Can't upgrade with less than a month on contract left....don't want "The Edge" program either
My husband and I are both due for upgrades May 14, 2014 (less than a month away)- we were refused a new 2 year contract with the purchase of 2 Samsung S5 phones yesterday in store and told to call customer service and they would adjust our update date. After 45 minutes on the phone with them, mostly on hold waiting to speak with a supervisor because their cs rep was rude, we were told they would approve an early upgrade for any phone EXCEPT the one we want. They would rather makes us wait to upgrade 30 days, with my husbands phone not holding a charge, and allow us time to decide which provider we want to move to than sign us to two new two year contracts. Is this how loyal customers are treated?
CAUTION: If u currently have an UNLIMITED DATA PLAN... then, u do NOT want to use your upgrade, because u loose it, after the upgrade!!! ... I still have the old UNLIMITED DATA PLAN, because, they told me, I'd loose it, if I upgraded... only way to keep your unlimited data plan, is to get a phone from online... Amazon, ebay, or pay full price for a phone,which stinks, but it's better then loosing unlimited data!

iOS devices are meant to be single user and can't view iCloud.com the same way a Mac or PC can do.
You need to find a desktop or laptop machine (Mac or PC) to log in at iCloud. -

In less than 3 months I have had to buy 2 more cables... None work anymore... Why is this cable so fragile that even though I don't twist or turn it, it ends up malfunctioning all of a sudden? The regular 30 pin cable has a much longer "life cycle". I bought an adapter and am charging my devices (iphone5 and mini Ipad) with it. Had a similar problem. Lightening cable is not up to the job, it gets twisted easily and breaks. Had the old type on an IPhone 4 that has lasted over 2 years, but the lightening lasted less than three months. Cardiff store did not want to know about this problem and tried to sell me a new one for £14.00, absolutely shocking aft sales care.

I have purchase MSI geforce 570 gtx twin frozer after reading too many good things about it. MSI is famous as being the best quality brand for VGA boards but i had no luck with my first purchase of the brand. I'm currently using it now, it allows me to use web and other low resources apps with no problem but any game that I play, after 2 -3 mins of playing, it gets my screen full of weird colorful artifacts and freezes. Sometimes it sends me to desktop with a message "the display driver stopped working and recovered itself" (something along these lines, i use windows in portuguese).
What can be done in this case? Did i just lose my VGA with less than 2 years use? I'm searching for the manuals/box for it to check the warranty period, but until i find it could you please tell me if i still can get help from warranty?

How do I get my Ipod to play music videos through my theatre system? I keep getting the message "This device not supported". My theatre system WILL recognise my Iphone however. The theatre system, Ipod, and Iphone are all less than 4 months old. Any suggestions welcome!
Check with the theater system vendor and see if their system is compatible with the Nano. The resolution on the Nano may be too low for the system.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your Mac, but just like pretty much everything else, things can go wrong.
The key is what Apple will do about it now that it has gone wrong. Because you are under warranty, contact AppleCare and explain the issues you are experiencing. There is a chance that your iMac may have to be sent in for repair.
My iMac has had issues since first bought in late 2009, in one form or another and has been repaired three times. AppleCare are going to replace the item sometime in the future, I have no idea when, but I have been without a working Mac for over three weeks now, actually it might be over four weeks.
As you said, AppleCare will sort the problem out for you, let's hope it's not a lengthy repair and they get you up and running quickly. -

No, the installer will not let you install Snow Leopard on an Intel Mac with less than 1 GB of RAM. Even if it did, performance would be unacceptable & the OS would probably be unstable.
If you want to run Snow Leopard you will need to upgrade to at least 1 GB of installed RAM. If you want it to run efficiently, you should install more. Typically, 2 GB will get you most of the benefits of a larger memory space but if your Mac supports more & you want the best possible performance, install the maximum the Mac can handle. -

I have now spoken to Apple about my problem and they told me to explain the situation to my Broadband service provider British Telecom (BT).
For reasons not explained, BT suggested the problem lies with the Router hardware they have supplied (BT Business Hub - 2701HGV). Although it is relatively new there is something that prevents it from downloading Mountain Lion???
They are posting me a new one which will not arrive for 2 days. I will let you know if the new router solves this issue. -
My 27" iMAC is less than 3 month old. Many times regardless of what application I am in the screen will start shifting back and forth left to right. Then I can't do anything until the screen stabilizes. This takes anywhere from 5 to 25 secs. Any ideas?

Luckily I had backed up all my music on a dvd so, when I had to format my hard drive after infection, I happily returned it all to itunes once everything had been restored. One problem. The files go into itunes but then won't play! Not a happy bunny.
