Can the font size in the menus be changed?

I have a cinema display 30" and if i've been working a bit, i find that the very small text size in the menus, including the toolbar itself, are too small to read without moving across the table to the monitor. Is there a way to enlarge the font size in these menus? same goes for the toolbar in safari, but that's another issue.

Sometimes this can be altered by going inside the "plist" for the project and making specific changes. It is beyond my scope, but someone on these forums should be talented enough to suss it out.

When you email a picture from Photos, you can choose the size.

Ignore the requirement. 1000 is close enough to 1024 not to make a difference. They cannot be checking the speed anyway.
You may find youtub videos slow.

can u pls help me ??? can the case of the data in a itab be changed while running the program? the data is uploaded to an internal table and then based on loop at that itab the conditions will evaluate to give the result.... but the problem is like wen the data is given in small letters the worste(last) condition is executing even the data satisfies the condtion which is not supposed to happen. this is due to case sensitive problem ...can u pls help me ....can the case be changed while uploading the data r after uploading ????

Font size - Drop down menus

My PSE-8, newly installed on windows 7 platform has very small font sizes and I can only read with difficulty (aging eyes) the drop down menu headers; they are about font size 6 maybe even 5. There are same font size problems elsewhere in the menus but I can`t remember where.
Does anyone know if and how these font sizes can be increased ? Much appreciate your time to direct me to the solution to this most annoying feature.

My dpi resolution is already at 150 % the max default setting and there is no change. Is sure wish this could have worked.

Font size and color will not change in emails, blogs, forums etc.

I can no longer change the style or color of fonts in emails, blogs, forums etc. I can change the font size and nothing else. Everything works when I am connected using explorer so it is a setting or update in firefox that is causing the problem. If I cut/copy and paste into a word document from a web site I still cannot make a change. If I copy from a word document into a web site the colors and fonts revert to some default setting. I have tried changing the setting in Options for the fonts and colors, they make changes but they don't solve the problem.

Tiny font size on G3 menus

I recently gave a Bondi Blue 233 Mhz G3 iMac to my parents. I noticed before giving it to them that the fonts on the menu bars were very small, both in Finder and the applications. I tried everything I could think of to increase the size, but nothing worked. I also posted a question on my local Apple Users' discussion board but no one could help me.
So far my parents have been able to see the words OK, but I'd like to increase the size if possible. I increased the size of the icons in Finder so they're really huge. My parents are in their 80s and this is their first Mac. My sister gave them a PC a few years ago but it was too confusing and they got rid of it. I'm hoping the iMac will at least get them off of WebTV!
By the way, I'm about 400 miles away from my parents so unless there's a really simple solution that I can walk them through via phone or email, I might not be able to try any suggestions until I visit them in August.

I assume the screen resolution is at the default 1024x768. You could change it to 800x600 to make it easier on the eyes. The other option is to explore Easy Access (I'm assuming this iMac is still in OS 8.6/9 - it's called Universal Access under OS X) which provides a Zoom facility. If it is OS X you're using on the iMac then the VoiceOver facility will read out commands / OS options (Apple and F5 toggles this on/off).

Discussion_ dbsid user - can the password be changed

I have installed OCS as a single server install and have been configuring Oracle Mail and Discussions.
I would like the discussions to be visible through a Novell Groupwise client.
To date I have managed to get my inbox and any other mail folders to display using IMAP and I can send and receive e-mail through this service.
I cannot get the discussions to display as a shared folder. I have created the IMAP entry but have been unable to authorise against the mailstore. they are perfectly visible through the Oracle Web Client.
I am wondering whether the discussion_<dbsid> user needs to accessed, via an alias (I set this in the forum properties) unfortunately I do not know the password.
I do not want to go ahead and change discussion_<dbsid> password as I am not sure if there are side affects and I do not want to reinstall. Is is safe to change this password?
Does anyone know the default construction of this password, I believe it is randomized on creation?
Has anyone experience with changing this password?
Is it safe to do?
Is there any documentation regarding this user other than chapter 5 of Mail Administrators guide and installation notes?
Any help would be appreciated.

Nope, not at all. When they restored your phone, all data on your phone was erased. So, passcode protecting your phone did its job...protected your data...that's its purpose.

the function works perfect but after ocr the letters still get displayed the way they looked from scanning.
is there a way the replace the (recognised) letters by a vector font?

It would be helpful if you'd tell us what version of Acrobat you're using. The names and locations of the commands move with different versions.

Can the Picture Frame change rate slow down?

Twenty seconds is *way* too fast but appears to be the slowest it goes. Ideally something like twenty *minutes* is what I'm after.

Yes, I saw that slideshow feature in Photos so was disappointed to find that the Picture Frame feature is simply the very same thing! While I would agree with Apple that 20 sec is probably ok for a slideshow, where the user is concentrating on the screen and actively *watching* it, a picture frame is entirely different, it's just glanced at occassionally. A picture frame that flashes up a different shot every 20 secs is very distracting.
I suppose there is the solution of using lots of duplicates of each shot in an album to extend the time each is on screen, but even a 10 minute duration would need 30 copies of every image!

My Daugther went to a local Church fair and she had her iPod touch and it flew out but the screen didn't crack the ear jack is dent and the screen is popping out , But it works fine . Can the apple store change it or fix it?

They will just exchange it ($149 for latest 8G model) for a rebuilt one--they won't repair that. Make sure you back it up before you take it in.

KM4M-L Can the FSB be changed???

I have a KM4M-l mobo. Cannot seem to change my fsb or voltage. Worse still my Amd barton 2600+ is 0347.Muliplier -locked. Any idea to overclock?

I had downloaded the latest updated version of Firefox and I ended up syncing it to my Android phone. I went into some kind of settings dialog and accidentally changed my font and text settings and now I can't read any of my Gmail that's in my account on my desktop computer-it's too small. I'm trying to figure out how I can get into the content settings (I have the print out of what I'm to do once I get into the 'options' on the content settings page, but I don't know how to bring up the content settings menu/page). I use my desktop PC for work purposes and I can't use it with the font and text settings the way they are now. I also read where questions are being answered, but no one knows how to find the answers to the questions people are asking. How do we get to the answers that people give us about the question we have asked?
I hope you can help me ASAP so I can change what I need to ASAP. I work on my pc 24/7 for work and it's not helping me when I can't read emails and I can't fix the problem.

I followed the directions that were given to me in this forum. The only difference on my desktop PC computer after you click on the three lines at the top right of the screen after signing into your g-mail account, it will bring up the menu and you click on the 'Options' tab. I'm on G-mail and I'm running windows 7 Home Premium; there wasn't a preference tab and the percentage was already set at 100%. It takes you straight to the options menu. You then click on the 'Content' tab if it's not already open, change your font and font size to what you want, and then click OK. It reset those items for me and now I can read my emails. I noticed if you change the font type and size to something other than Times New Roman-size 16 (default font & size), you may have to change the size of font to a higher number (i.e. Arial-18 font size). You just have to adjust them for your preference if you want something other than Times New Roman-font size 16.
