Can't update Photoshop to 14.1.1 release

As per title.
I tried almost everything. I uninstalled the Creative Cloud updater, and reinstalled. I removed the temp files from the hidden MAC folders.
But, still I keeping on getting the error message I'm not connected to the internet and, of course, I am.
In order to verify the proper connection (as well as the firewall setup and things like that), I've tried downloading another software (in this case was the Extended toolkit) and enerything went smoothly with no errors whatsoevere.
So, looks like it's just the Photoshop update which is not working (error's screen shot attached).
Any ideas?
I run on a MBP updated few days ago to the last ML 10.8.5 (could it be the reason?).

P.S.: Right now, I'm connected wireless through the company server/connection, but it hasn't ever been a problem to update softwares.

contacted customer service they could not help me I have previously had Photoshop on two other computers I deactivated it from one computer to put on a new one put. Can not do the updates I need them for camera Raw.

Can not update Photoshop CC (64-bit) 14.0 to 14.2. Initially the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application would also not update (an error message was generated), and I was getting an error message when I attemped to update Photoshop CC using the Application Manager. Once I fixed the Creative Cloud updating problem, I ran the update from the Creative Cloud application and it appeared to work. On checking I found that the 32-bit version of Photoshop CC was updated but not the 64-bit version. When I bring up the Creative Cloud application it tells me Photoshop CC is up to date, even though the 64-bit version is not. Even the Application Manager brought up in Photoshop CC (64-bit) tells me Photoshop is up to date.

As I mentioned, there is an error while trying to update photoshop, camera raw, etc. I receives message when you try to download the update, an error occurred. Exit and try again later.

Can't update Photoshop at all on OSX 10.6.4

Photoshop 11.0 runs on my iMac, but is buggy and frequently crashes. I have never been able to install updates, I get this message: ""The disk image can not be accessed." I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still can't update. Any suggestions?

When you did your uninstall did you do it from the CD?
Then before you reinstalled did you one reboot, second run the Adobe CS Clean Script, and third reboot again before the reinstall?

Can't update Photoshop CC

I am unable to update Photoshop CC. Both Creative Cloud and Photoshop say everything is up to date, but it is not. I am currently stuck on 14.1.2 and am running Windows 7 64 bit on a desktop PC (not in an enterprise environment) . Can you please advise what steps are needed to get the updates to happen?

Well, some success... still some issues.
I did not uninstall Photoshop, but I did rename the 4-folders listed above in step 17. After that, went to launch Photoshop and got error 16 and it would not open. I tried to open CC Control panel and it said no programs are installed, asking me to choose what I wanted. I installed Bridge with no issues and then Photoshop. The Photoshop install said patch failed U44M1P7. The update button was still present so I tried again- with same results. I tried opening Photoshop and got... could not load the Fast Core Routines module because it does not work with this version of Photoshop. Upon dismissing message, I got same wording with MMXCore Routines and then Multi proccessor support mentioned. I dismissed those and then Photoshop opened and it shows I am running version 14.2.1 now (yeah!). I have tried opening and closing several times and it seems to work okay. However, CC Control Panel now shows:

Why can't I, or how can I, update Photoshop Elements 11 to open D7100 RAW files?

I purchased Elements 11 via the App Store, and cannot find a way to update the software so that the newest version of ACR (7.4) will work with it.
Some places seem to say that if I puchased through the App Store then I can only update the programme when Apple releases an official update! Is this seriously the case, so although Adobe have released a new version of ACR to allow users who purchased elsewhere to update the software, App Store users cannot?!
If this, ludicrously, is the case is there any information on when this update will occur? The D7100 has been out for over two months now.
I contacted Adobe and they said I have to speak to Apple as I purchased through them, and that they cannot help. However, the only support button I can find relating to Elements 11 on the App Store directs me to the Adobe pages! Rather frustrating.
Is there any other way that I can contact someone at Apple for some support on this?
(The D5100 I used to have worked fine, so it is definitely the case that it is the newer files compatibility that is causing the issue)

Apple waits for Adobe to provide updates to them (just because Adobe has made the update available as a direct download does not mean they provided the update to Apple at the same time). Then everything in the App store is vetted before it gets updated. It takes time, so there is always a lag between the Adobe version and the App store version.

