Can the same iphone be used to develop on two different mac hardware sets?

My co-worker and I are both developing iPhone code. I am the only one around with an iPhone. A couple of questions:
1.) It is possible for him to use my iphone to test his code (with HIS mac), then I do the same on MY mac. Will this conflict? Will iTunes freak?
2.) If we were to purchase another iphone, we'd prefer not to get a contract (which Apple makes you do). Can we use an unlocked phone, or an ATT phone purchased on eBay (assuming there is no current subscription).
We are running identical OSx versions. I have and air, he has a pro.

What you need to do is both use the same Apple ID for iTunes content, but separate Apple ID's for everything else. So, you keep your existing Apple ID. If not a verifiable email address, you will need to create a new Apple ID for yourself. You also create an Apple ID for your wife, again a verifiable email address. You use the existing Apple ID for all iTunes content. The new Apple ID's for iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, etc. Here's how to create an Apple ID:

By "game center account", do you mean Apple ID?
If so, you can change it.
1. Tap settings and navigate to iTunes and App Stores
2. Tap "Apple ID" and then tap "Sign Out"
3. Log in with a different ID.

Yes. You will need to configure Time Machine preferences on each computer to backup to the same drive. Note that you cannot connect the backup drive to both machines at the same time.

After you purchase it once, you redownload it on other devices by the following, not like purchasing a new app.

If you really got charged twice for purchases the same app twice with the same account contact iTunes again by:

Make sure that they are really the same app first.

Can the same name be used for both an iCal calendar and reminder list?

In iCal, I have a Reminder list named "Home". I have been trying to also give a Calendar the name "Home", but iCal does not seem to want me to do this. When I try to use the name Home for a Calendar, it changes it to the name "Home C" (a name that I gave it when I couldn't get it to let me use "Home"). Is this a restriction within iCal? I have iCal synched with iCloud, which in turns syncs with an app called 2Do on my iPhone. I am not sure if that may be part of the problem.

hi, i want to be able to change what area the player goes to when they press the journey button. but the code i made can only display one message, and that is, "you journey on..."

A friend of mine who lives in the Ukraine wants to have an iPhone. Now that Apple is selling unlocked iPhones, I'm wondering if there's a carrier in the Ukraine to support it. Anyone know?

Okay. Firstly, you CANNOT have both an unlocked and a sim free phone - this is contradictory.
If your phone is sold sim free, then this means that it is not unlocked and your phone will be locked to the carrier of the first sim card that you insert into your phone. Is your phone locked to the 3 network?
However, if you purchased your phone directly from Apple and you asked for an unlocked phone, then it will remain locked whatever, allowing you to change sim cards. Is this the case.
This is incorrect about Verizon. Verizon in the US operates on the CDMA network which is not available in the UK or anywhere outside the US, so yes, you will be able to put a T-Mobile sim card in your phone and it will work for the length of time that you are in the US, assuming that your phone is actually unlocked and will work with another sim card inserted.

If officially unlocked, you can purchase a sim from one of the two nationwide GSM carriers, AT&T or T-Mobile. However, AFAIK, none of the carriers in India offer unlocking for the iPhone. Thus, if your phone is carrier locked, the only way it will work in the US is roaming...that would cost a fortune.
So, if you have a carrier locked iPhone, leave it home or sell it before you come to the US, then purchase an officially unlocked iPhone, from Apple, when you get to the US. You'll be able to use that phone in India when you go back.

"Dumb" phones or phones not in the smart category that don't have internet access in any shape, form, or fashion can exchange SMS/MMS.
Since SMS/MMS (a poor man's email with cell phones since it is very limited) is a cash cow for carriers and very profitable, why wouldn't cell phone carriers be interested in including SMS/MMS as an additional option (and of course at an additional expense) with a data plan only for the iPad? They certainly are interested in it but they can't since SMS/MMS is exchanged over the same network as calls.

The easiest way to find out what carrier it's locked to would be to call the store where you purchased the phone.
The phone can be unlocked from any location. However, most carrier have restrictions about unlocking and you have to contact them for details.

I don't believe that the phone would recognize the other sim card as legit. The US iPhone is locked to ATT and the UK iPhone is locked to O2.
