2 12/20/2009 19:40:06.375 [SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_6] ERROR com.sap.lcr.cimsrv.ClusterNotificationSender$JMSSender: Failed to initialize cluster notification sender. Please check your JNDI service and JMS provider for errors. More...<br>
    #1 12/20/2009 19:40:06.31 [SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_6] FATAL com.sap.lcr.cimsrv.CIMOMServlet: SLD initialization failure, can not set up cluster-wide event notification. Please check your JMS provider for errors. More...<br>
    #0 12/20/2009 19:40:06.31 [SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_6] ERROR com.sap.lcr.cimsrv.ClusterNotificationListener: Failed to initialize cluster notification. Please check your JNDI service and JMS provider for errors. More... <br>
    ===========================================<br>
    <br>
    Could any one  tell me how to start up the SLD? <br>
    More information: When I click Administration>details>Data, I saw:<br>
    ==================<br>
    Nothing Available<br>
    Model Version (sld/active):     No model loaded<br>
    SAP CR Content Version (sld/active):     (SLD server stopped)<br>
    ==================<br>
    But when I checked the location of E:\usr\sap\EC6\SYS\global\sld\model, I can see cimsap.zip and CR_Content.zip files there.<br>
    <br>
    <br>
    <br>
    Further more, I was a little bit confused about the SLD HTTP Port, that is during the installation parameter setting phase (SAP Sytem-> Central SLD), I choose SLD destination as "Register in existing central SLD(default)", and set SLD port to "8089", SLD Data Supplier User as "SLDDSUSER", but I can not find user "SLDDSUSER" in ABAP SU01, it's very strange. when I tried to view http://myserver01:8089/sld, it said "Page can not be found", could you tell me what's the difference between these two URL: Http://myserver01:8089/sld and http://myserver01:50000/sld?<br>
    <br>
    There are totally two questions(one problem and one question) of mine, any suggestions is welcome and it's surely that I will follow up and close this thread for the effective solutions.
    <br>
    Thank you very much in advance.<br>
    <br>
    Best regards,<br>
    Nick<br>

    Hi Nick,
    1. Is SLD a pure java component that ABAP system should connect it through gateway port (JCo or something else..) and Java engine connect it directly with HTTP/HTTPS?
    Above statment is right
    2. So, the mechanism of Solution manager to manage all the systems is also based on SLD? Can we monitor all the system landscape without Solution manager, just SLD instead?
    SLD is central repositoy to store system data present in landscape , Solution manager is used to monitor all the system using SLD also.
    We can't montior system by just using SLD.
    3. The functionality of the Visual Administrator->Cluster->Server->Services->SLD Data Supplier is to provide user inforamtion of the system that will be registered info. onto the SLD server, not configuring the SLD Server? (SLD is configured through Webpage port 50000 and to-be registered server is configured through Visual Administrator?
    SLD Data Supplier is a area in As java system where you provide the information of existing SLD system ( the Exisiting SLD mean where SLD services is running )
    SLD is purely java component
    user SLDDSUSER belongs to the "TO-BE Registered" system, not the SLD server, am I understanding right?
    SLDDSUSER belong to SLD server
    so, the event of "Trigger SLD data transfer" is to send system information to the SLD Server
    Yes.
    Thanks
    Anil

  • CAN WE START AND STOP THE CONTROL CENTER SERVICES USING OMB?

    Hi All,
    I'm new into the world of OMB and currently i have been working with OMB scripts and i just need to know whether i am able to start the control center services using OMB...?
    Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Shenoy

    Those specifications are not for the "last" mac mini, but for the mid-2011 Mac Mini: Macmini5,2.
    While that model came with Lion and could not be downgraded to Snow Leopard out of the box, look for the work done by newfoundglory https://discussions.apple.com/people/newfoundglory in this thread on how to accomplish an install of Snow Leopard that will allow that model of Mac Mini to boot into Snow Leopard, if it is that important to you:
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3209335?start=0&tstart=0

  • Istance can't start after a re-boot

    Windows Box with Oracle and NW04s, after a re-boot, istance can't start.
    Have you got any idea ?
    dbs_ora_schema & bdbs_ora_tnsname are seted.

