Can't sync hunger games digital copy to ipad or iPad mini.

I have recently downloaded the hunger games digital copy to my MacBook. I am able to play this movie fine from itunes however I am unable to sync to movie to either my ipad2 or ipad mini. Everytime I attempt to sync to movie I get the following error iTunes could not copy "the Hunger Games" to the iPad because the file could not be read or written

iPad mini ios 6.0.2
Any recomendations would be great

I am looking at my itunes with my iPad not attached. Videos I added appear under the movies tab in my library.

I see everywhere that people are using CDs, but If I were to just buy the software online and transfer the information onto another medium, will that give me the same results, or do I need a Windows CD?

So I have found a common denominator to this phenomenon. After having the same problem, I started to recopy my playlist of 500+ songs in groups of 10-20, 30+, 75+, and then over a 100+. Any music I have purchased from iTunes won't copy, but everything else did. Unsure if I made a playlist called "Purchased" at some point or this is an iTunes default, I also noticed it had some of the songs contained in my other playlist and was showing on my iPhone. Regardless of what I did such as dragging music from that playlist to the other and clearing songs from that playlist, I removed it altogether from the iPhone itself vs. doing through iTunes. After that, music copied fine to my playlist.
So, my theory is that iTunes is getting tripped up on purchased tracks already showing on the phone and all songs are showing grayed out/dotted circle because iTunes can't resolve the conflict with purchased tracks.

I understand the need for all of your calendars to be up to date across all of your devices and how frustrating it can be when they are not syncing as you would expect. In this situation I would suggest reading over and using the attached article for troubleshooting.

No it't okay I finally figured it out!
I went to 'devices and printers'
it listed all the devices plugged in and on 'ipod' and 'iphone' there was a yellow '!' I clicked it and it troubleshooted the issue and now everything is working yay!

when i redeem the code in the itunes store it appears that i can only view this on iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.

Yes, you can view it on any device you own, unless there's a very unusual restriction I've never encountered. I have a number of digital copies and all appear and are playable on my Apple TV without problems.

Why can't I find a digital copy of a movie?

I supposedly used a digital copy code of a movie I purchased. Bluray/Digital Copy DVD
I look for it in my iTunes library and it is not there, yet if I try to enter the code, it tells me I have already used that code.
Where did my digital copy go?

Forgive what may be a dumb question in my part, but you have confirmed that the digital copy is for iTunes, not Ultraviolet as some DVDs use instead, and that you're clicking the correct link if there's a choice? Just want to make sure.
If you're sure it's for iTunes, what movie is it? Just about all digital copy offers have an expiration date, though the movie studios usually won't tell you about that up front, so if the movie is on that was released more than a year or so ago, it's possible that the offer for the movie you have has expired.

Since the most recent iPhoto upgrade, I can't sync photos from iPhoto to my iPhone or iPad. This is so frustrating! whereas previously all I had to do was put 'sync' as a keyword,

Why can I no longer export photos from iPhoto to my iPhone and iPad? Previously, when I used 'sync' as a keyword for a photo, it automatically exported to the other devices when they were synced with computer. This no longer happens so I don't know how to get photos from the computer onto my iPhone & iPad. Can anyone help as it's most annoying. So often updating software has really negative side-effects such as this.

I add the keyword 'sync' to any photos I want added to the iPhone/iPad.
Then, during the regular process of syncing the iPhone/iPad with my computer (mac), the photos with that keyword would be copied onto the iPhone, iPad.
I've been doing it this way ever since I was shown how to; ie after I got my iPhone 2 years ago. And every time the process worked - until the last few weeks. Suddenly it doesn't do it any more.
I believe I have upgraded software (either iTunes or iPhoto or both) during this period. I try to keep my software updated but have noticed previously that the new version often is disappointing.
I've not tended to use Smart albums much.

You can use iCloud with the same account set on both devices and both set to sync music.
