Can we have spaces in our filenames?

We are moving web publishers on our projects web site here at edinburgh University over to use Contribute CS4. the site has many files that contain spaces in their name, both HTML and MS documents. Contribute seems to force the removal of these spaces, thus breaking links in the site. Is there any way around this problesm? Can we configure Contribute to allow spaces in filesnames?

Contribute will not allow new pages to have spaces (or any special charactes) in the filename. But if you have an already published page to the server with spaces, you can always use contribute to edit and republish the page. All the links will be working fine.

iTunes Match is not sharable across Apple IDs. The best way to get the music on her iPad is to leave hers signed into her Apple ID on the iTunes Store and sync via USB.

I will share with you what I have done to manage this with my family. While the solution isn't without flawes, it seems to do the trick. First, you need to have one person who is managing the synching of everyone's devices. In my family, I have three iphones, about to be four, and five ipads. We all synch to the same apple ID to allow one another to take seemless advantage of our Itunes, which is on our Imac. To synch individual music or video interests, we simply select which playlists we want and manually synch that way. A couple of us use imatch and the cloud to make the entire library accessable as well. With respect to the imessage, mail, contacts, etc. we each have a gmail account for our individual emails, contacts etc. So for instance, my forth grade daughter has a gmail account that we choose to synch her contacts, calendar, etc to and then that is also the account where she receives her imessages from on her ipad and itouch. My son, who has an iphone and ipad, does the same thing, but under settings, he goes to imessage and checks his phone number and his email as his preferred way to receive imessages and texts. My wife and I do the same thing. To avoid having everyone see one anothers contracts etc, we only synch contacts from our individual email accounts. Here is the downfall to this: When you update your phone or add a new device, apple always wants to reset everyone's facetime and imessage settings and then low and behold we are all receiving imessages from one another's friends etc. To work around this, I simply take each of their devices and go to their imessage settings and only check the email and phone numbers relative to their devices. I dont' know is this is the best solution, but it seems to work for us.

If have separate iCloud accounts and want to keep your all your iCloud data separate, you can create separate user accounts for each of you, then sign into your individual iCloud account within your user account.
If you want to just add both iCloud calendars on your Mac, you can sign into one iCloud account in System Preferences>iCloud, then add the second account in System Preferences>Internet Accounts>iCloud and only check Calendars with this second account.

There is no Wishlist as there are other things a bit more tight in place where experienced partners work with BC on stuff for everyone. While the Amazon migration is taking a lot of man power out of BC development at the moment this was already seeing great and right features rolling out for all.
Support has gone through a lot of changes and had a bad patch but the ticket system is on an all new system and I BC had a big jump so they had to hire a lot of new people, and it was rough for a while but I think this has improved a lot and continues to prove as the support team gain more experience. You can only be good at a support job once you learn the system and get more experience. That can only happen with time.
In terms of problems and issues etc - You have the system status page, of which you can also subscribe too for updates via RSS and email:

And the Blog is ALWAYS updated of the latest happenings. Big things like the Migrations partners have been getting emails and you will have seen this come through.
You also need to check the forums as well as a lot of things are covered more then once on here, If you have an issue make a ticket but it is likely BC already know and other partners have already passed it on.

The film is still queuing in the downloads list. I've tried edit and delete but that doesn't work. I also can't re-download the film from iTunes.

Assuming you have finished with your old backup.....
You can see what your iCloud storage is used for and delete any unwanted content at settings > iCloud > backup & storage > manage......

Have you talked to your carrier (or your friend to his)? Could be an issue at their end.

How can I load pics from camera without spaces in the filename (PSE5)

I want to load the pics from my Fuji Camera with my newly acquired Photoshop Elements 5 into its database as simple as possible. I get offered several ways of renaming the pics during the import. Unfortunately the date formats offered (for folder or filenames) do *all* include space characters " ", which I do not like, because this caused me earlier a lot of trouble when putting the pics online, for example (%20 in the path name). Another reason is my existing photo collection since 2001, which has no spaces in the filenames as well.
Example for the filename:
PSE offers: "jj mm dd 001.jpg"
I want : "jjmmdd_001.jpg" or at least "jj_mm_dd_001.jpg" or anything similar.
For folder names the same thing appears.
Is there a way to do that without typing each date without spaces by hand?
How?
I would like to have the photo load process as simple as possible, without having to remove the spaces with a separate rename tool.
Any ideas?
I searched for quite a while and I am surprised that nobody else seems to have this problem. Am I just too picky?

Ken, again thanks for your writing. IMHO, if PSE had space free filenames, this would lead to a very simple and fast workflow with PSE alone (!) like this: 1. Just connect my camera (Fuji F31fd) with the USB cable (no fiddling with the memory card in and out each time) 2. Transferring all (or selected) pics into PSE, one folder per day, named yymmdd_optional_theme_description. 3. Delete all non-optimal pics after viewing in PSE. Then tagging, pic-improving where needed .... 4. As backup, burn/move to CD from time to time and copy/move to an external HDD for double security. Its just the spaces in the filenames which prevents me from using this. I want to have the workflow well defined and fixed before I start using PSE5. But it seems there is no workaround (so far). Maybe I should just take the "trouble" and rename every folder manually within PSE. No problem with one or 2 days, and still not a very big problem after a 3 week holiday. But still all single photo files will have the spaces in them. If I want to avoid that, I really have to bring them to the PC without PSE, rename them as batch with Irfan or any other tool, and then import them to PSE, as you wrote. From my point of view, a lot of unnecessary hassle, especially if I have the simple workflow from above in mind. Many people seem not to be disturbed by the spaces in the filenames. I wonder if I overrate the disadvantage of it. Your opinion(s)? I am not sure what you mean with <Perhaps Ulrich would be well served if he created a collection of newly acquired pictures with a common theme.> In fact I want to come away from theme centered archiving the photos, which is what I did so far. If you remove the names then you may have a problem with organizing or searching for bookmarks. 
If you do not want to use the extension then you can achieve the same effect with code in userChrome.css 
That is what I would do.
Add code to userChrome.css below the @namespace line.