    Hello again.
    That doesn't work for me! I have already installed hal and fam, but kdm still doesn't log me in kde4.
    I ran "startx" from my user prompt, and i can use kde now, but when I ran kdm as root, I can log in.
    quarkup, here is the output.
    [~]$ ls -la .*authority
    -rw------- 1 juan users 54 Feb 7 17:31 .Xauthority
    I supposed that i have to configure kdm, i was looking for more information when i saw this post.
    that's ok..
      the .ICEauthority was the file which needed a chown/chmod to let me go into kde.. but it's ok i guess, since you don't have it.
    mine is somehow like this:
    ~$ ls -la .*authority
    -rw-rw---- 1 quarkup quarkup 64K Fev 2 13:20 .ICEauthority
    -rw------- 1 quarkup root 1,4K Fev 7 21:55 .Xauthority
    > KDM must be configured to allow the "root" user to access the X11 session - in:   systemsettings > Login Manager > Users(6)  (root account has the uid=0)
    hope it helps you.
    I don't really use the root account for anything, only the very necessary stuff..

  • I can't start INdesign CS6

    A colleague of mine bought Indesign CS6, and he can't start the software.
    We are part of the same domain, but he's a "normale employee" and I am part of our IT division. And it's policy with us that any software can only be installed with a user with admin priviliges.
    When I install it with my admin user it all works fine. But when a normal user tries to open the software it shows the splash screen and then it just says that it has encountered a problem. There is no specific error message or error code.
    When I go into Active Directory and I remove the logon script, we can also start up the software.
    When I called Adobe they said I had to give admin priviliges to the user, but that is not what is supposed to happen. The software should just work for every user on the desktop/notebook it's installed on.
    So I'm guessing it's probably something in the registry I should do. Anyone has any idea what?

    We're seeing a number of similar reports. I can't run as a standard user on Windows 7, either (but since i'm the only user here, I run as admin anyway so I never noticed until the other day when someone else brought it up.
    It's some sort of permissions issue, and I think you can work around it by telling the system to run ID as administrator and turning off UAC, but you shouldn't have to do that, and probably don't want to for a variety of valid reasons. Does your comapny have a support contract? I think this is something that needs to be handled by tech support, and probably a patch needs to be issued, but I don't know that it's a universal problem -- we don't have hundreds of complaints and I'm sure there are thousands of cases where it actually is working or we'd be inundated.

    Hi Sybrand Bakker,
    Listener has been started. But users are getting following errors.Uh, you forgot to give the error the users are getting, but I can pretty well guess it is ora-12514.
    See my post on this error at http://edstevensdba.wordpress.com/2011/03/19/ora-12514/
    It is by far the most read post on my blog.
    I checked Listener status and found below lines.
    LSNRCTL> status
    Connecting to (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=)(PORT=1521))
    STATUS of the LISTENER
    Alias LISTENER
    Version TNSLSNR for Linux: Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Production

    Uptime 0 days 7 hr. 46 min. 57 sec
    Trace Level off
    Security ON: Local OS Authentication
    SNMP OFF
    Listener Parameter File /opt/oracle/product/10.2.0/network/admin/listener.ora
    Listener Log File /opt/oracle/product/10.2.0/network/log/listener.log
    Listening Endpoints Summary...
    (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=linux-BIMSTR)(PORT=1521)))
    The listener supports no services
    The command completed successfully
    I copied & paste here the same lines (No change at any place).
    I hope it gives you, Listener's configuration idea.
    Do you have any idea about these services? How can i start these services? And why in first line (Host=)?
    Thx.

    I had to reboot my iMac, it froze... When I went to reboot it started up as usual... Made power sound, showed apple logo (white screen)... And pin wheel started after 3 to 4 mins., went to black screen with error messages. Rebooted 5x, shot off power source, disconnected external devices... Now won't go past pinwheel... Since it does not go to black screen, I cannot convey error messages... Please advise what I could try... Thank you... I have an iMac 2009... Upgrade operating system to new system this spring... Don.

    It is guitardad's again... I read past topics on this issue... As I am not overly computer savvy, I want to be careful that I don't mess things up further... Of course the extended warranty is done... There is talk about booting from the system disc...  I'm not sure if this is the first thing to do or not... Can the support community, advise me on what logical steps I should take ( in order) or direct me to a website and/ or you tube video that walks one safely through the processes... Once again thank you for reading and offering your advice... I am on fixed $$$ so I'm trying to avoid calling apple, unless I have no options and/or the suggestions do not resolve the issues... Tx again Don.
