Can't use portable charger?

So I'm going to a festival in a few weeks and want to take my iPhone 5 (I know I shouldn't) and I've bought an AA battery powered portable charger. I am using a 100% legitimate apple cable (It came with my phone), yet when I plug it in to my portable charger it comes up with the message "this accessory is not supported" and ceases to charge. I know there are restrictions on which lightning cables apple lets you use, but I was unaware that they had stopped you using different chargers too? Is there any way around this, and If not, can anyone recommend a portable charger that 100% works with an iPhone 5?

Maybe, depends on the charger. It would appear that while older iPods only needed the power pins, newer ones may require the data pins to also be active for charging. Some chargers do not connect the data pins at all.
But it won't damage the Nano. It will either work fine or do nothing at all.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). Yuppers, but you just can't do it in reverse since an iphone charger won't put out enough juice to effectively charge an ipad

6500s can i use other charger?

I have got a question about Nokia 6500 Slide.
The charger from this device is: AC-4 but i have seen that other models (like AC-3 for example..) have similar specificactions.
Can I use the AC-3 charger with 6500 slide? The voltage, output, its the same. But amperage is lower.

But, are you sure that i don´t need to check the amperage, too?
Charger 1 it´s from N70 and charger 2 it´s from 6500 slide.
(NOTE: the pins in Spain are differents than UK) but the characteristics are identical.

First have lower amparage than the second. I am afraid that is important for the time charge.
It´s not bad charge a battery with a lower amparage?

And it will charge the phone faster than the cube that comes with the phone. This was not true for any models before the 6; you could use an iPad adapter, but it would not charge any faster because the charging circuit in the phone limited the charge rate to 1 amp. The charge circuit in the 6 and 6 plus can sustain 1.6 amps.

iPad/iPod/iPhone chargers are interchangable.
iPhone chargers used to charge iPad will take longer.

To answer your question, to upgrade from 10.5 to 10.6 you need to purchase the 10.6 retail DVD such as from here.

The DVD is reasonablly priced, and once installed you can upgrade your iTunes etc.
