Pretest score normally is not sent to the LMS. However it is stored in a system variable, you could use JS to send it.

In a roaming network, your "main" router is the device that would require port mapping/forwarding to be configured in order to access the IP camera from the Internet. This router is also the one that would be provide the private IP address for the camera which you will want to be a static one.
So as you described your network, the IP cameras should be getting an IP address or you assigned it a static one and this is the address that you would enter in the Private IP address (or equivalent depending on the router used) field when setting up port mapping.
If you are not able to access this camera from the local network, then this should be troubleshot first.

Pre and Post test Questions

I have a project that requires a pre-test, post-test and
knowledge reviews throughout the course. I have created 10 question
slides (I did not use question pools). I am having two issues occur
within the course. First I do not want to track or score the
pre-test questions or the questions embedded within the course what
I will refer to as Knowledge reviews.
I do want the user to go through and receive feedback on each
question answered incorrectly but I do not want a score to be
collected/tracked or tallied as part of the sum total for the
course. The post-test questions need to be the only tracked/scored
questions with that value being submitted to the LMS.
Currently all the questions are being tallied in the course.
(i.e test results show 30 questions with a score when there should
only be 10). What is the best way to include mutiple questions
within my course (as pre-test and Knowledge reviews) but not have a
score tracked until the user takes a post test.
To correct this should I change the pre-test and knowledge
reviews to a survey type question? Or should I leave the question
as graded but set the point value to 0. I inially left the pre-test
and knowldge reviews as graded questions but I deselected Report
Answers under the reporting tab thinking this would prevent the
passing of a score, which is not the case.
If anyone can offer some advice or point me to some
documentaiton that discusses this I would greatly appreciate any
help.
The second issue I have is with the progress indicator within
the course. Is there a way to revmove this from the quesiton pages.
My client does not want to see this indicator. The current work
around I am using is to reduce the font size of the indicator to
5pt, setting the font color to match my background and then
positioning the indicator in a set loation on the page. While this
workaround works I would like to remove it in total if possible.

The first part sounds very weird. I just made a project which
included knowledge checks in the middle of the course and they are
not tracked in the final test. I used Graded questions in my course
and I initially set the score per question to 0 points. After I
found out that they were counted in the question total I removed
the reporting for each of the questions. Now the points are not
being counted and also the questions are not being counted in the
final assesment - I just have the 6 questions out of 6 in the
post-test even though I have 4 knowledge checks inside the course
it self.
Try and click F9 to open up the advanced interaction panel
and make sure that the answers are not being reported. I know it's
obvious, but sometimes Captivate does some weird things.
As for your second question regarding the progress indicator
you can remove that by going to Quiz - Quiz Preferences - Settings
and then unchecking the box "Show Progress".

Firewire as audio out - can i send my iTunes out through my firewire port and into a DAC?

I have a 5 year old (retired) MacBook with firewire 400 and 2 USB 2 ports. I want to use it as my music source for a fine stereo system. I want to know if I can use my firewire port to ship my digital music signal out to a DAC before sending it to my pre-amp in analogue format. OR, can I use the optical digital audio out in the heaphone jack to do it? What is the bandwidth of the optical out?

You do not need .Mac in order to send photos by e-mail. It sounds like you use ATT as you internet provider. Have you configured Apple Mail to be able to send e-mail yet? Can you send an e-mail text message OK?
If you haven't yet gotten Mail configured to work with your ATT account a quick call to ATT should give you all the information you need. Setting up Mail is easy.

Hi, I have the problem mentioned in the subjet: I can't send e-mail with pdf attached from Acrobat 9.2.0...when I click on the envelope acrobat tells me it can't estabilish a link to Windows Mail (latest version).
Any idea?

Andrea. Just fixed my issue.
This worked for me.
1. I deleted my iCloud account from Mail settings on my iPhone and iPad. Make sure to keep all information in your iPhone
2. I then went back to settings and chose iCloud instead of mail and logged in using my Apple id (.mac). It asks you to merge data (say yes)
3. I went back to Mail setting and then iCloud account. You will notice apple Id reverts back to (.mac) address but if you select Account <apple id> and look under advanced the email address under mail will be your new (.me) address.
Hope this helps. I've been trying for 5 days. Just make sure to add back iCloud through the iCloud settings and not through Mail settings.

Maybe no need. I think I just need to use the utl_http package and create a soap message programmatically, which will create the header, step through each of my items, and then close the message and send it.

I think I have solved this problem on m iPad2 by:
1. Reinstalling my email account.
2. Changing the settings on my PC to stop it from deleting my email from the server before my iPad could load them.
My PC uses Windows Air Mail. I made no known changes to my PC from the time I was running iOS6 to the installation of iOS7 ??? MS did come out with several updates this week??
3. In the same time frame when I was scrolling through web pages the Control Bar popped up every third stroke. It is very easy to change the setting of the Wy Fi setting from On to Off while deleting the unwanted Control Panel without any indication. This means that the Wy Fi must be constantly checked to make sure that is ON???
The three problems at the same time have made this the worst mess to fix in 12 years of internet use. The fix has lasted for about 8 hours at this point, Tomorrow will tell.

I think the best thing to do (and I do so with configuration in-ears) is to create a new audio channel strip called eg "master keyboard" and send all channel strips for that bus. The entry would be one of Buses (ex. 1) and the output Output 1-2.
Now create a new audio channel strip called eg "headphones" to enter one of the buses (eg 2) and output Output 3-4.
Now a send from the master keyboard to send the Bus 2 (headphones).
It seems hard but it is really quite easy. Read several times and follow step by step.
I think this is a good way because it has control of everything (volumes, placing inserts, etc.) on each output of your card (master keyboard and headphones and other).
in my case I also have a mic input is one whose output is output 4 (ex) and could be a send to bus 2 (headphones) would be listening, independent levels with a mixture of keyboard and mic.
try it and post your results.

Imac is 4 months old. Using installed Outlook for Mac 2011 but now want to use ical so that I can start to use iCloud to sync with my Ipad2 and iPhone. How do I move my calendar from outlook to ical on the iMac?

This is my first attempt at using this forum so please be patient with me. I am new to the apple world. Bought an Imac desktop computer back in October and installed Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 because I was used to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and outlook. Now I am being told that I should be using ical for my calendar so that I will be better able to move to icloud for use between my Imac, Ipad2, and Iphone.
The question is: how do I move my calendar which is in "Outlook for Mac 2011" into ical on my Mac? Do I have to remove the Outlook entries from the computer and reinstall them back to the same machine or can I somehow move calendar entries within the machine? I appreciate any help I can get. What can i do when i purchase an app then after purchase the app fails to work. I deleted the app rebooted ipa then reinstated app. It still fails to work. I went to vendor support but when i go to send the info to them it comes up with unable to send msg due to page error. I am not happy. My child loved the app now it wont even open. Any help???

You use BCC instead of TO when addressing the message.
BCC = Blind Carbon Copy
The easiest way to do this is using the Contact Sidebar in the Write window. Press F9 to turn it on when a Write window is open.
Select all the contacts for the message. Hold the control key while clicking the contacts to select multiples. Then use the Add to BCC button at the bottom.

Not with the Messages app. The option will only appear if you are messaging another iOS user. There may be other apps that will let you do that cross platform. Check the App Store.

iPads only support iMessage. You cannot send SMS with any of the native iOS functionality on it. There may be some apps in the app store that will, and certainly several messaging platforms (but read the descriptions carefully).