Can't update Photoshop CS2 to 9.0.2

Hi I just got a new plugin*, and it won't install/show up correctly under "Filters". Their tech support says its a known issue with 9.0
I've tried everything to get it to update to 9.0.2. i've ran the adobe updater, i've downloaded the .dmgs for 9.0.1 and 9.0.2. I've reinstalled Photoshop, I've trashed preferences, I've loggin in under a different user.
the only thing i haven't tried is a clean install. Anyone have any other suggestions to force an update?

This is the filter i'm installing. I've installed it on another computer with CS3 and it works fine.

Routine maintenance is imperative.
I still advocate Repairing Permissions (with Apple's Disk Utility) before AND after any system update or upgrade, as well as before AND after installing any software that requires an installer that asks for your password.
I have seen software installations go sour because the installer did not find everything as and where it should be.
I have also seen software installations go bad because the installer did not clean up after itself properly and did not leave everything as and where it should be.
This is just my own personal opinion and practice based on my own observations. Others may disagree and that's OK. I can only base my routines and my advice to others on my own experience and conclusion. I don't pretend to know why others believe otherwise.
Repairing Permissions after the fact (i. e. not immediately before and after an install) seldom helps.; Try it anyway, though.

Additionally, if your machine does not run 24/7 so that it runs the daily, weekly and monthly Cron Scripts in the middle of the night as intended by Apple, run Cocktail (shareware) as well.
Cron Scripts are maintenance routines designed by Apple to run on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in the middle of the night.
If you don't run them, you WILL run into trouble, sooner rather than later.

There have been comments to the effect that Apple "fixed" this in 10.4.2 and later versions of the OS, but I have not been able to verify this to my satisfaction. The reference in the 10.4.2 release notes are far from explicit on this subject.

I did a re-run just now, Jeff, and checked /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers as described at

The problem is that Application Manager is failing without writing any log files, so there is no diagnostic information at all (or is it perhaps writing the log files somewhere else?) My guess is that it's only when it goes to close the file that the error occurs.
I was a beta tester for Adobe Photoshop CS6, and my day job is that of forensic software analyst, so I'm happy to dig into this further if you can tell me where to dig!
The only long file that was create in the last month or so was one created yesterday for the manual update I did for InDesign, so I think the problem is with Application Manager. I am now running App. Mgr. version 7.0.0.62 fwiw.
This "feels" like a permissions problem -- the App. Manager does ask for authentication, though.
Permissions for /Library/Logs are:

The Adobe web site announces that Photoshop CC 14.2 is now available. I'm now using 14.0 which the Creative Cloud tells me is up-to-date. I quit and restarted Creative Cloud, but got the same message that my Photoshop 14.0 is up-to-date. Within Photoshop CC 14.0 I tried updating but also got the message that I'm up-to-date. How does one update to 14.2?

AAM logs
For Mac:
/Volumes/%Volume Name%/Users/%Username%/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0
For Win:
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater
You can zip all the files together and send us through mail ([email protected]). This would help us in finding the root cause.

I Can't Update Photoshop CS6

Hi,
I'm currently working with Photoshop CS6 on a Mac, and there are some bugs like Polygonal Lasso tools and Zoom In/Zoom Out short cut which frequently non-functional.
I tried to update the Photoshop CS6 (and my Illustrator CS6) and this is what it says:
Adobe Illustrator CS6 Update (version 16.0.4)
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I208
Dynamic Link Media Server CS6 1.0.1 Update
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I208
Adobe Photoshop 13.0.6
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I216
I hope Adobe can come up with a solution fast, as the bugs are kind of hindering the speed of my work.

Dana the U44M1I208 error indicates that the signature of the file to be installed is invalid. The U44M1I216 error indicates the Update Reference state is invalid. In both cases the recommend solution is to try applying the update again.
Considering you had two U44M1I208 errors I would recommend you try utilizing a different Internet connection. If you are on a wireless connection please try a wired connection. If you are already on a wired connection perhaps try an alternate source and/or a different cable.
