I have my new media center PC set up with the 5. analog system up, running and sounding great. Does anyone know if it is possible to run a second set of speakers (digital speakers via the digital output) at the same time in adjacent room?

Yes you can. The digital output is always working. You can disable the analog outputs and just stay with digital out by clicking on the digital output only checkbox.
But as long as you don't, all outputs will be working.

Yes.....IF.....you use a powered USB hub.
I have had 3 printers connected at the same time in the past and assume that more would work as long you have a powered hub to support the number of ports that you need.

Yes it does... but you'll need to purchase a separate Digital I/O module for Digital In (visit creative's site for more details).

Hi all, call me greedy but belive it or not, I am running out of USB ports!!
I have a Belkin 7-port USB 2.0 Powered Hub (with 2 ports pointing upbright) which serves me very well, but I am running out of ports, now that I am considering getting the new iPod nano.
Anyway, there are 3 ports behind the screen, now I have my Mighty Mouse, the Hub's USB cable and a HK Soundsticks attached.
I am thinking of getting another similar 7-port Hub, they are actually stackable, but of course I won't use all 7 ports fully on the 2nd new one.
Can the iMac supports and substain 2 USB hubs?? I have actually never seen anyone with more than 1 hub??

I have two USB hubs attached to my iMac G5 - they are both self-powered (their own power supply); one is a USB 2 with 6 ports and a multi card reader built in and the other my old USB 1 with 4 ports. They are plugged into the rear of my iMac along with the printer. Everything else, including keyboard and mouse, are plugged into the hubs and I am using a total of 8 ports - and everything works. I don't know if that would change if they weren't self powered.

The entertainment industry mafia does not allow commercial DVDs to be "region free". However, a so called "Region 0" DVD can play anywhere, as is the case for most music DVDs. Can the 1841 router boot from system image from usbdisk?

I have a cisco1841 router with 32M CF card installed.
Now , i want boot a system image larger 32M from usbdisk.
First i insert the 128M usb flash disk to the 1841 router and format it, then i can see the device from dir command.
Second copy the larger ios image from tftp to the usb disk and successed,i can see the image with " dir usbflash0:" command.
Third i use this command "boot system " ,but there is no selection of "usbflash0: "
Does someone tell me that can the cisco 1841 router boot the system image from usb disk when reboot the router.

before the second " program load complete.........................."
there is about 3 minutes to wait.
So , the router boot from usb disk take long time than from CF card.

I dont use any additional little speakers if I want listen to the music.
In my opinion the Qosmio speakers are good and there is no much difference between Qosmio speakers and a 3rd party 2.1 speakers.
If you want to have a really good sound quality you should use the S/PDIF jack and connect the notebook to the HiFi.
This is my suggestion.

Can't find Application Support from System in time machine

I played minecraft for quite a long while. The thing is, i clean installed mountain lion, and so i backed up. But in time machine folder i couldn't find Machintosh/Libarry/Applications Support and minecraft saved folder is inside =3= can anyone help me. Thanks for helping

Perhaps the file you are looking for is in your own Library/Application Support? Macintosh/Library/Application Support is the folder for all users. It's quite possible that it was saved there, but I would think a program would store individual user save files in the users's own Library.
To get there, hold down the Option (alt) key and select Library from the Go menu in Finder.
Once you have the Application Support Folder open, Enter Time Machine and restore the file from the Minecraft support folder.

I think it was Edwin that implemented the controlbar plugin, if I recall correctly, so here's an interesting question for him.
I've tried the controlbar plugin on regular media such as audio or video, and it works as expected. It does not work however when the target is a SWF.
I undersand that SWFs (in general, outside of the context of the controlbar plugin) need a workaround by setting custom traits on them. I've implemented that workaround and it works fine when the controlbar plugin is NOT involved. When we add the controlbar plugin into the equation, it breaks. So at least we know it's probably due to the implementation of plugin itself.
I have an update on this:
For the pause button for example, I get a run-time error that leads me to org.osmf.chrome.widgets.PauseButton, and it's complaining about line 43 having a null object or method. Not sure how to give it what it wants though since the traits should have already been added to the SWF.

That sounds like you didn't construct the media of OSMFCongfiguration has not been initialized, so the media is null.
See "ControlBarPluginSample.as" in ControlbarPluginSample Line 46. and trace from there.

We just got a new Apple TV and would like to use two different iPhones using different ITunes accounts to control the device through the remote app. Is is possible?

The multiple account is only for iTunes store not for Home Sharing :-(
You still have to use the same ID for all phones that runs the remote app. So my kids have to pair their phone via my account as well. We can't add multiple Home Sharings either, both my kids and my fiance uses iTunes as well and have their own content but they can't access it via the ATV without going in to settings and remove me and login as them self.
We will try with a common user id to see if that can solve our problem but I guess the new id will not get access to our content in iTunes or we have to share it some how.
(I have ATV Software 5.1.1 on my ATV)
